Open to Jedi
Vanya felt like she was just "here" not all that long ago. The Jedi had unified for a short time against the threat of Darth Raze and his abominations, but that momentum fizzled out into nothing again shortly thereafter.

The Grandmaster was MIA and the Council was all but absent. A handful of Jedi Knights had run around doing what they could, but they were without support floating on their own. It was time for a change.

Vanya had sent out a message to all the Jedi in the area to - if they could - come to Tython, one of the few secret Jedi Enclaves left in the galaxy that hadn't been raided by the Sith. It was time for something to change, and while Vanya hardly felt confident, she had an idea. One that might well rip the Jedi Order in two.

She waited and gave quiet greetings and nods to those who would arrive and wait until it seemed that most of those who were available had arrived.

Tython was a planet Natalie had never been before. There was a good reason for that, honestly. Tython, to put it bluntly, was boring. If sleeping in class was a planet, it would be Tython. That didn't matter though. Natalie had received a message from a Jedi she was starting to get to know fairly well. They'd been on a couple of adventures together. An aggressive negotiation duo, so to speak. So Natalie came, complete with a take-out container of fried meat on a stick that she even paid for legitimately this time. One step closer to being the battle nun everyone wanted her to be.

Dress in a black tank top and jeans with her lightsaber hilt holstered horizontally at the small of her back, Natalie made her way through halls of the enclave. When she saw Vanya, she knew she had the right place. Look at her with her night sistery... night-sisterness. Instead of taking a seat or a position where every one else would, Natalie stopped by Vanya, holding out the take out container of fried meat on a stick.

"I paid for it all by myself this time," Natalie said with a shit-eating grin from ear to ear. She took a bite from the stick in her hand. No use going into tense situations on a tense stomach. Whatever had called them all here was bound to be a doozy; like that one holo where the villain was all like "no man can kill me" and the woman was like "I'm no man" and then killed the bastard. Good holo, that one.

Kane had finally managed to learn how to walk on his prosthetics. While they looked like perfectly normal legs to onlookers, they were a constant reminder of Kane's loss against the Sith on Genassa. Even with his constant training, he still relied heavily on Liana to help him in their recovery. Now they had been called to Tython, interrupting their nightmare filled recovery. It wasn't the first time Kane had been here, it probably wouldn't be the last. Kane had a sneaking suspician it was in the same vein as last time, too.

With a tight fitting, dark grey hoodie and jeans, Kane entered the room, nodding to the two Jedi that were already there before making his way silently to a seat. His dark eyes scanned the room, and the Jedi, from under his shoulder length black hair. He was tired, but his gaze was still piercing. Gone was the innocence and well wishes from the last time he was on Tython. Kane had seen what the galaxy had to offer, and he was in no mood to pretend like the Jedi were doing anything to stop the galaxy from offering the death that it did.

Tycho Denarii was tired.

The wounds from his desperate attempt to hold back the Darkness that had engulfed Denon were deep and slow to heal; a bacta patch covered much of the right side of his face while his right arm was in a sling and he walked with a rather severe and noticeable limp. Deeper still were the marks left by the dark powers his opponent had wielded; the Ithorian healer he'd been tended by said that his presence felt like a bruise in the Force, and his mental shields were still in shambles after the Sith Lord had plundered his mind searching for doubts and fears to use like a weapon against him.

Healer Jokolto had cautioned him against leaving the Halls of Healing, that his wounds wouldn't be stable until he'd gone through at least another round or two of Bacta immersion, but the summons that had come over the Jedi Comms relay was too important to disregard. The Ossein Knight did not consider himself to be anything special; more often than not he struggled with doubts about the role of the Order and his place in it - but he had spent the last years struggling to be a Light for the people surrounded by darkness in the Galaxy, and he had to believe that the Order he had joined was meant to do more, be more, than what they were now.

Wearing a plain long-sleeved tunic and pants he'd borrowed from the Halls as his own flightsuit and robes were still being cleaned and repaired, Tycho limped into the Enclave Hall where the meeting was to take place and dipped his head in greeting to his fellow Jedi and looked for a comfortable stretch of wall to lean against.

Jedi Master.

Ezra still wasn’t used to the title. In fact, he made a special request to not have a ceremony or public celebration for his ascension. Ezra didn’t like people and gatherings to begin with and having that kind of attention was more Dash’s thing, not his. When he saw this call go out, he found it amusing considering he had done the same not so long ago. As expected, the momentum fizzled out. He was skeptical about this, but Master meant he felt slightly more obligated to show face.

