Dawn trickled through the morning fog. On the horizon and beyond the gas giant of Al’doleem, the sun rose, blanketing the stars in a canopy of gold. Gray and black shades of the night transformed into a vivid host of colors. Light had come. Darkness surrendered. A new day, with new possibilities, and a new chapter of history yet to be written. Today was a monumental moment for the restored Jedi Order. For in the hidden sanctuary of the Jedi, the first five of Master Leah Reach gathered. With each of them, they possessed the parts needed to construct their lightsabers. Never before had the feat been undertaken, not outside the five Jedi Masters known today. But Leah had hope. She always did. She knew her students would prove themselves as true Jedi.

In the courtyard, she watched the others settle in one by one. A single tree as old as the monastery stood in the center. Gold, auburn and emerald leaves, almost crystalline under the light, hunkered against a hundred branches stretched above them. Foils of moss clung to the trunk in a brilliant green. Wildflowers gathered at the roots or hatched from cracks in the pavement. Nature’s paradise. Before, Leah disapproved of it because it was a sign of decay. Of the wilderness slowly eating away what remained of the Order. But now? She and Valentine were not the only Jedi who walked the halls of the ancient sanctuary. They weren’t alone anymore. And now, she found beauty in the details.

This is the end of our journey…” Her voice breathed into the silence, almost wistful. Pride and joy glimmered through. “…but beginning of something new.” She stood tall before those gathered: Asha, the fierce rebel she met on Ifrane, now her most experienced student. Fey Meraska, the Pantoran girl she spoke with on Kashyyyk, now stronger under her guidance. Toland Vult and Devrim Wolfe, a former Imperial and extremist, now proud Jedi with roots that ran farther than Leah’s own. Eisa Swan, the scavenger plucked off Savareen, so young but so strong in the Force. Each of them had endured their own trials, and continue to, but Leah was beyond grateful to see how far they all had come.

Each of you possess your chosen kyber crystal and the parts needed construct your ideal lightsaber. The process does not take long, but only if you are truly committed to the Force.” She extended a hand. From under her robes, Leah’s personal lightsaber sailed into the air and hovered below her fingers. Every twitch of her nail dissected the blade, splitting it into a floating jumble of parts with her crystal in the center. “Just close your eyes. Quiet your mind. Reach out as you did on Ellora, as I trained you to. Trust the Force.” She closed her eyes. Suddenly, the pieces came together again, her lightsaber remade. The hilt shot into her grip. Looking to the five, she motioned for them to begin.

Asha was different than the other Padawans assembled under Leah's tutelage. She had thought much about her lightsaber since she had received her crystal and, much like herself, the design she had conceptualized was anything but conventional. The parts gathered before her were actually pieces of an old blaster pistol, though there were components that were more typically seen in a lightsaber, such as an emitter shroud, among them. And these unique components meant that the process of constructing her lightsaber was going to be a bit different and more unorthodox.

Instead of meditating and letting the pieces float together as Leah had just demonstrated, Asha took a moment to calm her breathing and let the Force touch her as she had been taught. Once she felt its energies humming through her, she set to work using the tools around her to put each piece in its proper place. The Force guided her hands throughout the whole process until she was basically in a Force-induced trance. She had never built a lightsaber before, or a blaster pistol for that matter, but it was like the designs were already in her head. When she finished one piece, the next piece she required came to mind, and so on until the frame of her weapon had taken shape.

Her decision to go with a lightsaber pistol had not come easy, but had come as a direct result of her early days training with Leah. The older woman always felt the need to conceal her lightsaber to prevent discovery, which had given Asha an idea: the ability to hide a lightsaber in plain sight. Under normal circumstances, it would work like a traditional blaster pistol. But, when the situation called for it, the muzzle could be folded back, revealing the lightsaber emitter inside. In this way, Asha thought she might be more equipped for hiding her Jedi status whenever she was out in the larger galaxy.

The crystal fit in the crystal chamber flawlessly and, finally, Asha allowed her eyes to close and the Force to take over fully. The hybrid weapon floated up in front of her and all of the remaining loose pieces snapped into place. When she took the weapon out of the air, she immediately noticed its weight; but she also noticed the warmth from the crystal that seemed to sync her Force energy with the weapon's own Force energy. To give it a test, she peeled back the muzzle of the gun, which acted very much as a knuckle guard, and put her finger on the trigger.

