Raxus, a planet that serves under the Sith Order. The day was clear enough and the people were enjoying life as they usually have. Walking towards the Capital building was the Sith Marauder Xeno, clad in his new attire. He was making his way to meet what would be his new apprentice, Alzrack Sezren. The acolyte showed great promise to the Sith, and needed someone to look over his future training. Xeno was interested in what the acolyte had to offer and would take him under his wing. The future of the Sith would be the younger ones rising up. The Zabrak knew he would be a good teacher if he used the teachings of his master with the young acolyte.

There would be other Sith awaiting the arrival of the Zabrak Marauder, but first he would encounter his apprentice. Today would be a training day fro the acolyte. Xeno planned for his newfound apprentice to have a spar with someone of his skill level. If he could not find someone then he himself would spar the apprentice. For now though, the plan is to allow the young Sith to experience combat.

A security detail would follow the Marauder as he made his way through the building. He did not require it, but it was how the Sith operated. Protecting their own was common, but not required however. The reason for Xeno's security detail would be that he is an honored warrior for the Sith, as he helped invade Taris, and allowed for multiple political connections to the Sith to be made as well as brought the TIE back into production for Sith troops with his equal Artorigas.

Finally the Marauder had arrived to the room of which his apprentice awaited him.

"My young apprentice.. I hope you are ready for this training session."

Alzrack had now found himself on Raxus, he had been here a few days awaiting what was to be his new master. For the time being he stood leaned against the wall of a room he was to wait in until he arrived. He was sitting in silence for what felt like an eternity the room bland and uninteresting to the young Sith.

He hadn’t been around the order more than 2 years but he had his fair look at aspects he enjoyed and hated all the same. But he would never express this openly, he didn’t feel the need to, and who would care? No one he knew or even cared to know. At the end of the day he would dread everything until he found work to be done the spear tip of boredom cut deep and was unbearable to him. But finally the master had shown himself along with a security force..... how interesting Alzrack thought to himself.

He was soon addressed by the higher Sith and Alzrack stood upright and have a small respectful bow and spoke back accordingly. “Whatever you command shall be done my master, you need only give the word.” He then stood upright again and looked to his new master for further instruction, at the end of the day as long as he got to stretch his legs and potentially break someone or something.... it would bring a smile to his face.

After the unfortunate demise of his Master, Xu Krig was left in a hostile Empire without protection. The Master/Apprentice hierarchy served both as an educational tool and a sign of vassalage: As long as your master had need of you, you could find some protection within the wolves' den. Now, that protection was lost, and Xu was alone. While he plotted his next moves, he had taken to selling favors and working as a diligent patriot of the Empire. Today was one of the former - he had the distinct honor of helping to train a new Acolyte within the order.

The thought filled him with a rage briefly so intense that it broke his own concentration. He opened his eyes to the room around him, an austere training room littered with the sliced-up parts of training droids. Today, he wore little more than his rebreather and simple, black robes; effective for training, but little else. Xu rose back to his feet, stretching before he took another effort in the bland room. He closed his eyes and readied his lightsaber, walking through the basic stances and strikes once more.
Step back, blade up, feel the enemy, step forward... The training droid landed a blast on him, singing his gray skin. He struck it down instantly.

It was enough practice. He made his way to the room where he was set to meet Xeno, one of the great invaders of Taris, and his new apprentice. Once outside, he rasped his knuckles on the door before entering. The unmistakable presence of two Sith was just beyond the door; he was in the right place.
"I trust I am not interrupting." He stepped in and offers a curt bow, hands never leaving his hips. The pair were there, and certainly seemed threating. The master was a hulking warrior, cruelty and rage billowed off of him through the Force like smoke. He turned his attention first to this one. "Xeno Brogroo, we have not yet had the opportunity to meet in person. I am Xu Krig - I have heard word of your deeds on Taris. Your power must be quite formidable." He narrows his eyes and looks towards Alzrack. "I hope you have shared some of this power with your apprentice, for his sake. This will not be an easy test."

