Incredible was an understatement when viewing the marvel that was the moon of Leth. Shiro couldn't helped but be amazed at this moon, completely designed into an castle by construction droids driven by insanity until shut down. Keeping the Nova rifle at bare, he scanned the surroundings in front of him. Somewhere up ahead scouting through the imported foliage was Thift Cest, a seemly quiet but decidated warrior, from what he seen so far and heard. Their destination was the crash site of the Sith carrier Nisara. According to intel from Priest's team, they, the Jedi, and the Sith all left the moon following the temporary truce to take down the Archtype.

I would like to take their word, but in my experience yesterday's intel can very much turn out wrong, even fatally. He noted quietly within the confines of his ever active mind. Hopefully the droids are down and no other unexpected hosts/visitors to 'welcome' them Shiro concluded while remaining cautious. Meanwhile of colorful birds flew over his head. At that same moment something dropped on his left shoulder pad, startling him a bit. Turning his T-visor view toward the shoulder, Shiro much to his relief and disgust saw it was only bird crap.

Maybe he will do some bird hunting when the Dominion finally take this castle moon, the ex-Republic soldier considered

"Crest anything new at your end?"

He whispered a question through the commlink channel attached in the helmet to his partner's.

"...It's Cest. And not much is new aside from the flora. So ambient." Thrit feels across the flora around him as he treads through the foliage. Thrit wasn't entirely sure about this particular mission. To him, he was sent by his superiors to salvage scraps they could reuse. And with only two of them there to do it, it would take awhile. That's assuming there isn't anything else that is. Aside from the bird's melodious chirps, he couldn't think of nothing wrong as of now.

"Copy that. Keep your eyes on any sign of trouble." Shiro replied back through the comms before focusing back on the jungle path. He had to admit this would likely be a thankless job and an hard one with only the two of them. Perhaps they can call in command for backup to get this op done, Shiro considered.

Meanwhile hidden the brush a dozen yards in front of Cest were a pair of Sith troopers in rebout armor with their rifles aiming for the Mando scout. They already alert the rest of the surviving crew at the crash site of the 'uninvited guests' coming in. They had been charged by their Sith Lord and commander to guard this moon until he retirned with relief. The Nisara crew fully intended to carry out that order. The trooper on the right was about to pull the trigger a hand sized yellow beetle flew on top of his gun.

Cursing inwardly, he fired blindly and missed a wide shot on Cest's left flank. His partner tried to correct the error with a short burst of blaster bolts aiming toward the Mando but the element of surprise was lost and Thift had enough time to counter it.

Thrit is almost caught off guard by the sudden missfire. He quickly draws his R-145 from his back and ducks into the flora, his green CCT armor meshing well with vines and leaves. He takes aim at one of the Sith. "Sith..." Thrit activates his com-link. "Yama, Scratch that. I've come into contact with two Sith. One of them tried to take a shot at me, but he had missed. I'm taking refuge amongst the plant life. I'm tempted to take them both out myself, but since you're my partner on this ship; I'm consulting you first. What do you recommend I do?" Thrit already had two options in mind on how to handle this situation. First option is to shoot them both down where he was. With any blessings, he could take one out while Yama comes from the side or behind and take the last one out. That or they both play diversion and keep the two Sith occupied on both sides. The second option is two confront them at close range. His favorite form of combat. But he remembered the last time he took on two Sith at once... One of THE hardest battles in his life. But boy, wasn't it exhilarating.

Shiro heard the shots rang out some distance away. He had a bad feeling about how seemly easy this op would be and look what happens. When Thift called in, it only confirmed his opinion that the Sith wouldn't leave such a prize un-guarded as this moon if they can help it. When asked what to do, Shiro answered immediately.

"Keep them occupied vod, and I will flank them. If ya can eliminate one or both of them out that fine with me. Just remember if there two then means there likely more of them waiting at the crash site."

With that said and done Shiro used his helmet's HUB to pointpoint his partner's location. Swiftly he used the underbrush and went right circling to edge of the skirmish. The two Imperial sentries likewise relayed the situation to their comrades at the rear, they were ordered to standfast. Meaning win or die and they will complied with it.

"Flush him."

Eik whispered to his squadmate Gren, the one who missed earlier. Nodding Gren pulled out a grenade and tossed to the general direction of where they seen their hostile vanished. Then the sphere exploded, sending sharpal forth in all directions, cutting plants and tree limbs alike in the process.

The others had been on the ground for some time already. Toamwata had arrived late to the moon of Leth. The monstrous individual had been preoccupied and sent as a late reinforcement for this operation. It would seem it was appropriate given the sound of gunfire that reached the Karkarodon and Herglic hybrid as he moved through the forested terrain. While the sounds were somewhat muffled by the dense foliage he knew it was less than one hundred meters from him.

