Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl ground his teeth as Romeo brought up the subject of the Sith Empire being invited by the New Republic- with the ISC's support- to join the Galactic Senate. A significant voice and a wide-reaching platform was being given to murderers with the blood of millions on their hands. Wisely, the Mandalorian didn't give Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl time to begin to rant, quickly steering the conversation towards something actionable; the touring of their planets so that plans could be further solidified.

The Wookiee was quick to defend his planet's current status to his... associate... from Dosh, however. "Kashyyyk's ecosystem has been recovering most impressively" he said. "Wroshyr wood is incredibly difficult to damage or burn" -even diamond saws broke trying to cut down the trees- "and outside of where the onagers struck, most of the Wroshyr trees survived." The rest of the galaxy may have written off Kashyyyk, but the jungle planet had begun to heal in the years following the bombardment, aided by the prodigious growth rate that the planet enjoyed from its long-ago terraforming.

What the Wookiee didn't mention was that while the foliage and underbrush grew back quickly, the planet's population and industry did not. Several major cities had been hit, and millions of Wookiees had died. Even taking the humanity out of those staggering numbers laid bare the simple truth that Wookiees did not repopulate as quickly as the planet did.

"Please let me know when you have finished your tour of Dosh, and we can schedule a tour of what Kashyyyk can offer" he said to the two Mandalorians, making a note of their armor and markings. He intended to do as much research on these two warriors as possible in order to determine exactly how much of Kashyyyk's capacity they would truly get to see. There was some benefit to the galaxy writing you off, of course...

The reptilian softly put one of his clawed hands on the Wookie's shoulder, softly shaking his head. He understood, many planets did not understand Dosh nor Kashyyyk. They were resilieant and feral, their ecosystems designed as if they were meant to actively spite those who would try to try to put them down.

"You needn't defend your planet'sss recovery to me. My people underssstand thosssse treessss almossst much asss you do. Thossse treessss are sssome of the mosssst resssilient ssstructuresss I have ever sssseen." His soft growl was lessened to try and talk soothingly. The pain the Wookie must have felt... vengeance may be theirs soon. If everything went to plan that is. After a few beats, he slowly pulled his claw from the Wookies shoulder and returned to his lap.

"I shall let them go visssit Kashyyyk firssst, to try and locate where their bassse on your planet. I shall begin making motionsss, preparing for when my plan begins."

Romeo remained seated for the moment, observing and listening to the Reptile speak; it wasn't that the Mandalorian distrusted the Trandoshan Senator but there was always something much more innately honest and pure about the Wookie. Who could deny the truth that spoke from beneath those soft, woolen furs. As the topic of touring Kashykk first was mentioned, Romeo seemingly was in agreement with this though he didn't have a strong preference on which planet he would be assigned to. Knowing Kotii would likely want to first scout the Chieftain situation and help Rrodossk, this would be an opportunity for him to begin their efforts in the lands of Wookies.

Lifting his glass up in Salut, he nodded and begin to speak softly. "Very well then, it seems we are in agreement. Shall we plan for me to visit in the next few days, Senator?" He asked towards the Wookie. He had heard about a large diplomatic gathering occurring shortly though he was sure the Senator would find some down time in between the congregations. Considering the demands that were given by the other governments, they would need to act with haste in getting all things done. The worst situation would be for the Alliance to be without its Jedi or Rebel Mandalorians helping protect their borders.

Romeo turned towards Kotii, "Perhaps we should let Hauron take some initiative on these projects. The young kids got potential Kotii."

Allied by circumstances as they were, Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl was under no delusions as to the deep enmity between their two races. Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl tensed slightly as Rrodossk put his claw on his shoulder; how many Wookiees had physical contact with a Trandoshan that wasn't a fight to the death? Only the confidence that, as old as he was, he could still kick this Trandoshan Senator's ass kept the aged Wookiee from reacting further... and the situation from escalating.

The Wookiee was also frustrated that his generous offer to let Dosh be toured first- and in doing so, lessen the risk of an intelligence leak- had been ignored. "I'm afraid that I'm unavailable through the end of next week" he lied, hoping that was enough time for his planet's intelligence agency to further probe these Mandalorians. "But I will have my office reach out to set up a tour. Who should we expect?" he asked, for clarity. He'd now heard both of their names- Romeo and Kotii... as well as one of their compatriots; Hauron. Whatever the case, Kashyyyk would present themselves well. The Sith bombardment hadn't destroyed all of their defenses, and they would be more than ready for any potential treachery.

Kotii's jaw clenched at hearing the news from Romeo. The Sith were being treated as a political party capable of diplomacy. But he knew better than the politicians who believed they could co-exist with the dark side sorcerers. They only sought to dominate and conquer, or destroy. A growl of disapproval rumbled forth from the ex Solus'alor that was all too appropriate for a badger. But he refrained from giving any further opinion on the matter. The politics of the Senate were not something he could influence by making sharp tongued remarks in a loud club. He could see that Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl felt similarly.

The Wookiee Senator did not remain stuck on lamenting the past or the mistakes of others. Instead his words were optimistic, looking for the silver lining and even borderline braggadocios about the flora Kashyyyk was famous for. "I'm glad to hear that Senator. Perhaps acquiring some shield generators would make for a phalanx of protection so that it is even more ready for the Sith's inevitable return." The resilience of the Worshyyr trees were well known but even they could be damaged with enough of a bombardment. The agents of evil sought to destroy what they could not possess and the city centers could do well with increased defenses.

Kotii silently watched the physical contact between the two Senators, wondering if it would spark into brawl. But nothing came of it other than a few moments of awkwardness. These were strange times. When Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl said he was unavailable for the following week, the Solus would pause before nodding.

The Mandalorian took a breath, letting his shoulders rise for a moment as he thought of his adoptive son. Romeo's suggestion was fair and Kotii had been raising him to be a fighter. The young Mikkian had shown an aptitude for the warrior culture of a true Mandalorian. After thinking on it for a moment he would answer the Wookiee senator. "My son, @Hauron Solus will be the one meeting with you on Kashyyyk then a week from now. He's might even bring his pet rancor." The Mandalorian did not mention he too had such a beast. Though transporting them could be quite the chore, he had a feeling the jungles of Kashyyyk would be a great place for them to roam with plenty of game even considering the devastation it had received.

A commlink message chirped on the inside of his helmet, alerting the echani-offshoot there was a message incoming. Raising a hand to the side of his helmet he keyed the message and spoke before hearing what it was. "Give me a moment." Putting the call on hold, he returned his attention to those before him. Kotii took step forward and looked at each of the Senators in turn as he collected the signal tracer.. "I'm afraid I have other business to attend to. It was...nice meeting you both. We'll talk soon." With another added nod to each of them he would lastly look at Romeo. "You're welcome to stay brother. I have a call to take." His comrade did not have to join him but the meeting seemed to mostly be over. The rest of the interaction would likely be rest and relaxation. Regardless, Kotii would direct the Mandalorians in attendance to collect the gifts from Rrodossk. With his departure stated, he would head out of the club and take the call that had been waiting.

"Very well" Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl nodded, accepting his fate to parade a Mandalorian he didn't know around his planet. A nod to Kotii as the man left. "My office will be in touch."

The Wookiee then turned his attention back to Rrodossk, checking his chrono as he did so. "I must return to Kashyyyk soon; is there anything else you wish to discuss before I depart?"
