The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year

For those who don't have xbox live, or want the final version of the game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year edition will be released in this comeing fall.

It will include the original game, The Shivering Isles expansion, Knights of the Nine, and all the downloadable content. All said to be bug-free.

The PC mod is killer, its taking up a huge part of my time, the amounet of new content content added by player mods is frightening.... wanna rebuild Kvatch and be its count? Mod. Wanna join the Mystic Dawn?

I could go on...but its obvious Im STILL hooked on this game. Damn you Bethesda!

With the price drop, I would suggest you get your 360 on the double.

Thats like comparing Tetris and grand-theft auto. They are to completely seperate games, one doesnt even have multiplaer. and if you are trying to compare the singleplayer campaigns...well you just paid sixty bucks to shoot something in the face for what...four five hours? GOW too me was short. For the same price I got thousands and thousands of hours. (Well the PC version any way.... have I honestly told you all how awesome mods are?)

My computer is too shit to run the Bliv, so i've got to stick with the 360 version, where you have to pay for all the shit, and it's only official stuff too. Kind of shows the shortcomings for the 360 when it comes to a mod community.

Still, thumbs up for this game. Took me a while to get into it (Basically because I kept making shit characters - marksman wood elf when I can't aim? :thumbdown: ) But now i've got my Dark Elf pure caster, i'm loving it.

GoW Stinks. It's the most person-friendly TPS [third person shooter] known to man. Try Rainbow Six Vegas.

Anyways, Oblivion is SO fun, On 360 i have 1220/1250 since I didn't cheat to get both dukes of mania and dementia, and I'm too lazy to set up a second character.

What I dont like is the bow & arrow combat. Sure, it saves you but I think your arrows should 1 shot kill in the head. Plus, some things are amazing like...

Taking out entire villages with assassinations.
Tons of Side-Quests

and, buying the expansions.

THEY ROCK.

I prefer FPS games like Call of Duty 2 and 3, and Dead Rising. Played Oblivion, and really didn't care for it. I didn't like Morrowind either.

I would play morrowind but it freezes often so it doesn't work that well. I also played oblivion on another person's Xbox. It was for an hour or so, once I got out into the open, I walked up the mountain and killed some firemage and I began going down the mountain when I had to go home. I haven't played it since.
