Lol - they are twins, does that count as psychic? ;)

Seriously though, Allard gave them the order to be ready at their stations ("Keep the lights on") to fire before anyone engaged in combat and gave the target ("Masked karker!") before he was pulled. So they'd be ready and have the target by the time Allard was coming out of his roll forward to fire.

The second cannon shot I could see being no issue as it would come after the rest of the attacks.

I mean, the ship only recently landed into what it knew to be hostile territory as it was a slaver camp they just attacked. But alright, I'll concede the point on that

I'm just saying they wouldn't be perfectly synchronized because Allard would have to fire first to indicate "we are firing now"

Anyway it's a nonissue because Orbit edited to fix the timing.

Thanks for the clarification, all.

She's been through very limited exposure to how to actually manipulate and use the Force with a Sith friend and an Indie, so yes she would be very drained at the end of this, significantly more so than someone who actually learned how to do this from a young age, and I'll agree with your point. I was just not clear on how the rules worked so far. I agree with that point.

The edit looks fine to me!

I think I need to start a tally for my characters being dangerously close to explosive blasts.

Thanks guys.

Hey, I'm sorry @Herrith, but I'm going to have to contest that post. Accidentally stumbling out of the way of a lethal attack that you didn't see coming is a "defense of convenience," which is classified as metagaming. That's not really a valid defense. And that's not to mention the fact that per Orbit's post, the attack is landing while you're Force pushing, so there's not time for you to stumble back four steps

If you disagree, I'd be more than happy to report it since I don't really want to argue, but I'm fairly confident that canon shot would kill her or at a minimum blow her legs off and knock her out.

I meant that as backing away from the Sith that was currently approaching, but seeing as it is still technically accidental, I'll take the hit.

Alright, it'll be edited. I won't argue it and cause a heap of trouble.

Because this timing got confusing, I'm writing a preemptive OOC post to clarify things:

  • Second 1: Everyone staring at each other
  • Second 1.5: Tavek and Eternal ignite sabers and start moving
  • Second 2: Herrith, Allard, and ship fire; Tavek and Eternal continue to move
  • Second 3: Shots reach Tavek and Eternal (blasters travel at ~35m/s, because of the distances we’re using, I’m just saying it takes a second to reach because it’s easier than having to break down into quarters and eighths of seconds):
    1. Tavek deflects one shot and uses speed to evade the others, intends to continue movements to close with Herrith and slash in second 4
    2. Eternal deflects shots
    3. Allard aims and fires at Tavek
    4. Herrith continues to choke and finishes firing
  • Second 4:
1.Canon shot reaches Herrith; Herrith dies
    2. Gunshots reach Tavek
    3. Tavek continues to run forward (as that was what he was doing, and can’t backtrack) but the shots reach him and he deflects with free saber. He opts not to continue forward at this point
    4. Eternal grips Allard