The beastial individual moved closer with his SHR-1 meteor heavy repeating blaster. The weapon usually took two individuals to use effectively but the large size and adept training the warrior allowed Toamwata to use it as if it were a blaster rifle. He weighed fife hundred kilograms of ferocious muscle and stood 2.2 meters in height. He didn't make any effort to conceal his position. The imperial soldiers were likely had their focus on the other two mandalorians.

When he got a line of sight on the Imperial warriors he didn't hesitate to level his heavy weapon and open fire. The stream of blaster rounds would hose the area. The weapon had sufficient kick to it and if the male didn't have arms the size of some people's torso. The shots came at the troops from a direction with no cover between the two of them. Toamwata roared in unison with the weapon's discharge.

One of the shrapnel shards from the grenade hits through Thrit's visor and directly under his left eye. Blood splatters from inside his helmet and out from the small opening in his visor. Thrit writhes in pain in his mind. The moment he lets out a cry of pain, the Imperial soldiers will pinpoint his position and gun him down. And he can't have that. Not today.

Thrit notices Toamwata opening fire at the two from his right eye. Thrit works through the pain and quickly throws a grenade of his own in the air towards them. Thrit then quickly moves from his position and works way to the opposite direction of where the Imperial soldiers are. Once he gets into a comfortable spot, he aims his R-145 and opens fire at them.

Quickly the tables turned on the Imperials with the unexpected arrival of a new Mandalorian who unleashed heavy fire upon them, followed by Thif's counterstrike. They tried to scattered but the volley and grenade proved too much. Eik was cut into pieces by Toamwata and wounded Gren through the legs before being finished off by Thrit. It was all over a moment and Shiro finally rushed upon the scene, examining his Vods' work.

Looking at the unexpected but welcomed ally, Shiro said.

"Glad to have you vod what's your name?" Once it was answered in whatever matter Shiro turned toward Thrift, noting the hole in his comrade's helmet.

"You alright Thrift can ya still see? I imagine we still got plenty of Sith loving bastards to kill at the crash site, we best get going."

Meanwhile when their sentires failed to report in, the Imperials ready themselves, manning makeshift barricades in front of the wrecked ship.

Thrit quickly takes his helmet off and reaches his eye. He feels a small piece of the shrapnel sticking out of under his eye. He pinches it with his his finger nails and quickly rips it out. He moans in pain and flicks it away; he then closes his eye and keeps it shut as his he picks up his helmet and strokes his fingers aross the breach in his visor. It might not work in space anymore but hopefully he won't have to worry about that. Thrit quickly puts his helmet back on and stands up then continues onward.

Even after the enemies were cut down he continued to fire for a half second longer. He had plenty of ammunition and he preferred it when enemies went down and stayed down. Easing his weapon into a more relaxed position the hybrid went over to their corpses and checked them over. "Taomwata Carcharo." he said in his deep rumbling voice.

He grabbed hold with his free hand of one of the imperial trooper's arms and placed a foot on the corpse's torso. With an easy heave the appendage ripped from its socket in a bloody display. The black eyes of the mandalorian stared at the dripping arm and promptly insterted it into his mouth, chewing it and consuming it in two bites.

He grumbled, it didn't taste the same as fish and he wasn't too hungry. He ripped off the second appendage, a leg this time, in a similar manner and took only one bite before dropping the rest of it. He was just bored now and wasn't hungry enough to eat both of the sith troops. "Let's keep moving." Taomwata stepped over the remains and moved towards the next point on their objective list. There was no point in dawdling.

Shiro nodded in sympathy to Thift from seeing his wound and approved of how he handed it. As for mountain of a warrior, Taomwata...well the former Republic soldier found a good reason for missing breakfest, watching the Karkarodon hybrid choked down the limbs of the dead Imperials. He heard stories when younger of the Karkardon eating their foes alive, now Shiro see that there is an element of truth in those tales. The spaceborn human advanced with his brothers in arms and moved on ahead of them for the crash site. They will give no quarter to the Imperials and it is likely none will be accepted. Peering slowly through an branch he noted the defenses around the fallen warship, impressed with their resourcefulness, despite how much he hated them.

Using a tree as cover, Shiro lined up a shot toward an woman moving around the ramparts, in an stained uniform and navel cap and an commanding demeanor. Marking her as an officer, he waited then pressed down on the trigger. The shot flew immediately and struck the officer in the side of the head and she fell dead within seconds. The defenders quickly retaliated, firing a volley of laser fire in the area where they spotted the shot. Shiro hit the dirt behind the trunk of the tree, grasping his rifle.

