Site Lore​

Description

Built into the Asonel Mountains on the Deep Core planet of Prakith, The Cathedral was a temple and academy built by Leviticus (@Deviant), and a cabal of Jedi Exiles the Master of the dark side gathered to him during his travels across the galaxy. It is a strong focal point of the dark side as a result of a dark side ritual perpetrated by the group.

The structure itself was built through a combination of the dark side (utilized by Leviticus's group of Jedi Exiles) and manual labor secured from subjugated inhabitants of the planet.

1. Main Room — A large entry chamber lined with statues that depict the Jedi Exiles. The main statue, at the back of the chamber, however, is said to depict one of the local deities worshiped by the people of Prakith. On either side of the deity's statue are large stone staircases that lead to other portions of the compound.
2. Living Quarters — Where the Jedi Exiles who built the Cathedral live. Each has a bed chamber and there is also a makeshift mess hall for eating and relaxing between missions.
3. Training Chamber — Where the residents of the Cathedral go to train with one another. It is a large, expansive chamber, filled with only stone pillars, giving residents room to move around or spar. A door at the back of the chamber led deeper into the mountain: The Altar.
4. Library Chamber — A library for storing manuscripts and other dark side artifacts gathered by the Exiles who built the Cathedral.
5. The Altar — Built over the top of the underground sea on Prakith, the Altar is where the dark side is strongest and is also the location of the final battle between the group and a dark side abomination. The roof of the cave and the altar itself were destroyed in the battle; though the altar was later repaired. Nearby was a small alcove containing a wealth of kyber crystals which could be used in the construction of lightsabers.

Intent

To give a mapped out lore article on the Cathedral/temple built in the Occupying Prakith plot. The design was strongly based upon the Trayus Academy in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Only the Exiles who took part in that plot actually live here.