The weapon fit nicely in her hand. And the more she held it, the more it felt like part of her hand. She inhaled deeply and waited a moment, then exhaled and pulled the trigger. A pure beam of green plasma burst from the emitter, shrouding the surrounding area in an emerald glow, which seemed to glitter in her eyes. She had done it. This blade was hers. The first leg of her Jedi training had concluded. Oh, how she longed to show her mother what she had become capable of—she could only imagine how proud she might be. @Deviant @Plebometer @Vosrik @Shalken @Fey Aadedai

Standing among the group of Jedi padawans, the young fiery haired teen was wearing the set of robes that had been left out for her within the private quarters within the Jedi temple on Al’doleem. It was perhaps a strange look for the young girl, wearing the trappings of a Jedi as opposed to her usual attire that comprised of oil stained overalls and tank tops. Within the teen's hand hung a simple cloth draw string bag that was bulging with various obscured objects of varying sizes and shapes, containing the parts of what would become her lightsabers.

Following her earlier attempt and Leah's instruction that assembling a light saber required much more than simply just fitting the components into the right places, and to wait until it was time for her to explain to all her padawans when they arrived on Al'doleem. Eisa had abstained from allowing her natural technological instinct take over and build the light sabers by her own imitative.

As the Jedi master spoke out her instructions, Eisa watched with a degree of awe as Leah's lightsaber exploded out into various components, each part seamlessly falling way from the other before arranging themselves into a hovering mass of metal components and wires, at the very epicenter was a blue hued crystal, Leah's own Kyber crystal. Realisation and understanding about the Jedi master's earlier caution to wait becoming clear, it was not the case of forming a weapon as if it were a blaster or a vibrosword, it was much more involved. The use of the Force itself giving meaning that the construction of the lightsaber was a much more intimate process than the teen had originally thought.

When the Jedi master gave instruction for her padawans to start forming their lightsabers for themselves the need nodded, and slowly withdrew from the gathered group. Prior to the morning's assembling of the various Jedi learners, Leah had approached the young teen, advising that whilst the Kyber crystal that had hung around her neck as an unassuming pendant for all these years since it came into her possession, had shown an liking to the teen. It was not truly hers, the Kyber resonated with the life force of a long since passed Jedi. Even though the teen could use it to form her lightsaber and become one of her conduits for channeling the Force. Eisa would have to commune deeper with the kyber, and open herself to the life force that remained to ensure that the young girl was a worthy successor.

As the young teen made her way into the interior of the Jedi temple, she made her way through the long labyrinth of hallways that the Jedi Master had earlier guided her through. Headed towards the large meditation chambers located deep within the temple, stepping into the large chamber that echoed with the footsteps of the young fiery haired teen as she made her way into the center of the meditation chamber. With a swift flick of her hands the doors closed behind her and sealed shut, not to re-open until she had completed her intended course of action.

Carefully the teen untied her hair, allowing the long dyed orange and yellow hued locks of hair to flow freely down to the midriff of her back before sitting down and carefully setting out the various components that resided within the simple cloth bag. Arranging them into two distinct piles, at the heart of one particular grouping lay a lightly shimmering peridot hued Kyber that the teen had acquired on Ellora that sat among a complex collection of mechanisms and parts that looked as if they had been retrieved from a blaster pistol.

Among the second grouping of components that sat beside the segment of brylark wood that she had been given by the Wookiees during her life day pilgrimage, its form had been reformed and carefully cut to shape to form a bespoke handle that was formed to the young teen's grip. The grouping was however missing a key component, its Kyber crystal. Slowly and carefully the teen removed the pendant from around her neck, carefully removing the crystalline structure from its harness and setting it down within the arrangement of components.

