Honoghr was their destiny, a planet in the Empire borders. There was an imperial known as Lieutenant Gregory Renald, which made contact with the Rebels soon after General Pearot's transmission, Renald was willing to defect to rebel’s side, so the General made sure that wasn’t a trap, happily they discovered that wasn’t, soothe rebel leader dispatched a small team of rebels to do that mission. They should pass through the Hutt Space and reach in the Empire border, there they should enter Honoghr, without being discovered, then locate the outpost where Renald should arrive in an imperial’s convoy and finally take off from that planet with the ex-imperial. Everything should be done quietly and sneakily, at least as much as they could.

Gremont was in that mission, together with his partner, the pilot Forim Viridux, a duros that already was in a mission with him, as well as with the rebel Torvac Shalon, a Shistavanen which Gremont didn’t knew well, yet he heard that this one was very angry against the Imperials. The Duros Rebel was piloting his ship, while Torvac and Gremont were sitting in the back.

During the journey, Gremont said to Torvac “So partner, how you’re feeling about meet the imperials again? It was a long time since the last time that I shot some…” Gremont recalled his time in the Galactic Alliance and his battles in many worlds against the imperials, really that was a good time for someone that loves the battlefield. For sure that was a precious opportunity to go against the imperials, however Gremont knew the nature of their mission and his main objective, therefore his thirst for imperial’s blood would have to wait, at least for a while.

After his short talk with Torvac he directed his words for his partner Forim “It’s nice to be in another mission with you Forim, I hope that we can enter in that planet and get out unnoticed by the imperials and I’m sure that you’re capable of it, partner! So what’s your plan about the insertion and extraction?”

Sair was stationed on a planet as forsaken as himself, with a big history, much like himself, even though he knew fairly little about that of the planet. His suit and arms were well polished and his act was top notch. He was stationed at a base where he was to investigate in a matter of a possible defect. He did not know why anyone was being suspected, he was just sent there to find if any of the suspicions or rumors were true and if they were - to carry out a fitting verdict.

Luckily for him there were only a handful of humans, so his investigation wouldn't take too long, after all Honoghr was the noghri planet and they still inhabited it. They were the guards in the base, every single one was a noghri, anyone who had a weapon was a noghri, perhaps aside from Sair himself and the Lieutenant, who was currently in charge of the base, due to the absence of a higher ranking officer. With the Empire stretched out across the galaxy it was quite hard to keep only top ranking officers in command, after all Sair was just a corporal and he had been assigned to a very important mission. Of course, everyone else though he was just doing a regular inspection and he acted like it, but his eyes were open.

Aside from the mentioned Lieutenant there were about twenty technicians in the base, as well as five teams of four engineers. All of them were of origin different from noghri. The imperial soldier knew well enough not to suspect the noghri, but also was aware that aside from that he was pretty much clueless as to who the possible defector may be. The Lieutenant took him around the base, introducing him to everyone, even the noghri... this man had a remarkable memory for names... finally Sair was left alone in his room. He thought about reporting in, but realized that if he did it might raise suspicion, after all inspection officers weren't known for their strict appreciation of rules, which Besand disliked to a great deal, but decided that the part required it and hence couldn't risk being discovered. At least not for something so small...

After several hours of not being able to put his thoughts together, because the fact that he hadn't reported in was lingering in his mind and torturing him on the inside, he finally decided to send a message describing the situation... it was no good, he would never fit the role of an inspector, they had no discipline...

Torvac sat quietly aboard the ship, not mentioning a word to anyone as he boarded and merely gazed out the port window on their way to Honoghr. He was unfamiliar with anyone aboard the ship, but knew that in order to achieve his ultimate goal of extinguishing the Imperials from their holes he needed strong ties with the Rebel Alliance, so in turn he gladly volunteered for the first priority mission that came up. Unfortunately, it was more of a rescue mission than anything else. Apparently an Imperial Officer by the name of Gregory Renald wanted to defect to the Rebellion, a move in which Torvac thought to be highly suspect, but none the less the mission came straight from the high command. So, assuming the higher-ups did their homework, this man was to be legit, but it wouldn't stop Torvac from shedding the blood of any Imperial soldier that got in his way. He would make this trip worth while some how, after all.

His momentary thoughts of spreading chaos throughout the Empire were quashed once the man across from began talking to him.

"So partner, how are you feeling about meeting the Imperials again?"

Turning his head slightly to acknowledge the man and answer his question, his glowing amber hues centered on his eyes as he replied, "How do I feel? Can't you tell? I'm simply gitty with anticipation."

His voice turned to a low, mumbling growl.

"The real question is, how are they going to feel when they meet me again?"

He then began balling up his hand into a fist until each of his knuckles started to pop. The ship could not arrive any sooner, and although he was unsure of what the plan was once they reached the surface, he knew that killing would definitely be a requirement; one that Torvac would be more than happy to fulfill.