Raxus, a jewel set within Sith space if there ever was one.

Soaring several kilometers above the surface, Jaikus couldn't help but find himself admiring the autumnal landscape from the cockpit of his BD-626 Starblade Starfighter on such a clear day. In many ways, he was envious of those who called the planet home, for its paradisal vistas and thriving, elegant cityscapes admittedly put the urban monstrosity of his homeworld to shame. Indeed, aside from the heavy military presence entrenched on the planet, it was far from what one would consider a stereotypical world conquered by the Sith. It’s acquisition had been a peaceful thing after all, allowing life to continue uninterrupted as it had for nearly a century. Entirely unlike planets such as Taris or Vandyne, whos resistance had been the cause of so much bloodshed.

Landing his starfighter in one of the bustling starports at the heart of Raxulon, Jaikus exited his ship and started to make his way towards the capital building where he was suppose to rendezvous with his fellow Sith. Truth be told, it was somewhat uncharacteristic of Jaikus to participate in such an exercise as Xeno had requested of him. The Axxilan Sith was often at his best when working alone, and by nature he preferred to occupy his time by studying some stolen artifact or ancient piece of Sith lore. Still, isolation was seldom productive, and building legitimate connections to his peers within the order could be useful in achieving his ambitions later down the line. If it meant having to spar with an acolyte or two in the meantime, so be it.

Eventually the Axxilan made his way into the room where Xeno, Alzrack and Xi Krig awaited him, greeting the trio with a curt bow of his head. Unsurprisingly, the Sith had prepared for a fight, dressed in his standard Marauder armor and dark cloak with his lightsaber secured to his waist. For now however, the mask that usually shielded his features had been removed and his hood was pulled down – allowing the acolyte to get a good look at the individual who he was going to be fighting.

“Gentlemen.”

"Good. Then I hope you don't mind that I have invited a couple peers of mine to test your strengths and expose your weaknesses. This is the only way to better your abilities of course."

The Zabrak then heard the door open behind him. He felt out with the force to feel if the presence was known but it was not familiar to him. The Order must have sent someone fairly new. Nonetheless, Xeno would turn back to see the Sith who entered. The knew of Xeno. The attack on Taris. Clearly the others had hyped up his story, Xeno had only taken down one Jedi, and in the process he was taken out of the fight as well. Though he was sure it was far more than anything this Sith has done for the Order.

"Welcome Xu Krig. This is my apprentice Alzrack. He has skill of his own, I did choose him after all. Still he lacks in what he needs. Please do not make this spar too easy for him. He is my apprentice after all.."

Following the last comment he would look over to his apprentice with a smirk. The training is going to be fun, for Xeno. Before the Zabrak could think to continue a conversation with Xu Krig, a fellow Sith had arrived to the room giving a greeting.

"Relax Jaikus. None of us here are Lords. Yet. The training will commence shortly, the reservations to the training room have been.. postponed a little bit, Lord Occidius has been trying some new techniques in his swordsmanship. It was funny watching the professionals he hired scramble to keep up. For now, we wait. Should be receiving word on the room shortly."

Alzrack looked from his new master to the others that had entered the room...... his mind was underwhelmed. But what was to be expected, he didn’t know anyone here, as well as they weren’t anyone of great interest of him. That is not yet, but he was sure when blades were crossed and strength was put against strength...... he would enjoy the position he found himself in.

Non the less he would play nice for now, after all he didn’t have to like anyone and his blank expression gave up as much of a hint of that. Though he was aware they were all Sith so that meant atleast something. Alzrack finally spoke again to Xeno in a low tone, one of no great enthusiasm, “It doesn’t matter if I mind or not master, the only thing that matters are orders you provide me with, I aim to obey your will......”

Leaning against a near wall once again he looked back to the others, he could feel the force resonate off of them. One thing was for sure he was atleast happy to say none of them was in short supply of power, so he wouldn’t have to worry about feeling too much for the task. He never did like things to be easy, the challenge is what made him feel alive. His gaze shifting every so often to another person in the room, they seemed fixated, and wanting to learn all they could about the others just from his eyes twisted gaze.

