Nar Shaddaa, shortly after the events of Super Hutt Ball

The smuggler's moon was even more active and mischievous than usual tonight, in a planet where people stabbed and shot each other every single minute for a couple credits or less, every single one of the assholes that lived on Nar Shaddaa actually banded together and had fun watching the same sport: Huttball, a gracious game involving a ball and lots, loooots of violence.

Of course, Khalid loved both Huttball parties and the worldwide party that always came afterwards. But this time it was even more special than normal: Not only did he have the chance to party like an animal after the match, he also had the opportunity to do so alongside his two brothers, one of them having actually taken part in the bloody thing and won, Khalid couldn't feel more proud of his little brother, of course he had to show the both of them how to party on Nar Shaddaa as a reward.

"Yea ma, I'm gonna go pick up Tai now" Khalid said as he talked with their mother through his phone, who had been shouting at him for the past twenty minutes, Khalid just picking up the phone after seventy missed calls "Yea ma, I'll make sure lil' Tai is safe" Khalid replied as he looked at Jabari, as the big bro and the one most used to their parents shouting at him for being a troublemaker, he had decided to take the brunt of their mother's scolding this time "No, 'Bari ain't with me right now, sorry ma...Yea, I'll tell 'im for ya, sorry ma, love ya ma" After hanging up, Khalid let out a long sigh, he was pretty sure he would need to apply some bacta to his ear tomorrow or he would permanently lose his hearing with that one "Ma says she's gonna have a talk with ya fer not pickin' up yer phone"

And so, the two brothers finally arrived at the exit for the Huttball players, crowds of people cheering, howling and going almost feral while the various Gamorrean bodyguards made sure they didn't jump on the players once they came through the exit. With a smile on his face, Khalid used the force to jump quite high and land right in the middle of the red carpet while the guards were distracted, urging Jabari to follow right before he put on some fancy looking sunglasses. Of course, one of the bodyguards started to approach him, but Khalid signaled him to stop with a small on his face "I'm Raging Bull's manager, my partner 'ere is his bodyguard, don't worry about it."

And just after that was said, Altair would finally come through that exit, a smile on the small big bro's face before the crowds went wild and started cheering "Aight, Raging Bull's signature is limited folks! Only ten people can get it, five hundred credit's per autograph, two hundred if you are a hot girl and want it on yer boobs!" Khalid pulled down his sunglasses and winked at the Raging Bull who had surely noticed them by now, by the force was it nice to see him again "Hey 'Bari, make sure they don't get rowdy while he does autographs, boy needs ta be in good shape"

Jabari was practically on cloud nine after the results of the Huttball game. Like most of the Din clan, the Tiefling was an advert follower of the sport under normal circumstances - and the fact it was his own brother who was playing, won, and claimed the MVP title meant that the Tiefling was absolutely ecstatic. He couldn’t feel more proud of his little brother in that moment, and Jabari hadn’t stopped smirking like a dumbass since the announcement was made.

Not to mention, his brief back-and-forth with Ilana Morta also did wonders for his mood. Even if he ultimately ditched the MortaCorp executive to go celebrate with his brothers, the fact she had even looked his way at all - let alone flirt - had him feeling like a million credits.

The Tiefling walked alongside Khalid towards the Huttball Stadium exit, hands tucked into his pockets while his tail flicked happily behind him. He wore a pair of
dark jeans and a tanktop, while his black-and-white hair was pulled back away from his face. Of course, the fact that Khalid was on the phone with their mother meant that Jabari was walking a few paces further from his brother than usually - as if he was anticipating the Din matriarch to reach through the phone to backhand him, and instinctively tried to put himself beyond reach.

Jabari glanced over when Khalid hung up, walking a few steps closer to give his brother a supportive few pats on the shoulder. "Ma rip ya a new ass?" He said with a grin. He blinked a few times when the older Tiefling mentioned their mother wanting a word with him for not picking up his phone. The color immediately drained from Jabari’s face before he rapidly pulled out his commlink - realizing that he had the damn thing on silent. His jaw dropped a bit, burgundy eyes wide as he stared down in abject horror at the sight there.

>Missed Call: Ma
>Missed Call: Pa

Jabari swallowed the lump in his throat, staring blankly at his commlink before lowering it and grasping at his horns. "..I'm fucked." He muttered quietly before showing Khalid his homescreen. He already knew they were going to get some flack from their mother after the entire Huttball situation, and now Jabari had quite literally zero doubt that where was going to hell to pay for ignoring her calls. The only thing that Jabari could hope for was the possibility that Altair's victory and MVP title would result in a tune shift from his mother and she would be too busy celebrating her son's victory to try to tan his hide.

The Tiefling shook his head before continuing on towards the Huttball player exit, narrowly dodging between the rabid fans that swarmed all about. The moment that Khalid leapt into the air, Jabari followed him close behind - calling upon the Force to carry him high into the air and land gracefully on the middle of the red carpet. The Tiefling blinked a few times as he looked at his surroundings.

Without a word to Khalid, Jabari shamelessly wiped out his commlink and opened up his camera. He angled the camera upwards to take a selfie with the celebrity red carpet in the background, sticking out his long tongue and flashing a peace sign as he snapped the picture. Cause when the hell was he ever going to walk the red carpet again?

With that, Jabari continued alongside Khalid. He flashed the Gamorrean guard a grin when the older Tiefling introduced him as the bodyguard, going so far as to flex his arms for the bovine. "What 'e said." He said confidently before facing back ahead - burgundy eyes settling upon Altair exiting the arena and starting to approach. Jabari flashed his younger brother a wide grin, tail flicking back and forth happily. The Acolyte was sure to notice both him and Khalid by this point, and Jabari didn't hesitate from that point to walk right up to his little brother. "Alright - bodyguard comin' through." He stuck his hand out towards the crowd as he walked up to Altair.

