Sal kept his eyes on his companions. He now had second thoughts on some of them. He was unsure of their....lets say loyalty.

"I agree we need to act fast and act now... Or we are all going to be dead. And i dont want to wake up dead.....not today."

Sal watched down the hall they had ascended from hoping nothing followed. This show had turned from bad to worse. Secrets....lies....betrayel....even enigmas. All of which drove sal insane, he hated their new found situation and specially now it not being in their favor.

"Look....everything aside? Its either us or them....."

Sal raised his rifle pointing it down the hall he prayed to what ever being was listening, that today was not the day. At least theirs. Sal began to look for the girl,

"I wonder if she knows a way off this place? What if she can help us get off?"

Walking to where the survivor was he bent down to the vent and spoke into it in hopes she was still there and listening.

"Is there a way off? Do you know how to escape? Maybe you know something but could never get there by yourself?.....if there is maybe we can help you, help us???"

Landon kept his eyes focused on Sal, then on several others who spoke up. He had to admit, that being candid from the start would likely have been favorable. The question arose as to what weapons GenCorp was developing, which could hopefully lead them to a better understanding of what they were facing. The mercenary thought back a bit before speaking: "Nothing too outlandish. From what I remember, they were dabbling in enhanced energy weapons that utilized pulse technology over your typical plasma. Normally, pulse technology is restricted to certain types of starships. But the rifles they were churning out were pretty top caliber. The only reason i know anything about that is because i helped them weapons test a few of them. But I don't know the full extent of what they were doing. Obviously..."

The crew's attempts to access more information through the panels was successful, Vosrik able to pull up a detailed schematic of the station on the panel he was located in, with power readouts passable considering the near decade long delay in maintenance. The majority of the power cores of the station seemed intact and well preserved based on the status information, which seemed puzzling. If these power cores were on constantly for over 10 years, there would be obvious signs of degradation, especially if one were to consider the apparent lack of maintenance. And yet, they seemed in a much better state, as if they were... turned off intentionally.

It would not be hard to reactivate power to this section of the station here, at least from what they could see. Whether or not that was a good idea was entirely speculative however.

Also to be found were holo logs of the station's engineering team stationed at this substation. Most of the records were corrupted or deleted, yet one remained accessible should the crew wish to watch it.

Meanwhile, the young woman seemed stricken by Sal's urging, standing there and staring into his eyes as he spoke. She wasn't quite sure if she could trust them like she had trusted those she had known and love. She pulled away and turned to look at a blank panel of wall, her arms folded across her frame. The reason for this wasn't clear, although to be fair, no introductions had really been made with her. They didn't even know the woman's name or who she was. And she hardly knew them either.

As Eve proceeded through the halls, the noises of battle had subsided significantly, with a more distant crash and boom to be heard off to her left (in the hanger the mercenary shuttle had been... destroyed within). At this point, she came across the security checkpoint the team had previously left, mere minutes behind them. The signs of battle were obvious, the four limbed creatures which had recently been killed had littered the floor in heaps. Although she was not in immediate danger, she could hear the chaotic sounds below in the hanger, but also espied footprints etched in the blood of what was likely the fallen creatures.

If she checked the security panel, she would find the schematic Vosrik had pulled up but neglected to download, which would show that the hall the prints were leading down lead to the engineering subsection the crew was currently within. Whatever she did, she would have to do it quickly. The sounds of hunger began to stir more within the hanger off to her side. It was only a matter of time before this location would no longer be considered safe.

8D3 eased off from Sal, but kept a cautious eye on the creature. 8D3 stepped into the hallway, shining his head mounted flashlight down the dark halls. He could see ghostly silhouettes of objects at the edge of the flashlights range. The flashlight only went so far. 8D3 nervously looked up and down the hallway, expecting those creatures to jump out any second. 8D3 felt fear, something he hadn't felt in a while.

The hallways continued on for a while, the noises were a direct guide to her now without a map. The journey through the hallways had become less of a burden on her, without the responsibility of watching out for a partner, she had more freedom to move as she felt appropriate. The flickering lights suddenly meant less, the shadows held less demons, the hallways before her felt significantly empty. And although this wasn't necessarily true, it was just the lack of concern for another in her vicinity. Let alone one of her own. She only had to worry about herself, to which she was extremely confident. Her movements cut short as sounds came from the left, an intersection.

