View attachment 4109 Another world, another time....in the age of wonder and excitement. Many a thousand years ago Tatooine was green and full of life.....until the Kumumgah created space flight and began to colonize surrounding planets against their masters wishes. the Rakata their masters, or more so known as the Infinite Empire noticed their blasphemy and assaulted the Kumumgahs planet. After the assault The climates drastically changed....

Then strife began, and two new races appeared. The cruel yet skiddish Tusken Raiders, and the smaller peaceful scavenging Jawas.

Here on the Jundland Wastes the Tuskens took control. Now the Tuskens gather in tribes, scattered about the desert. Where there were valuables, They can be found scouting and even assaulting said outposts.
View attachment 4101
The Tuskens with their fully covered, with their unknown body, and harsh twisted will for thousands of years have ruled. A fierce race lead by a fierce leader, once more gather their strength as they plan to raid the senior outpost on Tatooine. Before the sun rises to its peak the Tuskens ravage the land and draw its strength in numbers, once more they will wage war, through their sheer power, their determination and their ferocity.

But today the preparations give no comfort, and the tensions are high. Today the leader must win this battle or he will be dethroned, As a century ago his family claimed its fame to the throne during their first expansion.

Here far from their reaches, the Jawas live a dream of peace. scavenging, junking and scrapping. Their ways were more the peaceful aspects of business, numbly rehearsing the ancient ways in a mind of forgetfulness.
View attachment 4104
But today their swap meet brings no comfort. For Today the Jawa know of their upcoming defense. Today they summoned aid from across the galaxy, asking for an emergency aid from anyone daring to help. In the sea of dunes lives the smallest of the Jawas, Tik Tik.

The Tuskens had killed his previous tribe and only Tik survived, to be found by a clan leader and raised as his own. Theres no prophecy, nor legends of old... as years passed, now once more Tik must undergo a time of testing. Now he may be healed, or fall forever into the rule of darkness and evil.

At this time Tik is unknowing of his futures path, today Tik's flute gives no comfort, for today tik too is aware of their upcoming defense.

And today his journey must begin.....

Tik sat amidst the market, his flute blowing as he wandered the market, overlooking his tribes wares as they tried to sell to the passerbys. The swap meet was the Jawas bread and butter, this is where their hardwork of junking, scavenging and scrapping paid off. To the unknowing Tiks tune was more of an entertainment, but to the jawas, they knew its purpose. Its purpose was just the opposite, it was a tune of lifting spirits, they knew their assault was going to happen. They just didnt know when.

Tik tried to remain positive, for he was the tribe leaders son, he had to show courage not for his sake but for the sake of his people. As the time passed Tik looked amongst the growing crowed, that seemingly reached well over a thousand. A crowd his tribe had yet to of seen, and it was all owed to their new line of ships they were selling....

The Bantha Multi-purpose Space Tug Mk XIII

It was the pride and joy of their tribe. Their first real accomplishment. The product had already sold over at least a few thousands, catching the eyes of numerous companies as well as some undesirables. But none the less, money was money.

The funny thing was even if a jawa hated your guts but you had money and were willing to spend it, well guess what? You had a friend in the Jawas.

The smoke began to rise in the East towards the rockies. They knew what this ment, and soon they would see it.

Tik began to hope maybe someone amidst the crowd would be willing to stay and fight. Maybe just Someone willing to aid....

Ralmeri had found himself on the planet with two suns. Getting on the planet hadn't been hard since he passed himself off as a mercenary swordsman. Though, it didn't change the fact that he was weary of it being under Dominion control. He would have felt better if he knew the planet was as it was years ago without any form of overseeing authority. Having warriors on the planet that had ways of dealing with a force wielder just didn't sit right. Ralmeri hoped that being here was worth it. He didn't mind danger, but being in unnecessary danger was a price he had to pay.

The day had been unproductive as he could not find any hints of what he was looking for. His old master's records had led him to the hot planet with only mentioning the possibility of the natives having possible access to it. What he searched for was a Sith holocron. His former master had a lot of records that hints to the holocron being with one of the native tribes. Though, it would almost be like searching for a vibroknife in a dessert...quite literally. He asked different vendors if they knew of any artifacts and had been mostly shooed away for not buying. If this kept up, he was in for a long day and a long flight back to Tund.

What caught his eye in particular had been the smoke in the distance. He wasn't sure what it was, but it was clear that death insued. The feeling of the Dark Side swelled within him. It came to him like an exotic feeling of pleasure and power. He would be glad to test his mettle against the coming force. Not to save the Jawas, but as a method of drowning himself in his enemies innards. There was something about it that would be hard to explain in details to someone who didn't like fighting. Ralmeri took in the deep breath before almost running into a young Jawa. Looking at Tik with a bit of disdain, he knelt on one knee and pulled out a holo image showing a possible design of a holocron.

"I'll help you fight off what's to come if you can tell me about this," he started while motioning to the holo image, "I have some employers that have an interest in something like this. I don't know much about it other than a possible design. I would be...grateful if you could tell me anything.

