The Gift Horse, Denon, Indy Space, 2245 Hours

The crew of the Grim Grave had just came in for a pit stop. They were on the road for some time and needed a load off, Captain Granger had asked Gunner to join him for a quick meeting. The Nautolan had no idea what the man had wanted, but it could only be really good or really bad. As the blue skinned aquatic man entered the room he would lay eyes on where Captain Granger had been sitting. Then,he would make his way over and sit with him.

"So what's the occasion boss?" Gunner asked, "Gotta be something good." Captain Granger just took a sip from his drink as he leaned back in the rounded booth they were in and then replied, "Well my boy, you'll find out soon enough." Gunner was only left with his thoughts at that point, it was not something he had hoped to hear but he had to keep his mind clear of anything negative. He hasn't failed any tasks or been a burden. So what was this about?

"Captain Granger! Good to see you old friend!" A voice came from the side, it was a short rounded man, with blonde hair and patchy beard. From the looks of it he was probably the owner of the bar. "How are ya enjoying the drink there?" "It'll do. You got what we came for?" Captain Granger replied quickly, "Well of course but business can wait, let's relax a bit yea?" Who did this guy think he was? Oh well, Captain knows what he's doing. Gunner leaned forward and rested his forearms on the table as he waited for the rest of this conversation.

Yana found herself on Denon tasked with some dull errand a Sith back on Yavin wanted her to run. Something about an old Galatic Civil War relic. Nothing big or significant and likely just a fetch quest to see if she'd get killed doing even the most basic of tasks. But that didn't stop her from having a little fun. After all, what better hub for information than a cantina?

A few hours and drinks in, Yana had already become friendly with The Gift Horse's Bartender, so when she saw him call out to the duo, she knew they must have some cred in this place. Sure, information on her task would be helpful, but she would need to get a feel for them first. Best case, she's one step closer; worse case, just some company to chat with. That was one thing she missed about her life before training, all the denizens that would readily chat with strangers.

Sauntering over, the Twi'lek leaned against the table. She dressed and held herself just as any merc would, with the only indicator of her being a sith acolyte being the lightsaber at her hip.

"Evening, gents, I haven't seen your faces around; names Yana. I'm not intruding on anything too important, am I?" A coy grin was given to the pair as if almost asking for an invitation to join them for a seat.

Gunner had gotten excited for the business about to commence, and see how Captain Granger handled it. This was the first time he had gotten this opportunity so the idea of it being squandered would be fairly devastating to him. "Alright, good news and bad news. Which do you wanna hear first?" The man asked Captain Granger, "I'll take the bad news first." Granger replied. The bearded man would sigh and then nod, "Okay well, you remember the Twins right?" Granger looked at him in a curious look, "Yea they were sposed to meet us out by Kiffu in a few days time."

The bearded man knocked on the table and continued,
"Well they got caught and offed by some Imps out by Malastare not long ago." A sudden shift of a relaxed lean back by Captain Granger became an intense forward lean on the table, "Fuck.. they had the crew we needed for that job.." The bearded man would speak in a slightly happier tone, "Well the good news is-" Then a femnine voice filled the air over the bearded man.

Gunner immediately turned his head over to her in a bit of an annoyed looked before speaking up,
"Don't worry boss I'll handle it." Granger just nodded to Gunner as the Nautolan stood up and nodded to another table as he walked over there and sat in the lifted chair. He looked the girl in her eyes as he spike up, "Name.. business.."

An amused chuckle escaped from the acolyte's lips. It seemed she was indeed interrupting something, but the nautolan still appeared open to talking, despite his annoyance. A win in her books as her brazen interjection could have started a brawl back on Nal Hutta.

Strolling behind him, Yana took her seat and kept a slightly dopey grin as she met his gaze. "So you're the underling of the two, huh? Well, as I was saying before, the name is Yana. As for business, I'm doing a bit of urban treasure hunting..." The young twi'lek trailed off as if she were about to say more before her eye's shifted to the captain and then back to the man before her.

"I couldn't help but overhear you had a bit of an imp problem, so maybe we can scratch each other's backs if you catch my drift." She raises her hand toward a glass being delivered and utilizes her telekinesis to put it in front of him. "Don't worry; I'll cover the tab. But I'm specifically looking for a Holocron, and it seems you and your boss are well connected."