Taking a deep breath the young teen closed her eyes, touching her mind into the whispering currents of the Force briefly, before opening her eyes momentarily, her eyes taking in the sight of the two Kybers as they started to resonate with a light glow, one emanating a bright vibrant green, whilst the other gave off a frosty blue glow. A light smile crossed her features before her eyes once again closed themselves to the world around her, as the various parts and components circled around the teen like a metallic dust storm. Each grouping taking shape as she opened her mind deeper into the Force and reaching out to the two Kybers, her spirit and essence coming not only with the crystal that would become a reflection of herself, but with that of the Jedi that resided within the second. A strong and willful presence that started to gradually make itself known to the young teen, not like the previous occasions of a few whispered words into the back of her conscious mind, but a pair of vibrant ice blue hued eyes set within an alabaster skinned female, with long flowing raven black hair. For the first time the teen could see who it was that had been guiding her from within the Kyber crystal.

Finally, Devrim truly understood why such great lengths were taken to keep the true headquarters of the Alliance a secret. After the events of Dantooine, they could not risk the extremist acts of the Dxun cell leading them back here — to what remained of the Jedi Order. At least, until they had discovered the Deep Stone Crypt. Already, repairs were being made on the central chamber and the Roost to fix the cave-ins and allow the place to be inhabited and used to teach a new generation of Jedi. Now, Devrim sat with the others in the courtyard that was filled with the energies of the Force. He had put aside his old rebel trooper gear and armour, as it represented his time among the rebel extremists. Now, he wore black Jedi robes and carried nothing with him except Caladglær strapped to his side. He had yet to even begin reading it, but he was eager to once he had the opportunity and the time to himself.

He sat in silence, listening to their Jedi Master as she spoke to the Padawans together. They had all come so far, even in the last few months. They had grown together, and they would continue to grow even more in the Force as they rebuilt the Jedi Order. Pulling out a small satchel, Devrim opened it and peered inside. From the chest filled with hundreds of Kyber crystals back in the Deep Stone Crypt, the dark-haired padawan had selected his own that, like the others, resonated with his very being. Both he and it, in a way, had chosen each other. On the journey to Al'doleem, Devrim had taken the time to attune the crystal — which had turned from clear to a vibrant emerald hue. While the others had selected parts from the variety available at the ancient sanctuary, the dark-haired padawan already had everything he needed. During the Life Day celebrations on Kashyyyk, Leah had gifted himself and Toland unique Brylark wood hilts — all that they needed were the Kyber crystals to activate them.

Demonstrating before them all how to assemble their weapons, Devrim was a bit shocked. Until now, he had thought that assembling their lightsabers would have required a workshop and fine-pointed tools. Following the directions, Devrim closed his eyes and centered himself in the Force. Much more practiced in drawing upon the Light, he was finding it easier and easier to call upon the Force. The hilt, previously assembled in the satchel, sailed into the air along with his Kyber crystal. Much like Master Reach's blade, the Brylark hilt whirled and dissected itself into a myriad of parts. For some time, the broad-shouldered padawan tried making sense of the craftmanship to reassemble it all once again.

Te2m60n.jpg
He stopped, exhaling and relaxing his mind. Devrim realized he was thinking like a rebel, and his improvising skills would not be of any help here. Start with the crystal, he thought to himself, and the emerald jewel floated to the center of the pieces. With the Force flowing through it, the Kyber crystal began glowing brightly, and piece by piece everything fell into place. Finally, the inner workings were completed and the casing of Brylark and bronze-coloured metal fitted perfectly on top. Reaching out with his right hand, the lightsaber flew into it and Devrim's eyes snapped open. He looked at the completed weapon with awe. Not even his prized R5R blaster felt as connected and as comfortable in his grasp as this hilt did. As Asha ignited her blade, Devrim did the same — bathing the area further in the same emerald-green glow. He couldn't help but smile — now more than ever, he truly felt like a Jedi.

Fey stood among the group of companions, Leah's students, now on the last leg of their journey. Since arriving at the sanctuary, Fey had been able to retreat into her mind and fully consider her place in the universe, her new place in the rise of the Jedi Order. It was a beautiful place to contemplate these things, among the ancient beauty of the temple. Fey had taken her time bathing after their journey from the blizzardy peaks. And now, standing in the courtyard adorned in her new robes, she was ready to take on the last challenge presented to her by her master.

