It was a very nice monday morning on the planet Indupar, Taruna decided. She was on tone of the secured training grounds quite close to the Jedi Save house and just finished the warm up training by running here. It was warm enough anyways. Wearing her usual training attire, a lightsaber resistant black sharashi and her black training pants, today accompanied with a pair of black boots, some black gloves and her good ol' (you guess it..) black utility belt with her lightsabers dangling from them, the Jedi looked up at the rising sun and remembered the forecast.. all sunshine and sweet twenty degrees celsius all day. A perfect day for training.

The training ground was a big circle, about twenty meters in diameter and consisted of hardened earth, making falling onto the ground a tad softer, but not too soft, making this training a good and special one. The Knight received a strange training request from one of her friends and was quite surprised to hear that he was not allowed to land on the SOV Galactic Evolution. But alas, he shared a Vision with her and thus could not be a bad person, so she decided to train him here on this planet. Some security measures were always in place around here so she would not have to worry about intruders.

As she was a little early, and already warmed up sufficiently, she placed herself into the middle of the circle, sat down and began to meditate y floating a few centimeters above the ground. A trick she already did, but her friend Dawn taught her to do so willingly. She would know when he arrived and then stand up to face him once he arrived.

Kenshin had arrived at the system earlier to get a view and feel of the planet, making sure that he wasn't followed and that the planet in question was still safe. Once he deemed it safe he made his way down to a safe landing zone and set up for a bit of a stay, taking time to note the location of where he was going. When the day came, he headed out towards the location where he was to meet his instructor. When he had requested some training from his clan mate he was a bit discouraged that he wouldn't be able to train him any as he was busy dealing with the war he had kicked off. For that Kenshin couldn't have blamed him any, even the part where he couldn't come see their new ships. If the roles had been reversed Kenshin would have done the same. It is what a sensible warrior would do. When he heard who his teacher was going to be, it did make him feel a bit better. It was that Chiss he met in her own vision, and well he couldn't complain a bit. At least he would be betting some training.

As a mando he felt every weapon he used and carried regularly should be second nature, no thoughts on how to make them work and do what he needed them to do. That couldn't be said for the Force and his lightsabers, to an extent. So he was glad to be working on making them fully part of his arsenal again. Glad to be off the ships for a while and to get ready for the days training, Kenshin wore his full kit: Full beskar'gam, his armored Kama, his armored pauldrons, all of his weapons, and lunch and water for later. With him came his Wolf, Shida who had been trapped for too long on the ship for too long, wearing her own armor. Together they headed off towards the area Kenshin was to meet his trainer.

He arrived a bit early but not as early as Taruna it seemed. Kenshin had kept himself in shape by doing runs around the decks of the Bes'kad but it was never as good as doing a good long run on a planet. Already by the way Shida moved he could tell that she was enjoying running as well as she would duck off to the sides to work on her hunting. This went on for a good distance until could see the clearing up ahead and called his wolf back to him, "Oi, Shida fall in." So the wolf did as they entered into the clearing, there sat the Chiss, clearly meditating waiting for him. He gave his wolf a hand signal and she trotted of silently towards the shade before laying down watching silently like Mandalorian Wolves tended to do. Walked near to the wolf and took of his pack and laid down most of his weapons before heading towards his instructor, removing his helmet and holding it. "Greetings Taruna, it has been far too long." He held out his arm for the traditional Mandalorian arm shake. "A fine a day you have chosen, I hope it isn't a bother to have you here training myself."

Smiling with a open smile she responded to the mandalorian greeting with the proper response and answered truthfully "it certainly is not a bother, it is too long since I offered training lessons in fresh air. I am curious, tho.. How comes you requested training from the Jedi. As I understood it this is rather rare and although we would never say no to train our allies I sense some gossip there. If you determine this is nothing I should know about, pleaase do not hesitate to say so. We arre allies, not martied. You are entitled to your secrets and I will not let that affect the promise and my pleasure to train with you."

Kenshin smiled as she returned the greeting. He could see her smile and listened to her question as he popped the seal on his armor and removed his helmet before tossing it by his other gear and Shida. "Indeed it is rare, but I came because the war has started anew and I have for too long not been able to train myself to use everything at my disposal. Sadly to say there are few if any who are left who could train me from my own people." he stretched out his muscles as he continued, "Not since I was a padawan on the run have I had any real training. Just as you practice and drill with a rifle or hand to hand you must train and drill with the Force. Besides the fact that I need training, Master Orlaan Ghest is adopted into my clan so I figured this wold be the best place to refresh and retrain."

