Ferras had underestimated the Rodian Jedi. He had sought to overpower the fool with brute strength. That was his mistake. His blades swung through empty air as his momentum had carried him forward. He was unable to adjust when the Jedi was in the air. Annoying. He was trying to regain his balance when white hot pain lanced through his chest. Ferras’ eyes shifted downward.

A colorful blade protruded from his well-muscled chest. A groan escaped the hulking Sith’s throat. He fought for control as he fell forward. He grasped the Darkness in desperation. Pain, hate, anger, fueled his body. It did not matter. The damage was done. The Darkside could not save him now. Two ruby red Lightsabers fell to the ground, their owner quickly following. His eyes closed, and life left him. The last Guardian of the Great Temple faded into the Force.

Ba’Zu stared at the gaping hole in the gates of the Great Temple. Troopers and Jedi poured into the ancient structure. The Bothan Jedi General stood on a small hill surveying the scene. Death and destruction littered the sands of Korriban. He saw familiar faces among the dead. His eyes shifted back to the Temple. He flicked on his commlink.

“Clear the Temple of any remaining Sith. Set the charges when you are finished.” Ba’Zu’s eyes were drawn to the Command balcony. He felt a sharp pang in the Force as a great and terrible Darkside presence faded. The Sith Commander was dead. He turned his commlink on again. He knew who was up there. “Jedi Moku, the Order is in your debt. Get out of there.” The aging Bothan ran his hands through his greying fur. This was finally over. Korriban was falling, the Sith were crumbling. The war was ending.