Eve hauled herself around the corner and down into the security checkpoint. Her weapon up and abroad as she scanned for life. With no immediate threats, her attention turned to the chaos around her. Bodies strewn across the floor, but nothing recently human. She inspected the corpses quickly to find the majority were of in-human nature. Like the creature she had encountered earlier, only smaller. The blood was marked through with footprints, the tracks leading all over until finally leading to another exit from the checkpoint. Spying the security panel finally once leaving the fresh battle scene, she headed over to learn what secrets she could. Digging through the machine wasn't overly difficult, a lot of the legwork having been achieved earlier by another. She took what information she could onto a datapad before heading out to follow the sounds and footprints.

At this point, Vosrik wasn't the least bit surprised that the power looked like it was intentionally shut off. "Well, just a few switches need to be flipped and then we have power."

It didn't seem like a bad idea, what could lighting up the place do to hurt them? The Knight took a few short breaths as he mentally prepared himself.

"Here goes nothing," he said as he activated the power to the facility. Now he could focus on what or whoever was drawing very, very near.

Walking up to the door, he thought he could hear the sound of determined footsteps approaching. "Who goes there?" he called out, hoping that he'd get a response from an intelligent being.

Eve neared the entrance to the engineering deck, the durasteel door slid closed and sealed tight. As the woman approached, she would be able to hear the voice of a man on the other side yell: "Who goes there?" If she reached out in the force, she would indeed be able to tell it was another force sensitive being, considering their very close proximity.

Landon kept his pistol trained on the door as he peered out the view hole. It was... a woman? He allowed Vosrik to peer into the viewport as well before reaching over to the lock and disengaging it, the door sliding open with a violent hiss as Landon trained his pistol on Eve:

"Who are you?!"

Tamara turned around to look at the woman standing in the doorway. Other than simply looking dangerous, this woman was somewhat off. She sensed a very familiar feeling in the Force and one she recognised well. She could never figure out what this feeling was associated with, but one thing her father taught her was to look into people's Force presence. For a minute, the woman might notice the young padawan starting at her with very inquisitive eyes.

After Tamara came to a realization, her entire face turned white with a mix of fear, surprise and even some anger. She pulled out her saber once again, activated it and pointed it at Eve.

"She's a Sith!"

Khalen glanced to the young girl as she pointed at the rather odd woman coming down the hall and approaching them, her lightsaber in hand the Trianii shook his head as the conclusion was drawn along with the activation of the weapon. "Padawan put that thing away unless you intend on actually striking with it." A more.. authoritative tone would slip by. It was one of those things that really bugged him internally, the idea of pulling one and activating it. A smile would cross his expression though and the Trianii put on a stronger grin realising this slip and adopted a more.. cheerier form as he carried before, thankful for his own concealment within the force making it difficult to pick him out amongst the rest as someone trained or even sensitive. "Seriously girl, pointing your glowstick at the nearest thing and now this woman coming down the hall and dropping the accusation she's a Sith doesn't that seem a bit.. stereotyping? Sure she might look evil and all that; however that doesn't make them a sith just by looking. We also really do not need you waving that thing about and carving up the hallway and whatever else gets in the way. Lets deal with this in a manner most.. peaceful and focus our aggression and passions for violence if you are inclined to it. On the horrors that stalk us on this station. Yeah? We have more of an issue to deal with." He said, applying some voice of reason to this. A hand slipped into his coat's pocket and dug out the flask. "Besides, in the end it doesn't matter who or what they are. Unless they're involved with the horrors of this station which seems unlikely given her state of dress. We pool our resources."

He smiles up to the woman "Welcome to the Chamber of Horrors." He'd say, taking a drink and putting the flask away.

The woman was slender, with a wiry and strong build indicative of a formal training indicative of her supposed Sith Origins. She had reddish blonde hair, and had a wry grin plastered on her face while the remainder of the team debated about her origins or what to do with her. It tickled her slightly, but she understood their concern.

By the measure of things, it appeared there were at least two in their company that were Jedi. The furry one that spoke in her defense felt a bit different from the rest as well, but could quite place her finger on it. Hearing the inhuman noises from the halls surrounding her, to her credit her voice carried a very calm and collected tone: "I do hate to be rude, but may I come in?"