As far as risky missions go this one was a winner in Forim's opinion. He shook his head while flying an old small freighter, nearing the surface of Honoghr. Apparnty the higher-ups in the Rebellion had come to trust the word of an Imperial officer, claiming that he wants to defect. As far Forim was concerned no Imperial should be ever trusted, considering how they aided the Sith Order in slaughtering and subjecting the galaxy, they just as guilty as their twisted masters. Still the scumbag had intel vital to this sector that can't be passed up, so now Forim swallowed his disgust and listen intently to his partners chat in the back.

Forim was glad to have the human, Gemront along. Because one he is a veteran solider that knows his trade and two he is a good friend who can be honest regardless wether you want him to be or not and yet encouraging to boost you back up. In the young pilot's opinion that is something really needed more in this mess-up galaxy. Now the Shistanvanen, Torvac Shalon was an unknown but the fellow, judging by his words and tone seemed very intented on making the Imperials pay. Deep down Forim Viridux agreed with new rebel on that point if noting else.

Forim remained silent for a minute until he finally answered Germont's earlier comments and questions,

"The feeling is mutual man. Don't worry those bootlicking slemos won't detect us for now...though getting an officer out will undoubtedly draw attention later."

The Duros shudder at the thought if they failed this mission and end up in the enemy hands but then he quenched feeling and continue speaking,

"As for the plan all I know is what our briefing said. Which is why you should take the lead on this one Germont, you have more experience on this sort of thing. I'm just a pilot but I'll assist you and Torvac however I can."

When finished the Duros rebel focus back to flying, feeling more at home at manning the flight controls than planning strategy. Then they reached Honoghr's surface and shortly landed in well-hidden spot in a canyon near the route of the defector's convey.

It wasn't long before there was a knock on his door. The corporal jumped from his bed. He had not even taken off his armor. Sleep had not come to him, it rarely did during missions. He walked to the door and opened it, the light that shone inside revealed that the armor had been polished as well as the weapons that were leaned on the wall behind the stormtrooper. It was the lieutenant who had dared disturbed the guest of the base with an announcement that he'd be going our for his usual trip, with guards, of course.

For a moment Sair wondered whether he should go with the lieutenant, because he could use a trip, but then he decided that the best time to start investigating into who the defector might be was while the leader was gone and he could oppress the personnel without being told off about it. It was a perfect opportunity. Still, he could not disregard the possibility, however unlikely it was, that the lieutenant himself was the defector, so he requested constant communiactions link with the guards.

The lieutenant made the arrangements and was then off to his trip. He hoped to be leaving the blasted base for the last time, but he really didn't know when he was going to be broken out, so every time he got in the vehicle he sat in the middle, as it was the best protected position. is guards thought it was a habit of his and disregarded it... rather foolish, but then again who would suspect a lieutenant. The first half of the trip went rather slow and dull. There were a total of four guards accompanying the defector and they were constantly reporting to Sair. The vehicle approached a cannon and one of the guards took a moment to gaze at it... not knowing what was hidden within.

Gremont knew that they were waiting on him to lead the mission, then while Forim replied, he just nodded and took a sit near Torvac and said “Partners, I must say that this is the first time in ten years that I’ll face an imperial again, and I can’t lie saying that I’m not mad to kill all of them, but we need focus and just do what we need do” then looking to Torvac he said “We are together man, make sure that you will have some Imperial’s blood in your hands”

Standing up again while Forim landed the ship in a canyon, Gremont exposed his plan “We’re just at fifteen kilometers at east from the outpost that the subject is heading and nine kilometers at southeast from our target probably position, where is the road that lead to the outpost and our meeting point as well. We need arrive there in no more than thirty minutes and prepare the field”

Gremont prepared his MCU MK II shogun variant, taking explosives and grenades, as well as his DLT-20A blaster rifle on his hand, then he continued “We will proceed in a simple way: identification of the subject, explosive approach, fast and precise shots - one shot one kill – take the subject and quicly get out of there. So let me explain the details: first we will split into two teams, Torvac will go with Forim, in the ambush team.”

Taking a set of explosives Gremont explained “I’ll do the frontal attack, placing these explosives on the road and in the exactly moment of their arrival I’ll explode their vehicle, for sure that will not kill them, but certainly will knock them out of their vehicle, then I will open fire in a covered spot, killing the most that I can, and you two will ambush anyone trying to run or communicate the central. For sure the subject will be in a different dress, allowing that we not kill him by mistake. After we extract the subject in our ship”

Looking to Forim, Gremont finished “As well as probably we will have an air counterattack, so make sure to be prepared”

Gremont walked to the exit of the ship saying “If you have questions and suggestions, please make them on the route, because we must hurry. Now get prepared, take everything you need and let’s kick some imperial’s ass” in few minutes they should arrive at the meeting point and prepare the field.
