XQ-1 Space Station "Blood Money"

Mack, once handler, now ranked a boss of The Exchange, stood alone in the training room she enjoyed frequenting. She had learned much in this room and had several spars with fellow agents. When asked once again to assist a fellow Exchange member and fight in the process she jumped at the chance. The Zabrak female, Tamara, who she had recruited to the Exchange, had requested a spar.

She happily obliged giving the woman the directions to the training room. It would serve for her to test her opponents skill and to see what really went on in the savage woman's head. She did not believe the merciless, unnecessary killing was all the woman stood for and she hoped she was proven right in the sparring match. She had worn a simple t-shirt with black shorts to facilitate movement and had no weapons, save for a vibroknife secured to her hip, inside the shorts. She had activated the newest feature of her training room, the holographic opponent, and moved to the center of the ring. The machine had been expensive but it allowed feedback for her hits and misses and allowed for different fighting styles to defend against.

She waved for the hologram to attack as she stood, awaiting the fellow member of the Exchange. It reacted darting towards her with a punch, and following with a knee towards her abdomen. She batted aside the punch, returning one of her own and raised her leg to intercept the incoming knee, utilizing the momentum to send her spinning full circle. She returned facing the hologram and brought a knee of her own towards its side, followed by a powerful punch it what would have been the chest of the victim. However, her attack was cut short as the hologram deactivated, another sentient being had been detected in the room. She assumed it must be who she was hoping to face and she turned to await the woman's greeting.

It had only been recent since Tamara Farren joined the Exchange, but the one thing she had enjoyed about it so far was how active the organization was. Sure there were drawbacks like the limit on what Tamara called fun killings she tended to do, but in the group seem to provide enough jobs and security that she can get away with some of her 'passions'. One of them, being fighting, it was her drug dating back to when she first started out in gangs in her early life. As such she was on her way to spar with Mack, the human woman who recruited her into the Exchange as they agree on from that first contact.

Wearing only a green sports bras and small shorts, Tamara walked in the directions that Mack gave to the training room. The savage also left behind her stuff and gear at her bunk in the new members' quarters. Usually she didn't go without at least one weapon, knife or blaster but she personally wanted to handle this match strictly hand to hand, noting else. In her opinion, any kind of struggle and chaos are the best way to become stronger and frankly more fun in comparison to abiding in the pathetic restraints of that most people and societies try to put on the galaxy's true nature.

Tamara shrug off that line of thought aside when she entered the room and then noticed Mack was already in the ring, throwing a solid punch at a hologram that disappeared quickly. Smirking and placing her hands on her hips Tamara playfully commented;

"Oh poor, poor, hologram it just couldn't handle you, Mackie. I hope you're not tired out already from that 'fierce struggle', it would be a shame to fight you in a such state."

"Well, hello there Tamara," she said, acid dripping from her voice.

She sighed and waved for the woman to join her in the ring. The padded floor allowed for less chance of getting hurt. She stepped to the left side of the lighted area waiting her opponent to enter. "Show me what makes you so big and bad. Show me what makes you tick," she said teasingly.

"You know what they say Princess be careful what you wish for." Tamara replied back in a challenging tone. She then made her way to the ring and jumped into the right corner, opposite of Mack. When finished she raised both fists to neck level and rush forward at her sparing partner. When the distance closed between them, Farren threw a fast series of jabs with both hands at Mack's head to test the human's respond and then committed a low kick attack with her left leg at Mack's left knee.

The woman met her in the ring and she had decided to make the first move. A smile crossed her face as the jabs began. She batted the jabs aside and dodged the last few, swinging her head away from the incoming onslaught. She countered the incoming kick with a sweeping kick of her own, going below where the woman was swinging her leg, Mack performed a sweep headed for the woman's ankle. Hit or miss, she returned to standing position waiting for her opponent.

Her hands at chest level, she started an attack of her own. Her left hand bolted in a jab aimed for the Zabrak's chest with the right coming in right behind aimed at the stomach, finishing with a powerful uppercut aimed for the woman's chin. However, even if the woman dodged her punches, Mack's incoming left knee was aimed for the woman's right hip.

Mack was good very good, Tamara noted as the human blocked and dodged her jabs and kick. Tamara barely had enough time to jump back when Mack made a sweep for her legs. Then when back up Mack went on the offensive. Tamara blocked the jab aiming for her chest and the follow-up punch toward the stomach. But in doing so she left her head exposed to Mack's uppercut attack. Farren's chin exploded in pain, forcing her head backward and further torment was added when her right hip was struck by her opponent's left knee.

