The Felucian Occurrence

[Miranda]

Kamira, for one, had not even been speaking to the Jedi, let alone yelling. Her voice had remained calm and aloof the entire time. She arced an eyebrow at the Jedi as he stammered at her, crazy arse koochoo she thought to herself as the Jedi started slashing down random foliage. She had thought the Jedi were patient, sagacious, holier-than-thou eccentrics...but this Jaiz seemed very prone to outbursts and not calm nor stoic.
She waved a dismissive hand at his comment, "corruption... don't speak to me of corruption Jedi, if it wasn't for my kind the galaxy would be overrun with bastard crooks. You Jedi know squat". She moved off into the confines of the jungle and continued gathering tinder. The afternoon sun was slowly cantering over the sky, it would be dusk soon, and then nightfall.

Jaiz knew that he was angry and tried to hide it.
(Its not Jedi way, but I have never been in this situation and this war is killing my friends)

Jaiz continued to collect pieces of wood and put the blasters the guards had into his belt.
(These custom heavy blaster will come in handy not to mention those grenades, better keep them hidden from them)

 

[Miranda]

The few prisoners that were still alive had not moved from behind their covering places. They were wracked out of their minds with terror. None of them had even bothered to escape, fearing redemption from Kamira, the Jedi, and this newcomer - 'Melisa', if they dared to flee. They also felt it was probably safer with these three rather than braving the perils of the jungle. They had no weapons, and they were still harboring injuries from the crash.

As Kamira collected tinder and wood she made pyres under the Acklay corpses. She wished she had a canister of fuel so that she might just pour it over the ground and ignite it. That course of action would have been much faster. They didn't have that luxury here though, so dry-wood and tree scrapings were all she had to work with.
"Move scum...I want you all where I can see you", she kicked one of the prisoners lightly and pointed her blaster at him, signalling for the remainder of them to gather in a circle in the centre of the hollow. "No one is going to run on my watch...just try it", she kissed her blaster and glared at them all menacingly.

 

[Zen]

Alexis Nonomyth looked at them wow, they were really blind and naive, and foolish blinded by there own pride she spoke. ”I’ll do well, once we get there, my ship can take about one thundered to two hounded soldiers. But it’s full of supplies. Anyways, You people can get food, on my ship. Once we head to your things.” She said but then. Saw Jedi’s outbursts and was very surprised Jedi were always calm. And this one was a bounty hunter. She spoke. ” Enough both of you, you are acting like uneducated children.” She said calmly. She then saw jedi cut trees, and the bounty collecting wood. ”We will eat the remains, of this things this is all we have, or we will starve to death.” She said slowly. And then the gun pointed at the prisoner, she waved her hand, and force the rifle, upward, there was not much she can do, she made it up ward so she does not shoot the innocent person. ”You kill, I will strike, Understood.. now calm yourselves, and lower the rifle, or I break it.”She said slowly, letting her rifle be at her control again.

Kent couldn't see much of anything, but he did see the Acklay, which was a common horror in the area, he wanted to help them but he couldn't get a clear shot. When he was checking his range, Kent noticed that his blasters were on stun, the rancor was not dead. Kent knew he had to risk hitting the survivors with his blasters or high tail it back to back to the outpost and organize a rescue team of some sort. He decided that he would go get a team an rescue them when he heard a loud thud, a tree was cut, and he began flying back to base.

 

[Miranda]

Kamira was growing ever more irritated by this newcomer. The prisoners were certainly not innocent, hence why they were prisoners in the first place. They were a collective of brutal murderers, rapists, and criminal scum. This newcomer's compassion towards them made Kamira unsettled, to say the least. "Like I implied earlier, I don't take orders from anyone. Especially a Force-user...show any more mercy towards these criminals, stranger, and you'll soon have them knifing you in your sleep". She smiled delicately at that thought. "It's no skin off my nose though...do what you want. Just get a distress signal happening and I'll be most appreciative". Kamira noticed that this Melisa had used the Force on her once, and it really tested her nerves. The blaster wasn't pointed at the prisoners anyway, she was merely keeping them in line. She noticed that the Rodian Jedi was collecting the weapons off the dead guards and then returned to gathering tinder. "Eat them if you like...I have my own supplies, but I will be setting them on fire to cover their carrion stench regardless."
She wouldn't have to bear this agitating woman for much longer. She'd camp and then take off on her own towards the capital. If she could get a message to her associates they could come and retrieve her from Felucia, with a few prisoners in tow. They'd make a fortune between them.

 

[Tarranium]

''Ah will you two shut it?'' Jaiz had grown pretty tired of this cat figth.
''The four remaining prisoners are all financial criminals, they stole a lot families living hoods they were being transported to Coruscant to get an even bigger cake. Happy?''

Jaiz collected the bodyparts of the acklays on the pile of wood with the force.
He was worrying if anyone even noticed that they had crashed here.

(The only reason we were here was to pick up that one crook the whats-his-name, but instead we get attacked by giant crabs and some uglu pig monsters.)

[Miranda]

Kamira scoffed at the Rodian Jedi now, "my you're a fiery one...are you sure you're a Jedi?", she went about her business of collecting more tinder for the pyres, she set one ablaze with some flint from her pack and then continued to the next carcass. These two idiotic sentients that she now found herself dealing with was exactly the reason she preferred to work alone. She always got the job done without having to answer to anyone. And now these two just hindered her progress. If needs be, she would have left them to the Acklay and Rancor. She could have been hours away by now and on her way to the capital. She almost wished she hadn't circled back. That damn Rancor had set her course.
She wondered then, about the pirates that had shot them down in hyperspace above Felucia. Would they be coming? Would they be tracking them in order to free the prisoner or prisoners that had caused their initial assault and crash? She hoped that they had not been associates of Basshta...that fracking bounty was hers, and no one and nothing would stand between her and that Zabrak scum. He was worth his weight in credits.