“Thinking about training master..... what are the rules of this? I have no clue of you were informed the saber on my belt is not the only weapon on hand nor the only one I use. The force guilds but cold steel doesn’t sound half bad in close quarters....... regardless I’ll wait on your word for how I will fight, helps one to think on their feet in the heat of battle as I’m sure your very knowledgeable at.”

He paused..... taking a short breath in and letting a small sigh of the stale air of the room escape his lips before addressing the other two, tilting his head slightly resting it against the wall he was leaning on. “this is going to be fun, I do love a good spar...... it’s been too long since I’ve had combatants with real footing to call their own...... the lower -training aids- I’ll call them from other worlds get tiresome and can’t even wield a blade let along a saber like a real Sith, so I do hope we can all gain something from this........ training session.” Alzrack then went silent once again and crossed his arms and looked slightly away from the group to space out until the training was ready to start.

Whatever was said next he would listen but his mind seemed to wonder elsewhere until he would be able to stretch himself out in the training that would take place, so he took in the silence for what it was and would simply listen and wait.

A wroth master and a haughty apprentice - a common sight among the Empire. Xu knew he would enjoy this session, the feeling of anger already beginning to bubble off of him and ripple throughout the room. Soon, the apprentice and the Master would know his power.

But until then, he had simply to wait. He had not seen the other Marauder in their ranks before, but his handsome, clean-cut, human appearance told him all that he needed to know. He knew not of the fires of Mustafar; of true struggle; of the Dark Side. Whether or not that was true was of little relevance - Xu's belief in such provided a fine enough point for him to focus his hate.

"Your apprentice has the pride to be a Sith. We shall soon find if he has the power behind it. So many apprentices are little more than paper krayt dragons, no bite behind the roar." He chuckled at his own joke, the laugh mangled in his vocoder by the deep breath he took from his rebreather. "I imagine you do not want the two of us fighting your apprentice at once - lest this training session end with him in half." Perhaps he did want that, though. "I will just ask, rather. What is the nature of our training today, Brother Xeno? Should we expect a standard sparring match?"

Jaikus nodded towards Xeno when he spoke, offering the Zabrak a polite smile whilst shrugging his shoulders slightly. Whether he would actually relax his characteristically proper demeanor remained to be seen.

“He certainly does not lack for confidence, that is to be certain.” Jaikus tilted his head towards the Acolyte after he spoke, a smirk tugging at the corners of the Axxilan’s mouth while sharp citrine eyes bore into him. He said nothing to Alzrack personally, though the glint in his eyes and look on his face betrayed a hint of amusement at what had been said.

It was an admittedly curious situation. Rather than pitching his apprentice against other Acolytes – and there was an abundance of them to be sure - the Zabrak had requested two fully-fledged Marauders for him to spar with. Perhaps Xeno had a wicked sense of humor and intended to put his apprentice through the ringer? Or was there some deeper lesson he intended to inflict upon his apprentice? The Axxilan pondered the thought silently, keeping his hands folded neatly against the small of his back as Xu Krig filled the silence.

The Northern Mustafarian had done Jaikus the courtesy of asking the important questions while they waited, prompting the Marauder to hold his tongue for the moment. For now he would simply observe the exchange between the two, waiting patiently for the training room to clear of its current occupants.

Seems to be that Xeno's apprentice is quick to ask questions. How amusing. The young Acolyte would ask of the rules and weapons and many other valued questions for today's spar. Xeno was glad to know that the apprentice was eager for a fight and confident to back it all up. A good couple reasons to pick him as his student. The Zabrak enjoyed a good fight but there were times to be aggressive and to be diligent. The Marauder Xeno was very well acquainted with those times.

