So things are going to get mildly spotty over the next 6 weeks for me as I execute my great escape from the desert and make an idiotically long journey across Australia to my parent's house for a few weeks, then another not-inconsiderable journey to my wife and my new home in Geelong.

Here's the snapshot.

Packing
Nov 25-Dec 4This period is reserve for a shitload of packing boxes and stuff.
December 4On this day, I ship all my worldly belongings to a holding yard in melbourne, and send my dogs on a plane to Sydney.
December 8-12This week I'm in the house on my own, mostly cleaning and stuff. I'll have unlimited access to the internet at this stage.
The Roadtrip
December 16-24

Yeah… that about covers that time period.
The other Stuff
Dec 25-Jan 4During this time period I'll be hanging out with family, kayaking, camping, etc. I'll have access, but probably not the free time to sit down and really go hell-for-leather on posting. Expect limited availability.
Geelong

Jan 5 is D-Day, when my wife and I should travel down to our new house in Geelong. We'll be unpacking, etc, etc. You guys know how it is.

Also worth noting is that Geelong is nearly 700 miles away from Sydney, so thats another day dedicated to driving somewhere.
Jan 5-Jan 22During this period we're hoping to be settling in and organising all the important stuff; electricity bills, water bills, gas bills, and of course… internet.

While I have my phone and have more than ample data to tether it, posting will still be limited because i'll be busy job hunting, getting to know the area, and getting dumplings with Marf. :D

So thats my 6 weeks.
After that, I should be back to being all yours.

Port Augusta looks like a good ambush point. Thanks, Cassa!

Though I do hope your trip goes smoothly.

Looks daunting. Stay safe on your trip man! Tell Marf I said hi, and to send a couple of your leftover dumplings to the States! D:

Wait people in Australia drive cars? This is awkward. I assumed kangaroos were involved..

Why would he do that? A ****ing drop bear might get him. Cars are the best defense against the deadly drop bear.

And on a side note:

A ****ing diagram? Seriously?

Well...it goes back to the old Cassa saying of "If you can't post it pretty, don't post it at all".

This is not true. Vegemite under your eyes, and urine on your hands is.