"Okay, then. I suppose we can get started then," she answered with a nod, now that her curiosity have been satisfied "What would you like to focus on? Some refreshing of the basics or would you prefer more advanced training?"

To her opinion, this guy did not make the impression that he had to learn how to meditate or lift some pebbles

Kenshin nodded in return and spoke, "Let us start with some applied basics and roll right into the more advanced stuff." Kenshin, while not needed to remember all the old stuff, did find himself that he should warm up first before fully getting back into the saddle as it were. It had been a bit since he did any training and wanted to make sure he still had it.

The Chiss' face got a greater grin which also showed in her eyes in a mischievous manner "Well then, one time Jedi standard warmup" she spoke up and began to stretch a little "A little run, some telekinesis training, two rounds of a skill of your choice and a little sparring match to round up the day. You do have a sparring saber?" she inquired in the last part, looking wit inquisitive red glowing eyes at her sparring partner for the day

Kenshin smirks as he sees her mischievous grin. The regimen selected for the day seemed only fair, he wouldn't let her get the best of him so soon. After all he was a bit handicapped running in full kit. However he wouldn't take it off unless he had too, chances are in battle he would be wearing it all anyways. So he finished his stretches and summoned his helmet back over from his pile of gear using the force, visualizing it sailing back towards his hand as he wraps it in the force and brings it back into his hand. Sealing it and hearing the hiss as the environmental systems sealed his suit and began pumping cool air through the suit regulating his heat. he turned on his speaker and spoke first to his lovely teacher, "I am always down for a good run, and the rest sounds just perfect to get back into the saddle as it were. As for the saber, sadly I only have my two real ones." He then turns his head towards his wolf and calls her over, "Oi, Shida." The wolf perks up and trots over to the two, sniffing the Jedi as she silently pads around, satisfied that the female is okay returns to her masters side. "You don't mind if the wolf runs with us do you? She loves to hunt and has been stuck aboard our ship for too long. I promise she wont be a bother."

She smiled at him and then the Wolf with a amused look before answering "I really see no reason why your friend could not run with us, but the later training the wolf needs to take a raincheck. I am sure there's plenty of things in these woods interesting for it. And as far as we know there are no dangerous animals that could pose a threat to it either... at least none that wouldn't be clearly obvious."

As she was done with stretching and already felt like they stood around there for weeks, she pointed at the huge wooden tower made for climbing training a few miles away and spoke "First one up there will be the winner." and then, without any warning, zoomed off in Force-imbued speed, but not too much at the beginning to not lose the training partner. Also, she had to give him a fighting chance so she would only attempt to be a very little bit faster to inspire him. That was, if he would not surprise her by zooming away himself. Taruna was not as arrogant to think she's the fastest around, but her speed was one of her biggest strengths.

Kenshin had smiled as she darted off, both at her words and her actions. He knew he wouldn't beable to out pace her in his armor. It would slow him down, but it also meant he could probably out pace her if he removed it. However, he was here to train so it stayed. He called out to his wolf, "Shida, Oya'karir." Like that the wolf dashed off towards the trail and into the bushes. Using the force in one big burst lunged himself to get caught back up. While he wouldn't be able to keep his speed up at this rate it would be more than enough to make up the lost ground. His plates bounced and shifted as he exerted himself through the Force to catch up to his partner for the day.

Having caught up to her he slowed down enough that he was just faster than her, but not so much he would outpace her. Keeping his pace even and making sure not to wear himself out too much, he figured they would have to climb that tower soon enough and didn't want to waste his strength just solely on the run. He could feel his partner behind him as well as see her thanks to his helmet and he knew he would be needed to keep increasing his speed if he was to win this race. So he gradually increased his speed trying to keep just ahead of her towards the top of the tower.

Oh well, this guy really was fast, she realized right away and grinned, as she now had no reason to slow herself down as she planned but gave her best speed. It's really been a while since she met someone who could match her in regards of speed so she enjoyed this race to the fullest.

