[We have got to write less in these combat segments, feels weird as we ret con each other when we write our counters lol]
Khivas was nearly to the top when he witnessed the carnage he had just unleashed, and even though he couldn't fully save Jaleer, he might have bought him a few crucial seconds to save his skin, barring the giant Wookie still somehow putting up a fight despite, well, nothing much actually.
The bastard hadn't taken too much punishment from the rocket, and his own momentum, while it did throw him off, didn't end him nearly as bad as Khivas thought it would, but alas, every plan had a back up, and when the Wookie drove the other half of his blade through the elevator shaft, the second delay between pressing a button would prove to a deciding factor for Khivas.
Turning the wrist was a second, a second Khivas used to initiate his thrust. Pressing the button, a move Khivas was familiar with (the amount of Jedi Hunters he encountered were many, and so were their tricks), another second spent, which Khivas bought up his Phrikk protected gauntlets, the technique he was prepared against thanks to Force Sight and a truly advanced scanner ripped from a Mandolorian's beskar'gam.
The last second is where the game changed for the Wookie, the blade starting to elongate, and Khivas' left arm gliding along the bright burning blade of blood red, pushing outward as it pushed the blade away, a "use" of the gauntlets' protective properties well spent.
From here, the Knight's saber would continue it's attack path, stabbing forth into the wookie's foot and slicing up through his knee and thigh, possibly severing the leg.
From there, should the leg sever, the Sith Warrior would fall, and upon falling he would find a simple twist and contortion of Khivas' wrist would slice apart the remaining body.
Should it occur, that is.
