Creating this OOC to rule on the reports we recieved regarding this thread. You guys should also use it for pvp discussions this is sure to generate.
Ruling: The ambush stands. The thread will continue as-is.
After reviewing the reports and related logs, I've verified that this attack is the culmination of a legitimate espionage plot with proper prep and IC motivations. For clarity on the rules as written in Section V, Subsection N: OOC Deception- "circumstances" in this context refers to explicit agreements of no death, no pvp, no capture, etc- not the thread setting or pretense, which is covered by the espionage rules.
As always, this ruling is not up for debate.