Yet however, before Mack could withdraw her knee from her successful attack, Tamara swiftly grabbed it with her right arm and slam her left elbow into Mack's captured leg and then follow up it with her own uppercut toward Mack in the nose.

The uppercut had sent the woman moving backward, but only for a moment as she reacted with lightning speed grasping the knee that had struck her hard in the hip. The woman had set an elbow arcing toward her thigh which connected as the momentum knocked her leg out of the other woman's grasp. She almost missed the second blow as she turned her head just in time for the uppercut to make a glancing blow off of her cheekbone.

If anything injuries and contact forced the woman to yearn for more. It helped her to feel and be connected with something outside the misery she had been drowning in for so long. She returned the blows with an onslaught of her own, her fist darted forward moving in a left hook to connect with the woman's abdomen. She followed the first with a strong jab from the right aimed right at the center of the Zabrak's face. She pivoted on her back leg sending her body weight and left elbow careening into the woman's left side, finishing with a jab with her right arm in the side.

Mack moved her head at the last second form Tamara's uppercut though it still struck, connecting to the human's cheek. But the younger woman got her stomach assaulted when Mack threw a left hook into it. Tamara gritted her teeth into a defiant smile upon impact back to the Exchange boss, but the other woman wasn't through yet when jabbing toward her face. Tamara dodge it by moving her head to the left side yet Mack followed by pivoting body and elbow into her and complete with punch into Farren's side. Grunting, Tamara retaliated by locking her arms around Mack by her waist awhile they were in motion and used Mack's own momentum against her by twisting the human around and body-slammed her to ground.

Now on top of her sparring partner, Tamara untangled her arms and then unleashed them as fists downward to Mack's face in a wild series of hard punches battering way.

Several of her attacks had connected as the two fought on. However, shortly after the pivoting elbow strike and punch she felt arms wrap around her body. She could see what was coming next as the momentum of the punch and the woman's strength swung her down onto the ground. The breath wooshed from her body as her body met the ground. The mat helped little to absorb the blow as the woman started her attack. The first couple of hits made contact with her cheekbone and jaw. However, as if the blows woke her up, her hands darted upwards to knock the Zabrak's away from continuing to wail on her face.

Her various experiences lent to her strength on her back as she rolled up to an elbow and threw her body weight over simultaneously trying to keep the incoming punches at bay, unsuccessfully as one landed right one her nose. Tears streamed from her eyes as she managed to fully throw the other woman off of her. The pain of the attack only fed the anger the attack had spurred. She rolled on top of the other woman tucking her head into the woman's chest, protecting it with one hand of her own. She started to wail on the woman's ribs. More than a few directed attacks in the same location would ultimately lead to fractures, as she knew her blows were not the easiest to shrug off.

Mack continue to impress Tamara fending off a lot of her onslaught and then turning the tables on her in the matter of seconds by rolling on top of her. Tamara still landed a solid punch into the older woman's nose when it happen and had the pleasure of seeing the opponent tear up in pain, noting. Imagine she doesn't want anyone to see that.

Farren's opinion was proven correct when Mack angrily unleashed a barrage of punches into her ribs. Due to her species' natural resistance to great pain she can withstand a good deal of punishment compare to many humans, but only to a point. Which is why she must end these punches that are becoming more painful with each strike. She couldn't effectively punch Mack's head since the human blocked that approach by pinning her head to Tamara's chest with one arm protecting it as well. Then an idea occurred to the Zabrak and she smiled devilish despite the pain coming from her assaulted ribs.

Suddenly she lunge her head upward as much as she can and bite into Mack's shielding arm. The unexpected infliction caused Mack lift her head for second, which provide time for Tamara to use both her arms to pull the backside of Mack's t-shirt covering her eyes, head to the chin. With her enemy distracted, Tamara pushed Mack off of her. Finally freed, the Savage hastily got up and rushed Mack nearby from behind and locked her neck in a fierce headlock with the shirt still over the head.

"Try and get out of this one Mack if you can." Tamara teased awhile strengthening her hold with the headlock.

Surely a few of the woman's ribs had been broken on the right side as the onslaught continued. The other woman had chosen to bite her as her teeth sunk into flesh Mack raised her head outraged where her shirt was pulled up onto her head. The woman had managed to fight her off of her and back to her feet. The headlock came as no surprise as she grasped onto her head.

The goading would only receive punishment, she thought as she stopped her foot down on to the other woman's toe slackening the grip slightly. Mack took full advantage and shimmied out of the shirt revealing the training bra and tight core she had sculpted from exactly this kind of work. The woman left holding only the shirt was nearly defenseless as Mack spun sending a hard roundhouse kick to the same side she had been previously wailing on, careful to make the strike and pull her leg out of reach before it could be grabbed.