The Jedi stepped into the scene but stayed in the back, leaning against a back wall with his arms crossed over his chest. He knew several of the folks here, and he liked Vanya enough to show up to listen to whatever she had to say.

It was like a fight, the way Tython’s serenity competed with the somberness of the gathering. Myrell’anay hadn’t spent as much time here as she liked, habitually kept busy by medbays and civilization. But this was different. Every familiar face present could feel it. These were the people Myrell had stood with, fought beside, kept standing.

So few of them. Barely a handful.

No longer could they close their eyes on the truth. They weren’t up to the task. All of the galaxy’s flavors of evil were gaining ground, the Sith Order, the abominations loyal to Raze, even the Empire and the Hutts, and the Jedi were powerless to oppose any of it. When was the last time an action of theirs had sent ripples through the galaxy? Their latest grand gesture? Even killing Raze had been the Empire’s doing even as they carved Jedi territory. No, if their order was to survive, fundamental change was required. Urgently.

Though she acknowledged everyone who looked her way, Myrell took place next to Kane, the knight she’d known on Coruscant. With yet another injury, another setback, harsher eyes. Nightmares, no doubt. Like Ashen, Thunger, and all the others. Under different circumstances, she might have said something, but for now she only nodded in respect as she waited for Vanya to speak.

Alhazred had been on tython only twice in his life. And each time he enjoyed it immensely. The planet's presence in the Force was one of the most beautiful songs he had ever heard, both physical and mental. Other places in the galaxy could compete with beauty, tranquility and resounding serenity, but tython overturned them all easily. The overture of tython in the Force made alhazred happy to be sensitive in the Force.

That said, this meeting made alhazred nervous. He did not have a full picture of the situation, but enough if it made him uneasy. It was like a purposely off-beat chord in the choir. It added beauty, but it still seemed strange.

Alhazred entered adjusting his turban again, his enlarged head tendril making the turban a bit more difficult to maintain. In his off hand, he carried some nutrient filled pills, which he popped into his toothless maw every so often.

He bowed to everyone as he entered. He recognised his lower position compared to everyone. While he was older than most in age, he was a student amongst teachers. Some of the beings he recognised, but not all. While alhazred suspected he had little to add, he would not miss an opportunity to learn from his metaphorical elders. Taking a seat near the twilek who he met after the starweird incident, alhazred waited patiently for whatever came next.

Perun, with his distinctive white fur and golden eyes, stood apart in the enclave on Tython, a striking figure even among the diverse assembly of Jedi. The ambient serenity of the planet, usually a calming balm, today seemed to clash with the undercurrent of tension in the air. As Jedi Masters and Knights gathered, each bearing the weight of their own trials and tribulations, the room brimmed with an array of emotions - from determination to weariness, from hope to skepticism.

As Perun surveyed the gathering, a playful thought danced in his mind. "What do you call a group of Jedi congregated like this?" he mused silently. "A wisdom of Jedi? A meditation of Jedi? Or perhaps, in these trying times, a resilience of Jedi?" He chuckled softly to himself, finding amusement in the whimsical idea, a light moment in the midst of solemnity.

Perun's presence was like a vibrant splash of color. His stance was relaxed, yet there was an unmistakable alertness in his posture, a readiness that came from years of navigating the galaxy's perilous landscape. His eyes, those shimmering pools of gold, scanned the room with an intelligence and acuity that belied his often jestful demeanor.

His senses, keenly attuned to his surroundings, picked up on the subtle shifts in the Force as each new arrival added their own energy to the mix. The air was thick with the scent of determination, the quiet rustle of robes, and the faint metallic tang of lightsabers. Perun's fur bristled slightly, a natural response to the charged atmosphere.

His hands rested lightly on the hilt of his dual-phase interlocking lightsabers, a reminder of the many battles he had fought and the allies he had made along the way. The vibrostaff at his back, a symbol of his martial prowess, was a quiet testament to his readiness for whatever challenges lay ahead.