Cade felt right at home as these Jawas were peddling their goods, Cade as a Squib relished in the making of a deal, and these Jawas were ripe for the taking. They were selling broken pieces of tech for pennies on the credit. Before he knew it, and after only visiting 40 of all the available vendors, Cade had packed nearly half of his hold with what he called refurbishables, or broken pieces of technology that he would later fix back to correct working order and sell again for nearly what a brand new off the factory piece would go for.

Although he wasn't totally interested in purchasing one, what had initially drawn Cade to the planet was the rumor that the Jawas had started their own ship yard and were producing a scavenging specific spacecraft the Bantha Multi-purpose Space Tug Mk XIII. After seeing a few of them, Cade had almost thought of trading his Sunskimmer-Class Starbird for one. but he'd grown attached to the ship that he had purchased in shambles and repaired back to nearly perfect condition, plus he wouldn't have anyone to crew it for him, and that would be zero fun.

Cade watched as a chipper looking Jawa playing a flute and dancing down the street was approached by a rather serious looking fellow who was looking for something "I'll help you fight off what's to come if you can tell me about this," as a Squib, his hearing was fantastic, even in the extremely crowded area of the swap meet.

Fight off what's to come? What's coming?

The man was displaying a holo Image.

Catching a good look at the diminutive pyramid like object. What a fantastic piece of technology.

Cade stepped forward to inquire about what the man meant about " What was to come " ,"Excuse me? When you s...." a commotion down the road a bit caught Cade's attention before he could finish his sentence. Apparently a Rodian man and a Jawa were having a heated dispute about something and the Rodian had knocked over part of the Jawa's vendor stand as a result, creating further tension, and distracting Cade for a brief moment.

The music ceased as Tik turned to the man.

'What a curious fellow'

Tik had thought to himself. A form of relief fellow over the young man but fear still was held high in his thoughts. They may win this one but no matter what, at the cost of many. His tribe was a well loved group and was the Jawas largest and well protected strongholds.

But none the less their enemy was great, and alot stronger than he.

The jawa seen the man pull out an object from his garb and held it forward but before the boy could see what it was an object had illuminated itself and projected a second object. Upon seeing this Tik was intrigued by the man and began to step forward giving him a few seconds of his time.

As The jawa stepped closer he began to recognize the objects projection....and fear slightly filled the boy. He recognized said projection as the blade that had been used in his original tribes massacre. Stepping back In fear tik bumped into a man, similar in stature. And turned swiftly to apologize but before any words could escape his person a comotion began down the road.

The stress levels began to rise as a small quarrel had erupted by a nearby marketing station. This was the last thing that Tik had wanted, just before their own problems began.

A horn blew off into the distance.....Tiks eyes widened as he slowly turned towards the mountains....this sound was far to familiar....the sound of death.....

Only Seconds after Everyones attention had passed to the east one of his fellow tribesmen fell to the ground, lifeless. Screams began to ensue as the sound of a rifle had echoed through the valley. But movement didnt follow until a second Jawa had fallen to his knees, only then did the crowd begin to scatter.

Many buyers had fled to their ship and already began to attempt to flee but were soon shot down. And those close enough to their stockade walls, began to flood into their fortress for protection....

--------------------------------------------------------------

Many claim stories are about two people falling in love, or others fighting to gain control.....not this one......this one is about loss and the creation of a new life....

Ralmeri wondered why such fear filled the Jawa. It was honestly quite amusing to him at seeing his actions. Could it be that bad? Maybe the Jawa knew something he didn't. Seeing the Jawa's reaction seemed to entice him more than it should have. He wanted to know more. There were a number of questions that came to mind that he wanted to ask. The dagger wasn't of so much significance to him as a weapon. He was more interested in a holocron. Though, the whole thing could have been a rues to get him killed. Studying it would be more beneficial to him than anything else. Though one thing for sure, he would need to go to Korriban Acadmey to figure out if he could siphon any knowledge out of the instructors. What he looked for may have been out of his league to study, but that wouldn't stop him.

The frantic individuals and the chaos erupting around him felt quite pleasant. He called upon the Dark Side which began to move like a breaking dam through his very soul. He stood up while looking down at the Squib and the Jawa. Ralmeri flicked his wrist as his lightsaber flew into his hand. A twisted smile emerged on his face under his helmet. He started to say something, but then thought again before he actually did.

"If you two want to live then you'll help me," he said menacingly as the violet blade of his cross guard hilt lightsaber hummed to life. He hoped the Jawa and newcomer would help. As a Sith, he didn't take his threats lightly. Ralmeri had to remind himself that he was supposed to be passing himself off as a sell sword. He could have easily survived on his own while letting the Jawas do all the work. "I could also let you die and figure it out on my own, but I rather have some kind of assistance."

"I'm in.." Cade's reply wasn't frantic even though he had taken cover and pulled his blaster pistol, a S41 Light Blaster, out. His armor wasn't thick, so he wasn't willing to take the chance on it.

Although he had just met both of the strangers, he wasn't keen on being left on his own.