His act should divert attention completely on him, away from the others,Taomwata and Thift who will make their own move. He smiled, almost pitying the Imperials for what's to come...almost.

Thrit quickly moves to out-flank the Imperial soldiers pinning down Shiro. He notices his plan and quickly takes advantage of the opening. Foolish Imperials. Leaving themselves wide open. Thrit takes his R-145 and aims it at the Imperials. As he fires at them from their sides, he is aiming for their heads the best he can, but ends up missing some shots. It still must be his eye. The pain is irritating him and he can feel some blood rolling down his face like tears. All the while, he fights it off and continues to blast away at some of the Imperials.

The man didn't give the other two that he would be drawing the enemy's fire. This displeased Taomwata to some extent but he didn't gripe about it in the moment. While Shiro took the defensive aggression of the imperials and Thrit's offense the beastial mandalorian moved closer using half of large peice of debris as cover before activating his jet packs. This the distance he had tro travel by at least twenty five percent.

Two of them were manning a heavy repeater set up defensibly with a tripod. The weapon required two ordinary individuals to use even in its mounted state but if it was in Taomwata's large hands he could use it like shiro and Thrit used blaster rifles. Sharkbait as he was affectionatly called, cut the power to his jet pack when he was in line with a heavy repeater crew. One landed on the spotter, crushing his chest with a wet crunch. The five hundred kilo gram mass of the mandalorian was more than enough as it fell with no dampening from his jetpack, softening his impact with the imperial's torso.

He was a berserker behind the enemy's line of defense at this point. The gunner stopped firing the heavy repeater and struggled to draw his side arm at the sight of his comrade being crushed by a two meter tall warrior. There was blood still around Taomwata's mouth from the imperial he had partially consumed earlier and his face opened up in a grin exposing the razor sharp teeth the size of knives. The mandalorian's response was delay a half second only to connect with the surprised imperial soldier in a punch sending him flying. Who's next? He thought to himself looking at the half dozen imperials that still had their back turned to him unaware he was behind them.

Shiro exchanged a few shots back at the enemy positions but the Sith lovers were packing a lot of firepower around his position that most of the bolts were misses. The pressure started to lessen however. If he guessed correctly, his fellow warriors were already making progress.

"Let's get dangerous."

He murmured before rolling out of the shot up trunk and launched a rocket from his jet pack, straight for the remaining repeater emplacement at the center of the line. Upon impact, the missile ignited, causing a small explosion that engulfed two hostiles and scattered the rest into cover. Taking advantage of the lull, Shiro used the pack to fly forth upon the destroyed rampart. Landing on his feet, Shiro pulled his wrist flamethrower and flames burst forth. It actually didn't get anyone but the sight of the fire forced the remaining defenders to fall back.

This only made them better targets for both Thift and Taomwata.

"Good job." Thrit quickly moves slightly closer and throws his last grenade at the disarrayed Imperials, once it goes of; the grenade kills for of them. Thrit takes his R-145 and begins to fire. It won't be long before they've shot down these Sith sympathizers. Thrit's aim is still abit off, but it doesn't stop him from continuing the onslaught.

Taomwata was behind the remaining enemies and used the repeater that he had liberated from the dead imperials and turned it on their allies. If they sought cover from the bestial mandalorian they would expose themselves to Thrit and Shiro. It took only moments for him to mop up the last of the soldiers before the sound of cooling weapons was all that remained.

Looking around he looked over the bodies of the mostly whole imperial troops. He pilfered anything of note but save for some credits there was nothing he kept. He was hungry but preferred the taste of fish at the moment. The site was secure and he waited to return back to Concord Dawn and his lake front home. Maybe he would take a vacation if he had the time to. "We done here?" He asked aloud looking at the other two with his black eyes.

Shiro was switching to his gun when Toamwata and Thift finished off the last of the opposition. Pleased, the ex-republic looked among the imperial bodies to see if any of them twitch but there were none. For a second he stiffen, thinking that the shark-man was going to eat pieces of the dead like once the big fellow strolled over. That passed when it turned out to be simple looting, breathing a sigh of relief he couldn't help but feel proud of what they achieved. Sure to any impartial observers this was a small firefight but for the veteran, it was a personal victory. Looking at both companions, Shiro then answered Taomwata's question.

"I would say we are vod. Drinks on me if you both want to celebrate when we get back to Mandalore later."

Thrit still wasn't all too much for celebrations. He probably won't be, seeing he's going to have to heal his injured eye. He was relieved that they got rid of those pesky Imperials. Those sly fools gave them more trouble than they believed. Now since they're gone, they can probably go back to salvaging whatever might be useful for Mandalore uninterrupted. "I commend you both for your vigor. Now, it's back to salvaging scraps."