As Perun surveyed his fellow Jedi, his gaze momentarily lingered on Ezra Thorne (@Sreeya), an old acquaintance from their shared mission on Pillio when they were both Knights. It had been some time since he had last seen him, and Perun wondered what the man might have been up to. He had of course heard about the massive success of the EZPhone and the brand new revenue stream in brought to the Jedi Order. Perun hesitated to approach, mindful of Ezra's seeming preference to avoid sentient contact as much as humanly possible. He instead offered a subtle nod, choosing a respectful distance and an unobtrusive gesture of camaraderie.

The gathering was a convergence of paths, each Jedi bringing their own unique experiences and perspectives. Perun knew that whatever Vanya's (@Phoenix) idea was, it had the potential to alter the course of the Jedi Order. His instinctive wariness of change was tempered by his understanding that evolution was essential for survival.

Dash was almost late, as he usually was to these things, but not fashionably so this time.

He had not felt like coming at all. His ribs were still screaming from the injuries he had sustained on Bastion and his pride was wounded even more deeply. Dash had failed completely, and not for the first time. Captured Jedi and their allies were now on their way to Imperial imprisonment, torture and worse, all because he was not good enough. It made him want to both rage and cry.

Of course Ez was here, stranding there looking perfect as always. Unlike Dash, his partner had never stopped moving forwards and had already ascended to master. The contrast only added to the Rhinnalian’s foul mood tonight, but he sidled up to stand next to Ez all the same, hoping to feel even slightly less alone.

No doubt there was going to be a lot of talk about what they should do, what they must do. Dash was frustrated and tired of it all. He was not sure he could listen to any bullshit today.

Vanya was nervous. She had practiced what she was going to say while pacing across her room for the better part of three hours, and none of it sounded... right. She had eventually settled on the gist of what she wanted to say but she was worried it was going to come off as... she didn't know: either preachy or incompetent. After all, she was only a Jedi Knight, what authority did she have to speak on this?

The offer of paid for snacks by Natalie was a welcome one and some of the other familiar faces like Ezra's were reassuring. But there were other faces here she didn't know as well and faces of people she knew only in passing like Myrell who she didn't know how they would take her proposal. She may well find herself thrown out of the Jedi altogether, although... who was even around to enforce that?

It came as no surprise that no one from the Council could even bother to come. It was the exact reason that she had asked them all here.

Thank you all for coming, she said, and those who had known her better may notice that her accent seemed just a touch thicker than normal: a sign - whether they knew it or not - of how nervous she was.

I don't really want to make a long speech. We all know the Jedi Order has been struggling and as we spoke about the last time we were here, the Council is absent and apathetic, she said.

We've tried to be lone warriors and secluded people fighting for the Light but... we're losing, she said. The frank assessment wasn't a nice one, but there was no point in beating around the bush about it.

History tells us that in times past when this has happened, the Jedi have taken on the role of Lords and raised armies, ruled planets, and brought the full weight of the galaxy to bear. There isn't any political power fighting against the darkness anymore. The Republic and FWA are gone, which means that it's going to be up to us, she said.

I believe its time that the Jedi Order either... reorganize itself without a Council or that those of us who are actively fighting this evil break free of the Council, she said.

Empower those who are already doing the fighting to raise an Army of Light, to rule and protect sectors of the galaxy and to take it as our responsibility to drive back this evil again. There aren't enough of us to do it alone anymore, but those of you who are already out there... need to be empowered to do what needs to be done, she said. She was pretty sure that had all just come out as a blob of words, but she could only hope that the message had gotten through... and how it would be received: she had no idea.

Just having Mr. Jawline enter the room was enough to get Natalie to stop eating, but then Daddy Frost came in right after? Neither one acknowledged her at all, which was great! Last time they had teamed up against her, and literally took her breath away. There was nothing in the galaxy more embarrassing than having a tiny amphibian yelling that their friend needed help because they couldn't breath after a perfectly executed dual-smolder. Won't let that happen this time! No way.

If Natalie hadn't already stopped eating her fried meat on a stick, she would have when Vanya was done giving her speech. Once again her lack of staying awake in history class was biting her in the ass; Natalie had no idea what a Jedi Lord or an Army of Light was. She could make an educated guess, though. It flew in the face of everything she'd been taught as a Jedi. She herself flew in the face of those teachings. Just on their last adventure, she was yelled at by Vanya for stealing a single credit bag of snacks.

