"The Lost Commanders" is the premiere episode of Star Wars Rebels Season Two. Lucasfilm announced today that it will premiere on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:30pm on Disney XD. They've also released a clip, where Ahsoka hints that Kanan needs to trust her friend who the rebels are going to meet - a friend we know to be Captain Rex.

A friend Kanan will obviously mistrust, for equally obvious reasons.

Which I love the idea of. The conversation Kanan and Hera had about the Clone Wars in The Siege of Lothal was some of the most nuanced shit that the saga has ever done. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Rex/Kanan interaction will be like. And I really hope that Rex murdered Jedi before he overcame Order 66. That would be a much deeper story, with a lot more dramatic potential.

Old rex looks amazing from the clips. Was so upset when they cancelled clone wars so am really looking forward to seeing the old characters back again.

I'm actually really curious about Rex being in this, as in what happened to him between The Clone Wars and... now.

Wait. Gregor is coming back?! And Wolfe!?

Wow. Major props. They brought back two characters that where very interesting but never got enough screen time.

So they were not apart of Order 66? Maybe Rex did some investigating after the death of Fives?

I need to watch the "Bad Batch" Reel. I feel like that might give some insight into it.

What did everyone think of this episode? It was mostly set up for "Relics of the Old Republic" but I enjoyed it. Lots of great character moments, especially for the clones.

Definitely a good episode, light on action to be sure, and the one insane clone was kinda off putting. I also would have liked to have seen one of the other named clones from the clone wars returning.

I like the clone commando armor though. That was a cool addition.

AT-TE gets destroyed in the fight with the Empire after being badass, Rex decides to join up with the Rebels. Calling it.

I oddly liked the fact that it seemed as though most of the crew, other than Kanan and Hera, were not at all cognizant of what occurred between the Jedi and the Clones. The Imperial Probe being able to sneak aboard despite the very loud sounds it produces and then how easily Wolfe's actions were forgiven did bother me though. But altogether, it was a fairly decent episode.

Did Sabine change her hair?

Though I agree Wolfe got off really easy unless it's going to be brought up again in the next episode. Not a bad episode though. The parts with Zeb and Kanan were enjoyable, and Ezra is slowly becoming likable.

Yeah...slowly likeable. I'm not really that into Ezra. His character is just a little weird for me

I'm good with Ezra honestly. By the end of Season 1, I thought he was fine.
