The Jedi Fleet​

The Order's naval force is neither a technological novel nor a massive entity. A small group of hastily refitted and upgraded Republic warships amassed by the Order in the years following the First Hutt War, it serves as the Order’s first and last line of orbital defense and their best means of transporting personnel and supplies from enclave to enclave.

It has been funded almost entirely by donations collected from grateful citizens and governments all across Republic space, and as such has a ‘hand-to-mouth’ existence; the Fleet almost instantly puts any money earned into supplies, spare parts, and the countless fees and upkeep costs that come with maintaining a fleet. As the Order isn’t an economic powerhouse and is thus forced to rely entirely on the kindness of the people and the Republic for financial support, this has been the prime limiting factor in the number of ships that the Fleet can support.

At the moment, the fleet consists of some one hundred and fifty ships of varying size and purpose. From transport ships to line cruisers, the Fleet is a motley collection of almost anything under the sun. It’s not pretty nor is it militarily precise, but it is both effective and highly adaptive, and it’s rag-tag crews have proven to be incredibly tenacious and dedicated, which easily compensates for their ships’ myriad weaknesses.