Listening intently to her master, Fey watched with close attention as she watched the Master's own lightsaber zip to her hand and subsequently snap out of it's formation to reveal a scattering of different parts, she tipped her head in understanding. This would not be about assembling a jumble of parts logically, rather than trusting and attuning herself to become one with the force in it's construction. Fey stared tenaciously at the kyber crystal at Leah's saber center, watching the icy blue glow ebb and glean off of it's may facets. Her own crystals and various collected instruments resided in a satchel which hung at her side.

Once Leah released the statuses to begin their own private construction, Fey watched as the group dispersed to various parts of the temple for a veil of privacy. She stood, watching after some, but decided within a whim that she felt most attuned to the force in the very courtyard they had grouped at, among the nature. Fey had always connected easily with the force when surrounded by natural things on various planets. But here she felt it the most, the feel of ease of the force flow between the branches of the lone tree that stood in the courtyard, and even down to the ground. She knew where it's roots were firmly planted, she could feel their presence stretched beneath her feet.

Seeing few move off in various direction in the yard, the girl made her way to the tree and found a place among the moss that sprouted between the roots which protruded, and sat. She took a moment to settle herself, pushing the multitude of lower-back length white hair which she usually kept in multiple braids behind both of her shoulders and out of the way of her hands. She worked her satchel to her front, and gingerly placed the various parts out among the moss and roots which she sat among. Once everything was spread, among all of which lay the parts for two lightsabers. In the crypt, Fey had not known exactly what the force was compelling her to reach for, all a mess of tiny bits and pieces she did not really know to make of, just knowing that she needed them.

And now, she could see that she had two of most pieces. A mix of power cells, various lenses, other bits of durasteel Fey was not qualified to exactly identify. After looking over the pieces, Fey turned to her satchel once again, and removed a small cloth from the bag which housed two crystals. She had spent the majority of their time at the temple alone in her quarters or in the courtyard meditating with the crystals - which now glowed with a pale yellow hue between her fingers where she observed them. They were both unique from the other- different facets and one slightly larger than the other, although they both were no larger than a coin respectively.

Fey gingerly placed the crystals between both groupings of durasteel and titanium-alloy pieces. The blue woman sat back then, straightening her back, and closed her eyes to the physical world around her. Opening her mind to the light side of the force, which so easily pushed back against her mind, she felt first the ancient tree at her back. Fey pushed more, feeling out against the gentle waves of the river of light, and felt the pieces of her sabers floating within the soft river, ripple against her palms as she spread her fingers, allowing more surface area for the force to work off of.

On the outside, one would have seen the pieces float below her respective hands, a slow assembling beginning, methodically working as pieces latched together like an ancient puzzle. They found their facets and latched as a myriad of durasteel became, slowly, two whole lightsabers. Until finally, the last pieces snapped simultaneously into place and Fey felt herself connect, immediately, with the smooth feel of both of her sabers snapped into her outstretched palms.

The woman did not open her eyes. She knew the force had complete it's construction. She knew the weight and the smooth of her sabers. She felt the crystals within, dormant until now, as she allowed the beams to snap into existence.

Only then did she open her eyes as she heard the whirr of life tumble from the sabers in unison. She saw the beams, both yellow, and noticed their differences as thought they were living creatures beneath her hands, connected to her through the force. Tentatively, she gave them both a juggle, testing their weight in each hand. Fey stood then, and gripped them fully. As if something told her what to do, she moved both of the lightsabers together so that their hilts came close to each other. Once the hilts were just a centimeter apart, they magnetized together with ease, making the two sabers one, uniting their energy.

In awe, Fey now held the paired lightsabers as one staff. A new weight, but a familiar feeling of the weapon she had trained on for years, she now gave the staff a light twirl, switching hands. Fey felt more herself than she had ever in this moment. This was real. She was to be a sculptor of the renewed Jedi order.

Toland sat in silence amidst the others, the Brylark hilt and other lightsaber parts assorted neatly on a blanket before him. In the center sat the Kyber crystal that he found in the remains of his ancestor's old staff, already attuned and yet resonating with the new Padawan nonetheless. Attentively he watched and listened to Leah, who stood at the front and instructed them on their final steps to becoming true Jedi. It was strange how Toland had almost changed his identity so frequently recently; first he was an Imperial soldier in service to the Empire; then he was a Rebel, striving against the powers that he once served; and now a Jedi, learning the ways of the Force in his new set of robes in the Jedi sanctuary of Al'doleem.