"My young apprentice. You will use your saber for now. I want to see your swordsmanship capabilities. Your first opponent will be that of Xu Krig. To answer all questions here and now, it is starting as a standard sparring match. I will inform you from the control box of when it will change. I want my apprentice on his toes but I do not wish for him to die. If he shows too skilled for the simplistic start.. I will add some difficulty."

A smirk came from Xeno's lips as he would look over to his apprentice. Then he would turn to the data pad on the table in the middle of the room. It had the notification of the training room being open for use. The Zabrak looked up to the other Sith in the room and smiled. It was finally time to see what his apprentice was capable of.

"Brother Xu, please do make your way to the training room with my apprentice. I will be in the control room with Jaikus."

With a nod to his apprentice and Xu Krig, Xeno woud turn to Jaikus and then ask.

"Shall we?"

Alzrack was met with a response from his new master, one he wouldn’t question and he was content. Then hearing what the others in the room had to say about the matter, and about him as well. At the end of the day it didn’t matter what he said to them he was new blood. Anything you past that title pined to his back would have to be ripped off in actions of proof of worth.

“Understood master I thank you for the clarification.” Then looking to Xu, this was to be his first opponent. A blank expression was worn on both their faces, Alzrack understood the situation he was about to be put into, this Sith had hardend themselves like those before them. So it was not to be taken likely no matter how harmless a spar seemed with one who had more experience.

Moments later they were told to make their way to the training room not far from where they were now to ready themselves for the near training. “As you wish master” Then turning and making his way out of the room. Now being met with a hallway, Alzrack keeps a slow but steady pace not being too far from Xu. But still his gaze wandered about the hall, dull but still held value with various names of the past legends of their order as well as lessons one would not forget at any level of Sith. The only sound heard would that be of his boots on the floor.

Soon they found themselves at the entrance of the training room. On opening the door a few people came out all bearing some sort of injury. No doubt the people that were training before Alzrack had arrived. But he paid them no mind and entered getting space away from Xu, training or not he wouldn’t trust a single thing he was not certain of. Right now he was only certain today would not be easy.

He looked to Xu again, winning was not in his favor non the less that was his goal, his blank star still sizing up his opponent, wondering what his first move would be. Looking up a few moments later his master pulled him from his thoughts as he spoke over the intercom. Alzrack would at this time remove any other weapon he had on his person into a crate near by, moving training aids here and there to ensure nothing would get in the way unless his master wanted it to do so.

Now speaking to Xu and giving a slight nod of respect he spoke “You honor me for this opportunity, ill repay this by letting my actions speak for me as we engage one another.” Now falling silent he readjusted his tattered robes and readied for his next instruction.

Xu regarded his opponent, briefly. His cold, yellow eyes narrowed to a point as he searched across the room. He needed a sense of the space - both its physical constraints and the spiritual energy that resided within. This was a Sith training hall, a place of bloodletting, rage, and cruelty. This cruel history could form like a spirit within the Force, Xu reasoned, to bestow the blessing of power on a worthy combatant. The Dark Side would find a champion today.

He used a flourish of the force to cast off his heavier robes, revealing a form-fitting black training suit that connected to his vocoder. The robes gently floated to the floor, forming a crescent around his feet, as Xu raised his right hand to pontificate. "The honor is not mine to take, Acolyte. Our work here today honors only the will of the Force." On his belt rested only his double-bladed lightsaber. After the robes dropped, the black hilt of the blade slowly, dramatically, floated into his right hand. "And in our coming battle, do not let such concepts distract you from what must be done." He ignited one end of the blade, pointing it in the direction of his opponent. "Your master is not in the room to referee this battle. We begin as the Sith of old would begin any duel of honor, by touching blades." A chuckle emanated from his vocoder, deep and scratchy. "Your master is not here to save either of us. Do not underestimate me, nor will I underestimate you. It would be a fatal mistake."

His stance was wide, his long arms and longer lightsaber blade casting a distended shadow across the back of the room. "At your leisure, Acolyte. I shall spare you any more lectures until this trial is completed." His legs were as a lothwolf's staking its prey, nearly shaking with tension and anticipation.