The serious nature of the speech wasn't lost on Natalie, though. Jedi breaking away from the council had happened many times in the Order's past, that she knew. Each time was a desperate ploy and many times worked out in the Jedi's favor only to turn bad in the end. It could cause a schism in the Order like it had so many times before. Traditional Jedi versus ambitious Jedi. Was trying to save innocent lives really ambitious though? Natalie had always been more of a sentinel type of Jedi, seeking out problems rather than waiting for them. Vanya's suggestion sounded like it would only help her in that endeavor.

Instead of saying anything, Natalie shifted her box of food to one hand, and placed her now free hand on Vanya's shoulder. Natalie gave her a shit-eating grin again and quick nod. Even without Lords and fiefdoms and armies, Natalie would still do exactly what she had always done. Though she would be lying if she said the thought of building a temple or enclave on a distant world filled with actual chefs and good food hadn't crossed her mind.

All the same faces as the last call to action. There were less of them now, though. Kane's dark, piercing gaze spotted Myrell on her approach. A lot had happened since Coruscant. The I-beam throwing monstrosity they had fought together seemed like a child compared to the Sith on Genassa. And even then, the Jedi sent to rescue civilians had done more harm to the Genassan people than the Sith did. While Kane and Liana were fighting to the Sith, the others were knocking out presidents and forcing people to evacuate. There was a nice dent in the gurney side-table in the Takodana hospital where Kane had read the reports now. He gave the twi'lek a small nod, shifted his gaze to the speaker and lsitened.

What the speaker was suggesting would fix every frustrating thing Kane believed the Order was plagued with. No leadership to speak of meant Jedi had no where to go and no direction. Saving people from evil was a good premise to go by, but the sheer amount made it impossible to cover every planet. The one fleet the Jedi had couldn't be everywhere at once, and the lack of an army meant they relied on less than ideal mercenaries. And that was if the Jedi could even show up.

"So fiefdoms that provide support for the overall governing body?" Kane asked, his gaze fixed on Vanya (@Phoenix ). "Who would that governing body be if the Order splits, and those of us with the Army of Light are exiled?"

Dash did not really know Vanya, but he did his best to give her a fair hearing. Struggling. Yepp, he definitely agreed with that.

She spoke of the Jedi reforming to take planets and raise armies. It would not be easy, or the Jedi Order Dash had ever known, but it was at least creative.

Soil and soldiers might give us a better chance against the Empire” he said coldly, ”they rely on the same. But what of the Sith? They can’t be defeated with just weapons and resources. You have to hit them with power, and more than they have”. He had thought himself strong enough in the Light, but he had failed every time, Berchest, Kashyyyk and the rest. Reorganising would do them no good in the end if there simply were not Jedi strong enough in the Force.

There’s nothing to break away from” Dash sighed “the Council has faded to nothing. Choose a new one, or choose someone or something else to lead the Order”. He shrugged, looking around at the others. “There can’t be anyone who thinks this is working?“. His face contorted in challenge.

Alhazred frowned. The words coming from the jedi sounded more like generals and warlords, not peacekeepers and mystics. True, the jedi were no longer those like in the republic long ago, but still...

Alhazred considered speaking, but ultimately decided against it. He was too 'young' in the ways of the force to speak yet.

Levet often found himself alone and through no fault of his own. But after having so much distance from his friends and comrades he found himself wishing for more interaction. His master had been injured on Bastion and as a result Levet had gone on an assignment or two while Dash was recovering. The young mandalorian padawan was resourceful and could look out for himself, but he could not help but feel a bit lonely.

There were many Jedi in attendance and some of whom he recognized. But since Levet had yet to pass the trials he was quiet in the presence of his betters. Levet was wearing his helmet when he joined his fellow Jedi and it hid his smile as he saw his master up and moving about.

The padawan stood by his mentor and looked around at the others. Levet was young but he had a lot to learn. Now at this intersection in time and space he would bear witness to the changes that would impact the galaxy forever.

Perun stood amidst the assembly of his peers, his golden eyes reflecting the complex emotions and ideas that filled the room. As Vanya's words resonated through the enclave, a sense of unease settled in Perun's heart, tinged with the acrid scent of fear and uncertainty that seemed to emanate from some of his fellow Jedi.

"Vanya (@Phoenix)'s proposal," he started, his voice a blend of wisdom and weariness, "it's a drastic step, diverging from the core principles of our Order. We are guardians of peace, not lords of war. Yet, we're stewards of balance too, and if the galaxy's scales tip towards darkness..."