Once again Toland was surprised by the level of control Master Reach had over the Force, easily disassembling her lightsaber and then just as easily reassembling it without a second thought. Though he knew that he was nowhere near that level of skill, Toland was far from intimidated from the task. Rather, he was eager to learn more, and now with the help of the memory crystals from the Deep Stone Crypt and the guidance of their Master, there was a vast pool of knowledge from which he could draw from and hone his abilities.

Vult looked down to the supplies that he had gathered on the tile floor before him. Though he had the wooden hilt that Leah had given him during the Life Day festivities on Kashyyyk, Toland had gathered a few more parts from Ellora to accent it and fill in the pieces that were missing. Never much of a mechanic, Toland was at first bewildered as to how it all should be put together. However, remembering Leah's words to simply trust the Force, he simply closed his eyes and reached out with his senses to grasp the pieces that lay before him. Where once he would have been nervous about levitating even the smallest of rocks, Vult was now confident in his abilities, having even been able to help lift Eisa across a chasm in the middle of a raging blizzard not so long ago. Though he could not see for himself, the parts slowly rose into the air before him, whirling gently about the blue Kyber crystal in the center before encasing it one by one. Before long, the hilt rested in his lap, fully complete.

IMG_3036-wmark.jpg
Opening his eyes, Toland raised the blade upright, igniting it and admiring the azure glow it cast across the courtyard. This was not the first time he had ever held a lightsaber, as he had grasped the one from the Sith that he had knocked out on Onderon; but even though he had not fully realized his sensitivity in the Force back then, he never enjoyed handling it, feeling as though it was sick or corrupting to the touch. But the saber he held right now, his lightsaber, felt right and good. It felt like it was a part of him, something that wanted to be at his side.

Looking around at the others as they ignited their own sabers, Toland was filled with a new hope once more. Though there were so few of them present, every lightsaber ignited was a step closer to restoring the Order to what it should be — and together, they would make that dream a reality.

Leah observed her students as they built their lightsabers.

Asha had come up with a new idea: a lightsaber pistol. During their time together on Ifrane, the Jedi Master always aimed to hide her truer self. Refrain from ever using the one weapon she preached about to the others. Of course, her opinion had long since changed. The dark encounter with Imperial loyalists convinced Leah it was time for the Jedi to rise. It was what persuaded her to give her students the opportunity to build their very own lightsabers. The first constructed in decades. The other Jedi may have waited until late in their training, but Master Reach believed a lightsaber was essential to the nature of a Jedi. Their weapon, shield and symbol. One day, its use would bring light to a galaxy full of darkness, and so would the men and women who possessed it.

Her wandering eyes moved to Eisa. While the others reviewed the parts they acquired from the Deep Stone Crypt, now a full-fledged Jedi sanctuary, the pair spoke in private before the gathering. She planned not only to create a lightsaber pistol but a traditional blade too. With a crystal plucked from the old refuge and the one that hanged around her neck for years, waiting to return into the shelter of a lightsaber hilt, she required a chance to build alone. Leah would have preferred if she remained present throughout the gathering, but she understood. Eisa needed to be alone. The Jedi Master would respect that and watch as she left for the meditation chambers inside the temple. She was confident the girl would return successful, reinvigorated and ready for the fight ahead.

She observed Fey Meraska with growing curiosity. The young Pantoran contained potential back on Kashyyyk. Although there was still a long way to go for her, she had already come so far. Farther than Master Luy could have ever hoped to see. Leah was glad to have stolen her away, even if the shortest time, if only to see her growth and development as a Jedi. Fey selected two crystals and enough parts for paired lightsabers, capable of uniting into a single saberstaff. Unique, she would be among the first in many years to fashion and hold such a variant blade. Master Reach could not be any more proud of her than in that very moment. She was proud of all her students. How far they had come, and how far they would go from then on.

