THE COLLECTIVE
Death_Troopers_001.jpg

HISTORY
The Collective was the result of the sabotage of the Yuuzhan Vong treatment plant on Ossus by the One Sith about 41 ABY, where millions of people were infected, deformed, and mutilated. After initial search and rescue operations, the Alliance largely gave up on attempting to save the infected population, and left them. Then the 3rd Purge was ordered, and the Jedi Temple constructed near the original testing site was leveled as well.

The infected populace went into hiding in caves, sometimes taking refuge with the natives, and lived there as savages, without any glimpse of technology for almost a thousand years, preying upon hapless civilians and travelers. Until now.

A young Chiss man by the name of Tran'Karn'Inrokini, Tran for short, took refuge on the planet after the Chiss Ascendancy was slowly turned into a solely militaristic faction, who cared nothing for science and nothing for smart people like him. All with the coming of the Hutt Cartel...
So this is after the time skip.

The desolate population, with the arrival of him and a few friends, worshiped him and his half-technological being as a god, never seen before, able to control strange things with only a small device. And Tran had the power to give it to them.

Tran now sits upon a gilded throne, with thousands of mutants ready to die at his cause... Only time will tell what happens next....

GOAL

The purpose of the Collective is to slowly infiltrate most factions, leeching off credits and resources; and manpower to work in our forges and test chambers as experimental hybrid machines.
We do not want power; nor glory; nor fame. However, we will gladly take those things if we must. We want to see worlds burn as reparation for the sins caused so many years ago.

KEY PERSONNEL

Currently, Tran is the only one with real power. However... the Collective is constantly on the search for bright new minds to lead its forces, because the mutants are stupid; but plentiful.

Manpower, in Tran's opinion, is not a replacement for intelligence.

Recently, however, http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/showthread.php?37342-Xanthus&p=810952#post810952 joined the fray.

1) It was the Alliance, not the Republic.
2) Ossus wasn't affected by the sabotage by the One Sith and as such there would be no mutants on Ossus unless you moved them there.

Thanks for the point-out!

But to #2

Then I seriously misunderstood this article in Wookiepedia. Scroll down to "The Fel Empire and the One Sith"

I read several articles on the Ossus Project and most of them state that while the projects on the other planets were sabotaged and life was mutated, this did not occur on Ossus.

Oh. Strange...

Well, I'll keep it how it is for now, and if an admin shows up, I'll change it. :bitchez

They will be. After the time-skip.

No offense. All the admins said that it was growing too militaristic, so I took it one-step farther.
I should know, I was in the Chiss Ascendancy myself.

Yes, but I've yet to see the admins state it'll be a squabbling mess of warlords.