Perun's gaze drifted across the room, pausing momentarily on Kane (@TheDudeMike). "You're right, but the ruling governments have been as still while the galaxy burns. The Killiks invasion, the resurgence of the Sith, Darth Raze's abominations... we can't expect salvation from them. Perhaps, it's time we took a more... proactive role."

He paced slowly, his steps deliberate, as he drew upon the historical parallels. "The first reformation of Jedi Lords was born from necessity, much like our current plight. Jedi became rulers to protect those abandoned by the Republic. But remember, history is a tricky beast. It shows us both the glory and the downfall of those times. Are we ready to dance with such a double-edged sword?"

The room seemed to hang on his words, the weight of history pressing down upon them. "If we walk this path, checks and balances are crucial. The Jedi Council, for all its faults, ensures no single Master wields excessive power. Even the Grandmaster is bound by its rulings. In a system where Jedi hold dominion over sectors, who reins in the power? Who ensures we don't stray from our path?"

Perun's fur bristled slightly as he spoke, a physical manifestation of his inner turmoil. The proposal before them was a monumental one, capable of reshaping not only the Jedi Order but the galaxy itself.

"We stand at a crossroads," he concluded, his voice resonating with a mixture of caution and resolve. "Let's tread carefully, lest we lose ourselves in our quest to save others. Remember, the brightest light casts the darkest shadow."

Tycho's first, visceral reaction was one of revulsion - history had borne out again and again that Jedi were not meant to be Lords and Leaders of worlds and armies. It went against everything the Jedi were meant to do, to be; Guardians and custodians of peace and the Light, not seekers of power and control. While the Jedi Lords of the past had offered stability and peace to the systems under their control, they also established dynasties and fell into the trap of greed and ostentatious displays of wealth from their grand manors and castles as they sought more and more power. It was dangerous to open a Jedi to that sort of temptation; many would argue it was a clear path to the Darkside.

And yet...

The Dark was only growing more powerful. Abominations were reported running rampant on Onderon, and Tycho had witnessed firsthand the devastation the Sith had wrought on Genassa and Denon. On both worlds the Jedi had tried to stand alone against the Sith, and on both worlds they had failed; Tycho was dismayed to learn a Knight DiVos had fallen to a Sith's blade while Tycho was across the city locked in his own desperate battle and he had personally evacuated the mutitlated survivors of the Genassa attack. Whether they wanted to admit it or not, the Jedi did not have the resources or the strength to hold back the Dark alone.

Limping forward from his spot against the wall and turned to meet the eyes of all the assembled Jedi. Tycho knew that he did not appear an inspiring figure - wounded in both body and spirit as he was, but he swallowed past the pain and doubt and lifted his voice above the whispers following the simian Master's warning.

"The question of checks and balances is moot when we do not even have a ruling Council worth the name. We are rudderless, leaderless, racing between crisis after crisis and trying to put out fires on worlds like Genassa... like Denon - all the while losing more and more knights. The Sith are sacrificing whole worlds to darkness... and I- we have been powerless to stop them."

He took a shaky breath, trying to release his pain into the Force and fortify himself; perhaps he should have listened to the Healer and not strained himself, but there was more he needed to say.

"I don't know if naming ourselves Lords and raising an Army is the right course of action... but I fear it may be the only one left if we have any hope of saving the galaxy from the darkness of the Sith. We need new leadership, but more than anything we need to act. The Galaxy... the Force itself is crying out for the Light. Can't you all feel it? Can't they?" he questioned, raising his hand to point at the empty chambers where the Council would gather.

Scorpio had entered late, and so he had taken place in the back as the Masters, Knights, and a few Padawans, including his own in Alhazred(@Narzen) all began to gather here on Tython. The place where it all began, the birth place of their forefathers, and even unbeknownst to him, the birthplace of his own family lineage, House Armegedon. He had heard it's name, even studied about it under his father. But he had never been here before. And as he took in the world around him, the very Force its self resonated with the moment he could see.

And what he saw, what he heard, and what he experienced within the moment resounded advertly, in his heart. Not so much as a moment of treason, as the Order wasn't militaristic. And yet, it felt like a wrenching blow to the gut none the less. It verged on the edge of possibility. And it was one he did not like one bit. After the others (@Vanya, @Dash Pavan, @Kane Seros) finished, Scorpio stood to speak, casually straightening the folds of his Luka Sene Robes as his silvered blind eyes looked forward amongst the masses.