Devrim Wolfe and Toland Vult had gone from two rebels considering the existence of the Force in a shoddy bar, to two experienced Jedi and the descendants of an Order long forgotten. A direct line that had survived centuries of oppression. They were among the only ones with roots that led to some of the greatest Jedi in history, save for Asha. Together, they all had risen to the same level of devotion shared by their ancestors. Each of them contained the blood of a true Jedi, with a heart of compassion and a spirit of good will. Leah recognized they would go far together. Perhaps, one day, taking her place as the pinnacle of a new Jedi Order over a liberated galaxy. The end of the old and the start of something new.

Eisa would soon return. Even so far away, she could sense the girl was done, and all the more powerful for it. The same went for the others. As they held their blades, Leah made certain to carefully inspect each one from afar and through the Force. She could only offer one answer. “Flawless.

Asha was mesmerized by her green-bladed weapon. The hum of the blade was hypnotizing, and it was surprisingly more heavy than she imagined—heavier than the vibro-sword she once wielded, at least. But what was most surprising about it was the energy of the Force that seemed to connect her hand to the crystal hidden in the pommel, like a direct circuit, which made the blade feel like a literal part of her arm. She had thought all those speeches about the blade being 'part of you' was just Leah's way of being dramatic; but, as had become common since she left Ifrane, she was reminded that there was so much more she needed to learn.

Stepping aside from the rest of the group, Asha found some space to herself and began to practice some simple movements with the weapon. The blade was surprisingly responsive, so she launched into her usual morning training routine—the one she had used to warm up with her sword previously on Ifrane. The blade hummed and whirred around her as she danced around her space with it. In many ways, she felt like a child with a stick pretending to be a Jedi. But the stick was a real lightsaber this time. Her lightsaber. She got so carried away by the moment that she lost track of her blade's movements, causing it to slice through a nearby tree like a hot knife through butter.

The old tree crackled as it broke away and fell over on its side. After the shame of her carelessness washed through her, Asha admired her blade for its cutting ability. Truly, it was superior in every way to her previous weapon. She hadn't even felt the blade pass through the tree's trunk. It had almost seemed to fade through, like a ghost through a wall, and Asha knew she would require more training to properly master the weapon so that she did not accidentally harm herself or others because she was not familiar with all of its unique and powerful attributes.

Satisfied with her creation, Asha shut the weapon down and returned it to blaster-mode before shoving it into the holster at her hip. Leah had said it best. Flawless. Asha smirked. "Flawless, indeed." @Deviant

It felt as if several months had passed, even though the space of time seemed to have been dilated within the flowing currents of the Force. Yet despite the short space of time, the young teens mind had travelled further than what she could have thought possible. Throughout the teen's envelopment within the Force, she had been guided by an unknown raven haired female. Clad in the light coloured trappings of a Jedi, the striking features where a vibrant pair of ice blue irises. The moment the young teen had locked her gaze on the figures eyes she knew that the figure that stood before her was the original owner of the Kyber Crystal.

The only indication of other womans presence was the initial spark of an overpowering aura that radiated from the Kyber crystal before it started to permeate outwards from within the thick marble walls of the meditation chamber, the very essence of ancient Jedi Master resonating throughout the force, filling every square inch of the room, seeping through the cracks and grains of the marble wall and spilling down the near by corridors. But that was only for what must of accounted for the first few minutes in real-time of the young teens meditation, now the rippling aura within the Force had subsided and unlike before where to the most experienced of Jedi, something that Leah had noticed on Savareen, the two distinct presences had became one. The teens own presence although recognisable was substantially different, there were no wisps of bewilderment, longing for understanding, nothing that would reflect her earlier days of coming to terms with her Force Sensitivity.

From the ancient Kyber however, there was just simple serene and calm presence could be felt from within the ornately designed traditional lightsaber hilt. The life force thay had remained buried within the heart of the crystalline structure was finally free, though that had not came about so easily. Before the spiritual essence could become one with the Force once again, the remnants of the Jedi Master had felt it necessary to impart as much of her own knowledge and teachings to the young teen so that Eisa could be better prepared for the path that lay ahead. Something that was perhaps easier said than done, the teen was still very young and niave in the ways of the Force, though there was a willingness to learn the Force Spirit did have to manipulate the flow of time a little to bring the young girl up to speed and to a level that reflected the raw potential that the teen exhibited. But that was not to say there was still plenty for Eisa to learn as she grew, all the spirit had emparted with her was the foundations for the teen to build upon.