Eyeing the newcomer with a measure of suspicion, Vosrik continued to keep his composure. What's a Sith doing here...? he thought as he double-checked all the power switches, confirming everything was working properly. The Jedi was still unsure about the reason why it was shut off, but he put it out of his mind as there were more important matters at hand.

While he also disapproved of the Padawan's immediate resort to violence, Vosrik deemed Khalen's reprimand sufficient and refrained from doing the same. So far, the woman seemed to be polite and in need of help.

"Yes, you can come in. You'll excuse us for having some...misgivings." He continued tapping on holoscreens and adjusting power levels. "Sith aren't usually welcome in many places. I assume you've seen the wonderful populace of the station?"

Tamara was a bit shocked and confused at the negative she received. She was sure this woman was Sith, and it was even confirmed! Are they just going to let this woman come with them? What if she's dangerous? Her master had told her to be very cautious of Dark Side users. Every body seemed to letting their guard down around this Sith, even after they were just attacked by those hideous creatures.

The padawan was clearly still distressed from earlier and wasn't willing to let her guard down, but feeling ashamed for what she did, she deactivated her lightsaber and put it away, hanging her head in the process.

Khalen grinned a bit and stepped back after shaking the water canister of his around to test how much there was in there. Comfortable with this he steps back to allow the woman in and adopts a winning, bright smile that is offset by their incredibly grimdark situation. It would look to people that his guard was relaxed with the group and for most it would be. Or at least from an outward perspective. Still, Khalen leaned against a wall to watch everyone with his arms folded across his chest in that casual smuggler-esque manner. "Don't hang your head there, this place has us all wired like Hutts in the Republic treasury. Take a deep breath yeah? Find something you can draw calm from to drive away the shadow. It'll help calm the nerves. Even a temporary respite is a good thing to have."

He would direct to Tamara, his tone and mannerisms conveying a calm sort of direction with it, truly he wished to help the younger woman seek her calm in this situation. Glancing to the rest "Where do we go from here? Control room? Set this lovely little pearl on self destruct to erase any existence of the horrors that were undertaken here or shall we dig into the deep, dark crevices of the computer core for what was done and throw the company and those affiliated under the Senatorial Procession? I'm all for option two honestly. The things done here."

At once, the Sith woman entered the room, the door closing behind her. In response to the question levied to her by Vosrik, the woman smirked: "Why yes, I have met them. Not quite as welcoming as you lot, even with the lightsaber being drawn in my face."

She gave Tamara a look of mock disdain, and proceeded over to an empty chair to rest her legs. It felt good to take the load off. At the mention of setting the station ablaze, the survivor perked up from her somber silence and said: "No! We can't do that! Not until we get the others off!"

The Knight nodded quietly as the Sith casually took a seat. Even though he had allowed her entrance, Vosrik still didn't fully trust the Sith. He would definitely be keeping an eye on her throughout the duration of their escape.

At the survivor's comment, Vosrik raised an eyebrow. "Others? There are even more on board?"

Stepping closer, he gave her a small, calming smile - hoping to further ease her tensions. "Tell me, do you know where they would be?" He motioned to a relatively detailed map he'd been able to pull up from the control panel. It would most likely be much easier to navigate now that the power was on.

"Khalen, would you be able to take a look around in here? Maybe there's something else we could find useful, weapons or even portable devices for carrying around a copy of the station's floor plan."

8D3 stared at the sith. He hated sith. Maybe it was the fact they could tear him apart without even touching him, or maybe it was the fact one of them left a nasty scar across his face. 8D3 kept one hand on his blaster and kept his flamethrower ready. He looked around, everyone had weapons holstered, trusting the sith.

8D3 took a couple steps back from the grinning sith, engaged in conversation with the others. He relaxed, taking his hand off his blaster and folding his arms. He didn't have too much experience with sith, maybe they were better. Maybe they weren't lightsabre wielding sadists like he thought they were.

Khalen looked at the Jedi and waves around a datapad, storage sticks and the like "Yeah I got everything you need to carry a floorplan. What? Don't ever carrya Datapad or wrist computer with you? What kind of preparation did you lot bring?" He asked with a playful grin. He moved around and began to download the floorplan of the facility, at least what he could obtain onto the datapad. "We'll probably need to hit a few different nodes to get different markers but otherwise.. yeah." He frowns a bit as he glances back over them "Weaponry we'll find along the way."