After the sure painful move, Mack moved in, grasping the other woman's head she drove a knee directly into her face. She stepped back a few paces breathing heavily. She was tired, but she could not allow the woman to best her and she would show that she had messed with the wrong woman.

Tamara realize her mistake too late when Mack stomped on her toe, freeing herself out of the headlock and her own shirt that Tamara used against her. The Zabrak savage was caught unprepared when moments later Mack continued to strike back at the ribs with a spinning roundhouse kick. This time, searing pain surfaced big time in that spot of the body, but it wasn't over when Mack grabbed her head and threw a knee at it.

But Tamara threw her arms up to block the leg attack to her face yet the strike did push the younger woman back, leaving her both arms and face a bit sore. There have only been a few opponents like Mack she had fought in a ring or otherwise and it was refreshing to have such a worthy challenge again. Judging however by Mack's firm expression this friendly spar had turned into clash of will and dominance. Tamara further noted that Mack was tired but she herself was afflicted with a wound to the right of the ribs torture her each second she breathe and moved.

Realizing in the long run, Mack would prevail Tamara decided to try to even things out so she could manage to score a unrest victory but if noting else make sure that human before her remember how fierce this fight was. Time to cut loose. Farren thought before displaying a defiant scowl and threw the shirt she was still holding outside the ring then let out a feral cry before charging toward Mack.

Despite extreme pain harassing her ribs at such movement,Tamara let the rage and thrill of this fight completely take over her mind. Within distance, Tamara unleashed a furry of straight and hook punches at Mack's head and chest area. This was followed by a few kicks to the hips and knees. Even if Mack blocked most or all of these attacks it was only a diversion from the main attack...a head-butt!

Tamara's head collided with Mack's, forcing the human into a painful pause to which Tamara exploited by following it up with a hard tackle into Mack at her gut and forced both of them down into the mat again.

She could tell the woman was hurting and favoring the side in which she had been wailing on. Then, the woman decided to charge. She led with fists and feet which Mack managed to knock away several but she landed several hits on the chest and a successful kick to the knee which had dropped her to a knee. However, the woman wasn't done and with her momentum and head she slammed into Mack. She went down instantly, the woman on top of her. She could see nothing but stars as she raised her arms to protect her head.

She finally blinked through the pain and inability to see, spotting the woman on top of her. She rolled throwing the woman off and rolled back the opposite direction causing pain to shoot through her head. The stars and pain started to fade after a few unmolested minutes and she regained her footing. The groggy feeling had not subsided but with both participants nursing injuries she decided it best to call the match.

"Well, my dear, you have a kriffing hard head. I won't say that you won, but I don't want to fight on either. Those ribs look mighty painful, you may need to go pay Clark a visit and get them patched up. Now, if you don't mind I think I'll head back and grab a drink," she finished walking to where her shirt had been thrown.

She pulled the shirt back over her head, feeling the bump that had been raised on her forehead. She walked back to where the woman was and extended a hand, as a gesture of respect and finality. "You're welcome to join me if you wish, but I definitely need some ice," she finished with a chuckle pointing to her head.

Even as she had Mack right where she wanted Tamara, couldn't press her advantage. The reason being the internal torture coming from her wounded ribs finally took complete control and all she could do at this point is stay on top of her sparring partner. That changed pretty quickly when Mack rolled off of her and for a second Tamara thought the Exchange boss was going attack her while she was still down. Yet she realized that wasn't the case, watching Mack for the next few minutes getting up on her feet and looking all dazed.

Farren followed suit and became all the more convinced that she couldn't physically keep on fighting no matter how much she wanted to continue. Then she looked over Mack awhile cluthcing her ribs and listen her officially end this fight in a draw and suggest to Tamara see some doctor also that she was going to get drink. Mack got out of the ring and put on her shirt again and actually came back to Tamara and held out her hand then offer to join her in getting refreshments and made a joke about her head injury.

Tamara arched her eyebrow in subtle shock before laughing, normally those who fought her usually didn't want anything to do with her afterward win or lose. This woman was full of surprises and strong, Farren firmly decided that Mack was someone she can follow and listen to...well most of the time on the latter part. Grasping Mack's hand with her own in firm handshake and gave her look of respect, something she didn't give to most people.

"Yea let's go for drinks Boss Lady and I hope you got extra pair of ice for my ribs as well."

With that the fierce fighters walked out of the ring and gym battered yet jubilant for the new found respect to each other that has been forged.