Altair still didn’t process anything that happened. His head still throbbed from the concussion and he had a burn on his arm, but he was up and about. He was catapulted into a series of interviews and he barely sounded coherent. He was carrying his trophy and barely got done saying goodbyes to his team and shaking hands with the enemy team. Altair was dazed and he was ushered through crowds.

After a moment, he spotted some horns he recognized and instantly cheered up. He practically elbowed past people to make a beeline for his brothers, “Y’ALL ARE HERE?!” Altair practically screamed, rushing forth to playfully headbutt both his brothers. He immediately regretted the decision, the pulsing pain from his head returning at once. Altair groaned and wobbled a bit on his feet but he shook it off.

“Did y’all see me?! Fuckin’ MVP!” Altair said excitedly, showing off his trophy, “Think Ma’s gonna like it after she gets done whoopin’ my ass?” He asked with a grin.

“Yo, I got money now, I gotta buy you gents some DRINKS!” He threw his arms around his brother’s shoulders, “Where we goin’?”

He turned to look at Khalid, “I’ll give you 20 credits to shut the fuck up and not bring up the time I used a bowcaster and blaster…”

Khalid simply let out a chuckle as Jabari showed him his homescreen before he showed his seventy missed calls back, ma had reached out for the oldest of the three stooges first, deciding to call Jabari after she thought calling Khalid was a lost cause. Khalid patted his brother on his back before smiling and shrugging with his shoulders "If you are lucky ma will be too tired ta kick yer ass after she's finished kickin' mine" Khalid simply added before moving forward.

Of course, when Altair came for the headbutt, Khalid readied himself and planted his feet before Altair's horns collided with his. Usually the smaller tiefling could stumble into the ground after being headbutted by his brothers, even if it was done playfully. but this time it seemed like Altair was the one feeling the aftermath, with made him chuckle "Too much usin' yer head for someone with such an empty one, eh?" Khalid teased before taking a look at the trophy, boy oh boy was it beautiful "Ma's gonna gloat and tell our neighbours about how good ya were after tannin' yer sorry hide for sure...Real proud of ya, Tai." Khalid replied with a smile on his face before ruffling Altair's hair.

"Deal." Taking no time at all to accept Altair's twenty credit offer, Khalid looked at both of his brothers after Altair asked where they were going, just in time for them to notice a taxi cab arriving, one he had called on the way there "I've got it all planned, bodyguard, lead ta way!" Khalid jovially ordered Jabari before following behind, his gaze focusing on the different crowds that were forming just to see the Huttball superstar "Right now you're ta most popular man on ta planet, Tai, with yer name alone you can get us in ta biggest nightclub there is on this 'ere planet" The cowboy tiefling explained as they reached the cab, deciding to ride shotgun as a very happy taxi driver waited for him to tell them where to go, surely he would tell stories in the future about how he drove a Huttball MVP to his other clients "To ta Five galaxies!"

Jabari’s face lit up like a gaudy Life Day Tree when Altair appeared from the crowd, carrying his trophy and looking every part the badass that he knew his little brother to be. There were few things in the Galaxy that got the tiefling as excited and genuinely happy as seeing one of his siblings after an extended absence, and it had been a hot minute since he had last caught up with his little brother.

“DAMN STRAIGHT WE ARE!” Jabari called back, his lips tugging into the widest grin possibly when Altair began to elbow his way over. The Tiefling drug his foot across the ground and planted his feet into the ground as the Acolyte came in for one of their playful headbutts, horns colliding with a dull clink. The Tiefling was fondly accustomed to the greeting at this point, the practice something that practically every member of their family participated in and Jabari was proud of instilling in the younger siblings as well.

Well, except for the one time that Laila, trying to copy her brothers, headbutted Pa right in the bottom lip.. That one Jabari wasn’t proud of. At least, he claimed he wasn’t proud (He totally was).

Jabari snorted a laugh when Altair groaned and wobbled backwards from the headbutt. Despite his laughter, the older Tiefling hovering a hand beside his little brother shoulder - prepared to step up if Altair looked like he was going to topple. Luckily, the Acolyte quickly shook it off. “Hell yeah we saw you, Tai! All ‘o Bandomeer saw yer ass!” He said with a cheesy smile, burgundy eyes widening as he stared at the trophy. Jabari lifted a hand to grasp Altair’s shoulder and give him a shake. “Fuckin’ badass, bro. Proud as hell.”

The tiefling shook his head when Altair asked his question. “You bet. She’ll be through the damn roof after she’s done whoopin’ yer ass into next week. Shit, and ours while she’s at it..” He nudged Khalid. “Don’t forget Imani neither. She ain’t gonna be happy with yer ass after gettin’ a damn concussion.” He chuckled.

Jabari practically beamed when Altair mentioned having money for drinks, and Khalid answered the question of ‘where’ by proclaiming he had everything planned out. Quite frankly, Jabari was just satisfied that he didn’t have to plan for shit, was with his brothers and was about to get hammered by the end of the night. “Ya got it, boss!” Jabari proclaimed as he began to lead them through the crowd, extending a hand out to block any of the crowds that got too close to Altair - making a beeline for a cap at the end of the red carpet. Of course, there was no shortage of absolutely gorgeous women who pushed their way to the front of the crowds, and it took a concerted effort on Jabari’s part to stay entirely focused on his role as bodyguard.

As soon as they reached the cap, Jabari slipped into the backseat and hooked an arm around Altair’s shoulder. At this point, he knew better than trying to argue Khalid for shotgun after a solid childhood of losing that battle. With a grin, Jabari pounded his palm on the roof of the cab. “To ta Five Galaxies!” He practically yelled.
