The Great Sticky Massacre of 2010

As you guys know, the factions have been criticized lately by some members, particularly new ones. Some of the criticism is just whining, but some of it is justified.

One thing that a few people mentioned was that the faction boards are confusing and a bit hard to navigate. Taking a look at them, I tend to agree with this. There are a lot of sticky threads that are all over the place, and no clear structure as to how to sign up. Yes there is a sign up thread and master request threads, etc., but if you don’t really know where you’re going then that can be confusing. This is what I aim to try and fix.

I’ve dubbed this the “Great Sticky Massacre of 2010” because the major goal is sticky thread consolidation so people, particularly new members, don't feel overwhelmed. I’d also like to add some boards as necessary.

I’m going to speak with each faction leader about this and get the boards squared away, and I’m only going to do one at a time. I have written up an organizational plan for each faction board, so I’ll be sharing that plan with the corresponding faction leader.

This is the order in which I’m going to talk to you guys:

1. Ruukil—since I’ve already been working with you on this anyway, it makes sense to continue on.
2. Sheo
3. Kaeb
4. Hakim​

I wouldn't mind the ability to create a few boards for the bogan. I've actually been concerned with the number of stickies I have in just one single place, not all of them completely relevant to the bogan themselves in their entirety, such as the slaver faction, or the timeline updates for the bogan and what they're doing et cet.

Well I haven't received any complaints but I'm up for tweaking the faction's layout.

There's not much that will need tweaking with yours, but there are a few things that I'd like to see tweaked a bit that I'll talk to you about.

Reorganized the Dark Jedi Holocrons board along with the approval and sign up threads to make it easier to have the process of character approval and character training sign ups done.

It's a start, but I still wrote up a way to significantly cut down on the clutter in the Dark Jedi board, because right now it's really cluttered.