"This isn't just wrong, and it feels deeply wrong to me, but it's ludicrous. He spoke with firm conviction. "Vying up lands, worlds, sectors?Ruling? Have we learnt nothing from our past? Of what power brings?"

Scorpio let his words linger upon the moment, letting his convictions intermingle amongst the flow of the Force with his intent to be the voice of clarity and reason. To play with a double edged sword only brings the when of one being cut and excludes the if. What they were considering, wasn't a matter of if, but when.

"Which of you will be the first to fall? To become the next great threat." His gaze shifted across the landscape of Jedi, reinserting the seriousness of what they sought. "It will only be a matter of when, not ifs."

Scorpio sighed. He felt their plight. He truly did. To be leaderless, without the wisdom and balance of the Council nor the Grandmaster left the Order in chaos and turmoil, a living body with no head, mere survivalism. To ask an Order to remain without, only fabled desertion and limits. It was an impossible ask, and yet, the Order still managed to rise to its challenge. There was still yet hope. Patience was the inevitable virtue.

"Re-Elect a new Council if need be, and elect a new Grandmaster if necessary." Scorpio concluded, shaking his balled fist level with his waist to emphasize his empathy. "But remain true to the path of the Jedi Order, true to the lightside of the Force. We are servants, never rulers."

The air hung heavy with urgency, far above the young padawan's level of expertise. The backbone of the Order— Knights and Masters alike, gathered and debated the future of the Jedi, while the Council at its head remained silent.

Johan knew little about the full extent of the situation out there across the wider galaxy, but he has seen Coruscant. The outcome of horrors that were permitted by a complicit High Council. He has witnessed the public's grim outlook on the Jedi, even on his staunchly neutral home world. One didn't have to be a Knight, a Master, old or wise to see change was needed.

But for the time being, the young Sverender felt complacent to simply listen as opinions and ideas were suggested. The mention of 'Jedi Lords' and an 'Army of Light' stuck out to him the most, however. Taking a more proactive role against the darkness was exactly what the Jedi needed to do in his eyes.

Yet even so, he has witnessed the corrupting influence of power and authority as it festered in every vestige of his family's legacy. An upshot that a path of war and destruction is sure to guarantee.

Harald attended. He was down on himself, we launched some efforts that didn't go far for various reasons. Either due to lack of follow through or because outside forces. But the Sverend-native heard things he never expected to hear. Jedi Lords? Jedi Armies? Harald heard. He remembers the lessons about that time in the Jedi's history. What is being purposed now was nothing short of radical. But however radical, it could be game-changing. That's what the Jedi needed. But however, the diplomat was on board with it for practical reasons. They naysayers had good points, but the benefits of this were obvious and it far outweighed what was going on with the status quo.

"Now more than ever, we need strong leaders and armies to follow. The system we have right now was great in a time of peace, but time and time again it was shown that the Jedi Order as it is now is not a working model in a galaxy at war. It's beyond fixing at this point, no matter if we 'fire' the council, chose new ones and get a new Grandmaster. Repeating the same actions and expecting different results will not work." Harald said.

"Our enemies claim many worlds, they have strong leadership, they also command fleets and armies. To combat them, we need to be able to do the same thing. A band of Jedi - no matter how brave or powerful - cannot fight against hordes of monsters, troopers, or fleets. There is no Republic or FWA to help us. No one else will help us. We are fortunate to have a number of worlds that side with us, but our influence risks waning if we stay idle. We need to act now. Under a Jedi Lord and Jedi Generals, we will be able to integrate and command the forces of worlds that fall under our sphere of influence. With a united Army of Light, we would have not only a way to take the fight to our enemies, but a viable way to come out on top."

Harald nodded his head. "Not to mention the diplomatic benifits of having a codified and unified system. We would have much more weight in terms of diplomacy. We could actually perhaps have a more serious claim to be in the Galactic Senate"

He would look over to the naysayers, particularly Scorpio @Mythos "Even with the Jedi Lords and Generals, we will always be servants of the Light as we combat the Dark. We can select the most stalwart in the Light to take up the mantles. Once the threat is over, we can revert the system."

To Vanya @Phoenix "I support your proposal. If you need any help codifying the logistics of all this, I can help." he said firmly. Harald was not one to mince words at a time like this.