Arriving at the tower, she used her ability to Jump to make the best of a head start as she could, but eventually it ended in a draw, as they both touched the Flag on top of the tower at the same time. "Well," she spoke a little out of air "Despite your armor you're really a good runner and climber. It's been fun"

He had reached the top at the same time, rather surprised with himself at keeping up with her towards the end. His muscles burned a bit from the exhaustion he put into it but knew it would pass. He removed his helmet and gulped in some air as he panted a bit. Smiling as he responded. "Benefit of training on a capital ship is you can adjust the gravity to meet your needs. Everyone once in a while I would have the gravity increased to push us a bit further. That is not to say you aren't fast yourself. I wasn't sure if my first burst of speed would get me caught up or not. Thought for sure towards the end you would have had me." His panting slowing, he wiped a bit of sweat from his brow and inquired, "So what is next?"

"Well," the knight smiled and looked around "Let's float some things around and then we train two things of your liking, as agreed..." She looked around and saw the wolf in some distance, still catching up. They sure have been fast. But what she looked for was alittle more to the east. A training circle full of shaped boulders in different sizes. Taruma pointed at them and nodded "I suggest we wait for your companion and do a normal jog there, that ok?"

Kenshin grinned some and noticed his wolf, making good time but not as fast as they had moved. Kenshin figured she would be caught up by the time they returned back to the ground. "Sounds good to me, I think it we be a good cool down after that run." He had caught is breath but it would still be good to cool down some before meditating. He noted the location and nodded in agreement, "Sounds like a good plan to me." Kenshin replaced his helmet and heard the click of the seal and the cool air fill the Helmet. While he would think about doing a full jump down and using The Force to Slow his descent and allow him to land, he wasn't about to try it while wearing his full kit just yet, especially after using so much exertion trying to keep up with her in that race they had. Besides, he didn't want to look like a fool, at least not a big one yet.

Kenshin had opted for the stairs, though he did think hard about working his way down the wall. He for now wanted to save his strength for the spar later in the day. He reached the bottom about the same time Shida came into the clearing from the pushes, licking her lips and panting. Clearly glad to be out hunting on a planet with actual things to hunt. He couldn't tell for sure but he figured she had caught a bird at some point on her run. Once she had caught up and he had given her some water form his hydration pack in his armor in a little plastic film bowl pulled from his belt, returning it all back to its place he looked towards Taruna, "I will follow your lead."

Taruna on the other hand of course jumped down, using the Force in careful measured way to sink down like a leave and waited for Kenshin to arrive before jogging ahead.
It was a short jog to the training ground and so she looked at the prepared boulders. To her delight, they were complete and all in different sizes, just as she remembered.

"Easy task. Sort them to a tower with the smallest boulder being the bottom and the largest the top. Do you think you still have it in you to do so?"

Kenshin knew this excessive well from when he was just a padawan himself. Though since that time he hadn't practiced it but knew it would help him make sure his touch with the force was fully complete. So he settled himself down onto the dirt and crossed his legs and focused in on the the rocks scattered around him. Starting first with feeling his surroundings in the Force. Feeling not the rocks but all the things on the rocks at first. Getting their shapes and grasping them with the Force and bringing them in the middle of the circle, first starting with a small stone. Then working his way up. He had a few fall off as he gets used to working with the Force again. Learning again how to handle his connection and picking up and using it to find those balancing points again. It takes Kenshin more time then he wanted but not as long as newer padawan but closer to that of one ready or close to being a knight. He was sweating a bit from the exertion and the speed of the larger boulders made it clear that he was getting tired. Finally done he stood up and kept his eyes on it satisfied that he still could do it.

"Well, that was impressive" the Knight admitted after watching Kenshin doing his work, then she levitated the whole tower, separated the boulders mid air and placed them in a mixed order back at the border of the circle, ready for the next padawan that comes by to train with them. "Aside from the concentration, you're almost Knight level, am I correct in my assumption?"

"I was getting close, but fate conspired against me. I am as surprised as you. I haven't done anything like this in awhile" He said as he watched her nearly effortlessly places the stones back. "I have trained as I can but there are not many trained Force users left in the Mando ranks. That is why I was so happy to find a training partner"

"The Mando are strong" the knight answered with a calm voice that spoke more of facts than any political background thoughts "Their ways and philosophy survived very well without the Force, and that's what I admire the most of them."

Turning around, she looked at the wolf who was already there for a while but lurked around, playing with the wildlife "So.." she spoke before this could turn into a philosophical debate "What's the two things you want to train next?"

Kenshin watched the wolf in his visor, clear that she was fully enjoying her freedom. Hunting the wildlife to some success and some failure. As he watched he contemplated what he wanted to learn. He thought for a bit before deciding on it. "You wouldn't happen to be able to teach me Tutamanis and Force Barrier?"