Slowly the youngest of the gathered Jedi opened her eyes, a light peridot hued shimmer briefly washed over her irises, blinking a few times so to allow her pupils to adjust to the light, the fiery haired teen took a deep breath, her gaze falling upon her immediate surroundings of the meditation chamber, a curious eyebrow raising as her eyes focused in on a frosty layer coating the top of the immediate surface around her. As strange as it was to see, the teen's attention soon shifted to the cylindrical object that was resting perfectly mid air above her lap, before her gaze panned over to regard an object that was much more akin to a blaster than a lightsaber, but the combined functionality of the lightsaber pistol seemed the appropriate choice for the teen, given her often being seem out and about.

Reaching out her hand the teen beckoned thre more ornate and traditional looking lightsaber towards her. The teens technological eye for detail attentively surveyed the combined metallic and polished wooden body of the Lightsaber hilt, her emerald gaze following the smooth sweeping gradiants of the silver metal tried and contoured grips and dials right to the very tip where a simple silver fluted bellmouth sat around the emitter. Then her attention turned towards the second object, thay unlike the ornate and traditional nature if it's counterpart was extremely modern, sleek and most importantly functional. From its simple blackend metal casing to the ebony wood stock and grip. The lightsaber looked little different to any typical blaster pistol, which for its concealed nature the teen was pleased with the results.

A contented smile crossed her lips as she reached out to grasp the floating objects, with each hand, her fingers recoiled briefly from the coldness of the metal, but soon wrapped perfectly around the wooden grips and falling into place within the ergonic contours of each of the two handles. The fit was perfect it matched her grip and no one elses. Afterall weapons were crafted for her use and no one else's.

With a deep breath the teen rose to her feet, her gaze fixed upon the objects held out at arms length from her body. A dull thud echoed through the chamber as the girl used the force to leap from her position in the centre of the chamber to the outskirts of the room. No sooner as she had landed upon her feet, a sharp hissing crackle filled the room as a mixture of a brilliant peridot and cyan hued light flooded the immediate area around the Jedi Padawan. each of the blades of light held within the teenager's grasp echoing in unison with the aura of blades wielder. Taking a deep breath Eisa closed her eyes before exploding into a flurry of fluidic and graceful movements as she spared against thin air, the blades in her hands becoming an physical extension of herself as she spun round in a torrent of rapid collection of blurred light and movement.

After ten minutes of feeling the rushing Force energies glow through her and her weapons, the teen emerged through the great stone doors to the chamber as they creaked open, revealing the young teen, the ornate traditional styled llight saber clipped to a hoop fastened to the hip of her belt. Whilst the second sat within a standard holster. The bright cheerful grin and lively spark returning to her eyes as she stepped away from the chamber, before making her way out of the depths of the temple, and back to rejoin the others beside the tree on the courtyard.

As the teen approached, she withdrew her weapons and offered them to Leah to inspect, handing over her lightsaber pistol first, " this carries the Kyber that called out to me on Ellora" the teen spoke before reaching for the more ornate styled lightsaber. "This carries the Kyber of Jedi Master Jinlo Halan" she added, having finally learned the name of the crystals original owner.

Everyone was done. They bonded with the kyber crystals, built their lightsabers, and Leah were ready to take on the Sith and the galaxy groveling at their feet.

Asha shared that enthusiasm. Not in the way Leah would have hoped, or the other Jedi Masters would have liked. Waving around her emerald blade, she danced around the courtyard. Her movements were graceful and refined. A natural duelist. Master Reach was taken away by her unexpected blade-work and style. Enough that she failed to notice or foresee what she was about to do next. Her steps grew ever lighter toward the center of the courtyard. Before she realized what she meant to do, it had already happened. With a brilliant twirl, she slashed clean through the nearest tree. The only tree. The oldest tree.

