PERSONALITY

Well regarded as the typical hard and difficult sergeant type, Vash is often sought out to be a determined soldier who displays discipline and loyalty to the Empire. Though in truth he seems to have less enthusiasm since his long career throughout the military. He is a pessimist to all things around him, holding the belief that everything that is not your friend is there to kill you. Further enhancing this idea, he trusts no one. Being overly cautious of people's intentions. To that, there is a sense of paranoia radiating from him but not without good reason. However, he is seemingly a different person once earning his hard earned trust.

He is seen to be less restricted and is more charismatic around fellow allies and friends. Even going as far as to throw in a joke or two to help lighten the mood. As a noncommissioned officer, he takes full responsibility for all his subordinates under his direct command. Making sure that their wellbeing is intact and that he leaves no man behind. Less so to all those not known.

He is always making up several plans and backup plans for every situation he manages to find himself in regardless of the danger. He is also known to be quick and decisive, allowing himself to make the first move before anyone else has the slightest chance. This is substantially supported by his idea of survival first, fighting second style of combat. He is resentful of those who betray him and will be compelled to do sinister things if he is put into a position where chooses the lesser of two evils for the sake of the greater good.

But once you get to know him he is overall a pretty good guy to be around with. Especially when he buys you a drink.