 

[Zen]

She eyed the poor girl. And her ways she also noted the bounty was troubled. She came up towards her and spoke. ” IF you do as I say, you can collect my bounty, I am worth right over two million, so if you get through, and I leave to your work, you can collect me as a bounty. Trust, child you lack wisdom, with age. I am far older then you as well smarter, the Jedi is to angry leave him be he will calm down or he will die by this creatures. So, please allow me to save this people, just because there crimeless you have no right to take out there lives, if they disobey. I am trying to reason, But I will strike you or the Jedi if you killed any of men or yourselves, and if your attacked, I will guard you. Now please enjoy the night I will stand guard.” She said slowly.

 

[Miranda]

Kamira simply stood and listened to the woman's ranting...she obliged her, with her still condescending tone. For the moment, the Jedi and this stranger were useful. She lowered her voice and spoke to the woman with a frigid and detached effort, "these prisoners are no use to me dead...I'm merely keeping order. If I wanted them dead, they would be already. Believe me."
She set another Acklay pyre on fire and continued, "regardless, I understand we need to work together right now. I am willing to oblige you, and I appreciate your assistance. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to claim your bounty...but I am an honorable woman, I am here only to ensure these prisoners are taken to Coruscant, and that I find my escaped bounty and bring him to justice, as my contract stipulates." Kamira continued setting the corpses on fire and then took a seat on a nearby fallen tree. She took a cigarillo from her pack and lit it, inhaling the smoke she suddenly felt much more relaxed. She needed to devise a plan, to track down Basshta and get off this planet.

"Hey did you see that!" shouted Peat's co pilot, Jade.
"Yeah! A prison transport class ship! Looks like it might be have just been shot down. What an explosion." replied Peat, "Carter, do u got any visuals of what shot it down?"
"Looks like it came from the surface," explained Carter, the crew's navigations officer.
"You guys know what this means?" asked Peat.
"High quality salvage?" asked Jade.
"Exactly! Take us down!"
(The ship, The Red Avenger, dropped down to the planet's surface.).

[Miranda]

In fact, the prison freighter - Justicar's Hand, had been shot down by a pirate vessel wanting to incapacitate the ship's crew and somehow free the prisoners. The pirates had been circling beneath the prison freighter however, giving a perspective that could have been interpreted as coming from the planet itself. Where the pirate vessel was now, who could say? The most probable conclusion was that the pirates had landed on Felucia and were now tracking the location of the crash-site.

 

[Tarranium]

''You know smoking is bad for your health.'' Jaiz walked next to Kamira and sat next to her putting his lightsaber into his belt.

''I'll admit you're right, we need cooperate from now own.''
''And Melissa was it? I'm taking the first watch, guarding the prisoners is my mission. I'll wake you up when its your turn.''

The rodian Jedi took a quick look at his communicator that had been broken due to the crash, he tried to activate it but no luck.
''Do either of you have any idea how long it'll be until we reach the capital?''

 

[Miranda]

"So is a blaster to the face...Jedi", she offered him a sly grin and blew smoke in his direction. She was going to use both of them, and then discard them when the time was right. But for now, they were more of a help than a burden. She could use the extra hands in case anymore creatures decided to assault them. Until she could reach the capital.
"Melisa here is going to locate her ship...and get your sorry arse off this rock, there's no point in you following me to Kway Teow, my business there is mine alone Jedi."
The last thing she needed was a Jedi following her to the capital while she pursued her bounty.

 

[Tarranium]

''Well sorry for being frendly shees''
Jaiz stood up to find his own rock or tree to sit on.
''Ungrateful litte...''

 

[Miranda]

Kamira laughed to herself for a moment, she seemed to have offended the Jedi. She sighed deeply and walked over to the Rodian, "you really shouldn't be so sensitive...I'm not used to hanging around with people, especially not Force wielders, that's for sure". She opened a small packet of dried fruits and offered him a handful. "Who knows, maybe once we figure out a plan to get off this jungle hell, you might just be able to help me capture my bounty...maybe use that Force of yours to subdue him?" The Jedi probably could make the job go a lot faster, if he was willing to help. She wasn't sure if he would be breaking some ancient 'codes' in assisting her, but they weren't exactly in a conventional situation anymore.

Jaiz looked at the fruits she offered, he grabbed them and ate them.

''Alright, you help me to get these prisoners to Coruscant and I'll help with your bounty.''
''Jaiz looked at the remaining prisoners and was thinking if they wouldnt get out of here alive, that wouldnt be that big of a deal right? They are criminals after all.

''You help me and I help you, deal?''

 

[Miranda]

((Dree Vandap was a female Rodian Jedi during the New Sith Wars/Old Republic Era?))

"Sounds fair, Jedi.", Kamira nodded in agreement and stubbed her cigarillo out into the ground. "I can't travel to the capital with all these prisoners though, they'll only serve to slow me down. And I need to be quick to catch the man I'm after."
She ate a few of her dried rations and put them back in her pack, "hopefully Melisa here can find her ship soon...and keep the prisoners locked up while we head to the capital. Kway Teow is due north, two days if we walk fast...". With that she sat down next to the Jedi and watched the Acklay corpses burn as the sun gradually set.

 

[Tarranium]

''It'll be half a day id we run.'' Jaiz checked that the prisoners were okay and one of them asked for food.

''There you go!'' Jaiz pointed at the Acklays. ''It migth not be delicius but its still meat! Mabey....''

Jaiz walked around little bit checking for anymore bodyparts to burn.
''Hey! We should burn the bodyes of the guards and the prisoners as well!''

''Jaiz walked up to one of the dead guards and lifted it and started to walk to the nearest fire.
