• With the success of its cousin, the C-55B aka M-wing, the A-72 Aklay was put into production. The cost of making the former had high risk high reward for the company. But the A-72 does not have the expensive military grade power cores or fancy deflector shields. Instead the company recognizes that pragmatic combat roles and after market modifications are becoming more common place.
  
  Instead focusing on providing the better base characteristics that would not be harmful to the production costs Burnin Koon Shipwright came up with maximizing the speed of the ship for it to both outrun and chase down targets. These powerful engines do have a drawback and force the ship to not be as maneuverable as many of its counterparts, having only average capabilities.
  
  The only stock armament are two forward facing light laser cannons on the wings and a dual light laser cannon on top being mounted on a turret with a three hundred and sixty degree view. This allows the gunner to fend off targets that are on its tail as well as maximize firepower on those ahead of it. While this is somewhat less fire power than what most starfighters have on the market the versatility of directional options is something that no other starfighter has.
  
  The Aklay does possess a rather capable class 4 hyperdrive. It was either that or a deflector shield but the ability to travel between systems was decided as being more important in stock models than the protection of light deflector shields. It comes with a paired navicomputer and ejector seats for the occupants. Enough space inside the ship for the pilot and gunner to interact but little else.

  For his turning in of the bounty Uly Noll Brent was able to purchase this Acklay at its base standards. He has recently acquired a arcainian cutter and is going to use it as spare parts to soup up his actual desired vessel. Underneath the seat he keeps a thermos of jet juice along with a D7 blaster pistol and wrench. The limited storage houses a couple kilograms of welding putt, some medical supplies and any additional equipment he might have along that does not count towards his survival stores like his fusioncutter for starship repairs.
