Hello all,

I have a very important, and very gamechanging announcement to make. Although I lost the election to become the Republic Faction Leader, I have been offered the position of Republic AFL, and I intend to accept.

It is with a heavy heart that I make this decision, because the Exchange has been, and will forever be 'my baby' so to speak. I remember when I came up with the idea and formed it from the ground up with @Breeso and @JollySailorBold , and It was never my intention to leave it at any point. But as it stands, this is an opportunity I cannot pass up.

However, I also do not want to leave you all high and dry and abandon the Exchange to oblivion. Which is why I ask if anyone feels up to the task of taking over for me as faction leader. Please take your time to see if you can make the commitment. It is a big responsibility. And if whomever takes over fails, I will personally destroy them!

I'm kidding.

Still, in all seriousness, I would like to leave confident that the Exchange will grow and thrive. So, is anyone up to the task?

I will take that into consideration. After speaking with Shalken though, he is unwilling to take over.

Another options is i can see if perhaps the Exchange could join up with the SBZ or integrate with another faction. That just seems like it's stretching things though.

I'm just spitballing here but it might be a good idea to just dissolve it and form a new cartel.

I would volunteer to lead but I feel as though I am too new to the Exchange. So if fyre is leaving I hate to break it but I'll probably leave too. Idk, it'd just not be the same if you get what I mean.

EDIT: Also I'm not gonna leave just like that. With that grenade situation, I'm gonna use that to say I was written off (IC).

Long shot here... I know i am not part of the exchage, however, I love what you guys do and have a soft spot for the underworld. I would love to create a character for Exchange and put myself up for nomination... if that were allowed.......

As you're already in a partnership with the SBZ, I'd suggest merging with their known and canon criminal side of things. It sucks for those with either Republic or Jedi characters, so it's a decision with serious consequences regardless.

Frankly i think if both @jamessour and @Struggle wagon (struggle being a good friend of mine) wish to volunteer, I think the Exchange would be in good hands alongside @TheHook1 and @Shalken . How do you all feel about that? FL decision could be between jemessour and struggle.

Well, folks, it seems that our new leader is indisposes by real life issues. I talked to fyremage, the founder of the Exchange, and he brought up the option of joining the Cabal. Personally, I wouldn't like that, as the Exchange is something different, and I believe that we can still do this. However, we'll need a new faction leader, at least until jamessour returns. I would be willing to become one, however, if someone else wants to step up, I'll back away, as my lack of experience could be a problem.