Her eyes widened. As the lightsaber emerged, the bark ached. Not a moment later, the tree came to a fall, cracking loudly against the pavement. Her mouth dropped into the ground along with it. As Asha deactivated her lightsaber and turned around, completely oblivious to what she had done, Leah walked up to the remains of the tree. Its life whittled away, sinking into the ground and back to the nexus of the Force it had originally grown from. She glanced between the dying tree and the unaware rebel. “That tree was at least seven hundred years old. It was the first one planted on this mountain before the construction of this temple.” Her voice carried no anger, only astonishment.

She noticed a shadow surface from the temple. Her heart immediately sank. By good luck, it was only Eisa with her finished lightsabers. A similar pistol and one with a more elaborate style. Leah was proud of her, but her awe and stupor was overwhelming. Even as she proclaimed the crystal was in possession of an ancient Jedi Master, signaling her own roots to the old Jedi, Leah could not help but stay focused on the lump of withered wood at her feet. She heard several footsteps start to rush toward the courtyard. Knowing it was not one of her students, she shot a look toward Eisa and then the others. “That’s brilliant, beautiful— yes, but I suggest we can discuss this more in private elsewhere.

The footsteps grew closer. A shadow rising. Their presence in the Force was palpable, and Leah knew it was another Jedi Master. With one hand, she hurriedly motioned everyone to hide, return to their chambers or flee the planet. The older woman made sure to do the same, directing her Padawans from the courtyard. She knew their would be hell to pay if the other Masters found out who was responsible for such a seemingly sacrilegious act. No way did she want her students, or herself, to suffer any consequences from it. Although she taught never to run from their problems, this case would be the exception.

Vanishing from the scene with everyone else in tow, the approaching Jedi Master came to light…

The monastery on the river moon of Al’doleem was old, and it showed. Centuries of neglect had not been kind to former Jedi home. Nature wanted desperately to reclaim the monastery. It nearly had, until the Jedi returned. For the first time in five hundred years the monastery was alive with life again. The five had reclaimed the monastery as a sanctuary, separate and apart from the Alliance secret command center on the moon. They had chosen the forgotten monastery as the home of the rebuilt Order. At first, that had meant nothing. It had only been the five of them and they were rarely home. That was all changing.

The monastery was a hive of activity as the fledgling Order grew. The five and their students now called the elderly structure home. Oh, there was still a tremendous amount of work to be done. The monastery was nowhere near what it once had been, but it was a start. Master Aurora Blackwood walked the tranquil halls. She took these early morning walks to quiet her mind. Her life was chaos lately and serenity was hard to find. Walking the halls of the monastery she could feel the ocean of the Lightside washing over her. Aurora’s mind was settled.

A loud, impossibly loud, crack filled the air. Her mind immediately was set on edge. Aurora’s body tensed as she turned. The sound had unmistakably came from the courtyard. Her booted feet carried her swiftly to the center of the monastery. Aurora’s mouth fell open. The tree that predated the fall of the Jedi Order lay in the center of the courtyard. Stunned, Aurora walked forward. Her hands brushed the undeniable burn marks on the tree. Saber slashes. She had loved that tree, that tree had meaning. Aurora mind immediately flung wide open, her thoughts broadcasting across the entire monastery. Any Jedi within the walls would hear her very pointed thoughts. “Someone is in massive kriffing trouble…and getting a Lightsaber timeout” Aurora left the courtyard to find the responsible party. There would be consequences for this foolishness. Never let the children have lightsabers. Never. @Deviant

Castor had never been anywhere this peaceful, this collected before. He had been doing some training in the gods damned desert for his Master and she had finally decided that it was time for him to be allowed to visit this planet.

He didn't even know it's name.

What he did know, just walking around, was that it was a regal, majestic, place. It was full of peace but... but then there was am almighty crack and suddenly the peace seemed fragile. Swallowing thickly, he placed a hand on his saber and stepped out into the courtyard.

He paused upon seeing the destroyed tree and a rather stern woman. ( @Valen Pelora ) It took him less than a second to spin around on his heel and immediately try to get out of sight. Castor might be more trusted now but he was, at the end of the day, still "the Sith" who everyone was convinced was just taking it.

Time to book it.

Although he might have stopped for his own Master? He was not so convinced the others would believe him.
