PRAKITH
0900 Hours

Without her primary support network, the Blood Princess is vulnerable to being dethroned. She wields powerful dark magic and thus, two acolytes will join Darth Victress as the Councilor personally deals with this threat and secures Prakith as an Imperial powerbase.

*The Blood Princess and her sister are Level 2 FS NPCs. Standard PvP Rules apply*

An exiled Dark sided cult lead by the "Blood Princess" has taken refuge on Prakith, occupying a majority of the ancient fortresses. Darth Victress has sounded the call to bring about the death of this heretic. Under the leadership of the blind Sith, Lady Eriana Fox, strike teams will focus on a three mission task force that will bring the so-called princess to her knees.

After the Warlord had been executed by the initial strike team, the Lady Eriana waited outside the city while the rest of the Imperial Forces made their way to the surface to begin to siege. The Confessor would bring out a small communicator hologram and call to her mistress, @Darth Victress . As the hologram extended (for Arianna's benefit), the blind Sith would give a bow and then rise. She spoke toward her hand, not really sure where the person on her side of the hologram was. She always hated making these calls.

"My Lady. The capital is currently under attack by our forces. The lieutenant has fallen and soon so will Prak city. You are clear to go after the princess now. With your permission, I will head to my next location to deal with the coven at Gallia."

As the call ended, Eriana put away the device and signaled for her droid to come and pick her up. The battle might have been won, but the fight was not yet over. Prakith would fall soon enough and Darth Victress would soon have her prize. It seemed cruel to Eriana that they were only here for this so called princess, but in the end it was another system to be controlled by the Empire and that was a win regardless.

It was going to be the day.

A day that Markov would help Darth Victress with the objective she was so determined to be complete to obtain her 'reward'. The reward was killing a cultist leader opposing the Empire: The Blood Princess. It was his job to assist and protect the Sith Lord while she is completing her task as well as another Acolyte he hasn't worked with yet. To him, this was just another mission to have the opportunity to impress his current superiors, and he will make sure of this. The opponents he may face today might as well be the strongest foes he has ever faced, and he will make sure to conquer this trial. If he is successful in assisting @Darth Victress , then glory could be bestowed to him and especially, For The Empire. He could not get this far in his pursuit of his goals and be defeated against a powerful opponent, especially as an assistant to the leader of this battle.

Markov donned his Sith Warrior Armor. It was protective armor that could slow his abilities, but he was sure to make use of it and fight in it as much as he could; he'd need to get completely used to it to sufficiently combat, and this was the time. He also had his specialized curved lightsaber on the left side of the holster on his armor, and another, generic lightsaber on the right side for emergency use. He also had two PL10 Grenades on in case his opponents that the group were facing had any lightsaber resistant armor. He was ready; this being his first major battle he will make sure he will become better in ability and in prestige from it.

In present time, he was approaching the Citadel that he, @Niish Chichel, and Darth Victress were sent to end the Blood Princess. He was anxious for the event, but he was confident that they will be able to pull the objective. His helmet covered his expressions after all. He was about 5 feet behind the Darth as they walked.

It was time to battle with the opposition of the Empire, For The Empire.

The Red Moon Shines indeed...

It was the moment of reckoning, when Prakith would be taken back for the Empire. The blood princess was powerful and sinister, a constellation of abilities that were wicked in their own right but would make any normal Sith wilt away in terror. However, the Dark Councilor was no ordinary Sith. If these cultists wished to rain with their strength, they would find that their powers paled in comparison to the looming presence of the Sorceress as she ascended a flight of stairs.

Nightfall had struck and the void of pitch darkness was all around them. Only a series of lit candlelight helped navigate their path as the ancient fortress and empty Citadel sparkled with the energies of their targets. The Darth was out in front with the two acolytes behind her as the trio approached. Doors slowly swung open on their own, permitting entrance into the empty lobby. Only several tables, chairs, and items of worship were still present, decayed from years of non-use. Her piercing gaze swept across the chamber, accompanied only with her steely confidence and dark chuckle that had become paramount to the Dark Lord's personality. Her armored form was menacing as it was threatening, palpable aura of power and fear resonated that dimmed lights momentarily and the wails of tortured souls resonated through the room.

Green eyes slowly shifted to yellow as she drew upon her force energies, sight finally settling and pinning upon two hooded figures standing approximately 15 meters from the Trio. Crimson lightsaber hissed to life, bathing the hollow grounds with its unholy powers; "We meet at last, Princess.." She said, her voice robotic and seemingly corrupted as it came from behind the duraplast helm.

Niish followed fairly closely behind his adopted master, Darth Victress. The Dark Councilor had taken him under her wing - as massive a wing that wing would have to be. He sniffed the air, and let out a low hiss at the saturated stench of the Dark Side, as it emanated from those around him. The palpable energy could be cut with a knife. With his saberstaff in his left hand, he kept it at the ready, with his primary hand ready to draw his pistol, or utilize the Force. Rather than carrying his usual, unwieldy Javelin Repeater, he opted for a smaller, Vorantikus Blaster Rifle in the event that more cultists attempt to intervene with blasters of their own. With the rifle being the only replacement weapon in his loadout, he traveled fairly light, as he expected less in the way of gunfire, but still prepared for it, regardless. His personal secondary objective was the protection of the Dark Councilor herself.

Niish stopped next to his master, eyes staring holes into the head of the Blood Princess ahead of them, growling as his eyes glowed a golden yellow, from drawing from the Dark Side of the Force. No words would escape his scaled lips. He stood well over a foot taller than his Sith counterparts, at just an inch shy of seven foot tall, clad in Nomadic Warrior-style armor, ready for the so called Blood Princess to make her move.

For a time, for her, it was as if nothing else had existed. There was shadows and the dark, the seething anger, washing over her with all the turmoil and ferocity of a wildfire. It was a consuming thing, ravenous and impossible to quench. It was her wrath, and saturated her like blood rain. And so too was she the Blood Princess. Heretic. Visionary. Pretender. Leader. Titles and curses laid to her feet or spat to her name, and she would deny none of them. She was above them, for whatever else other saw in her, she was and would only ever be what she had deemed herself, then and now.

"Sis aiksosûti...", the Blood Princess began, speaking in Balc, the affluent Sith language, for she would not taint her lips with anything lesser than the purest tongue. "Tuti dias wirmsizi koani dias ri Zina iw ri Wa. Diu tuti j'us an ridzik an ana timias zarsidna?"

The words of the Blood Princess dripped with as much venom as they did spite, like needles to the ears. Until that point, she had been standing with her back to the intruders that she had sensed approaching, even as she ignored the disturbances and noises they made in the process of their arrival. Hooded and standing at the end of the lobby, the Blood Princess slowly turned about, felling her hood to reveal her face, and then her robe altogether. Beneath her adorned attire was the armor of a fighter. Her face war surprisingly fair, with archaic Sith tattoos adorned beneath her lower lip, and at the base of her forehead. The side of her head was shaven, with the other sides well maintained. But the most distinguished of her traits, especially in the dark halls that they stood in, were the brightly smoldering eyes, like the embers of a breathing fire, so filled with a barely-restrained hatred.

jV6oQMP.jpg
Without a moment's pause or hesitation, the Blood Princess drew out her lightsaber and allowed its crimson blade to breathe to life, its scarlet glow magnifying the fiery aspects of her own eyes, before she had allowed the second one to engage; a double-bladed lightsaber.

"Nu qutza nindz dzis di ahs dijomatsa j'us nisosûti, kam choa j'us shiyi wowuti an arurtsi, dzis mis dari nindz tsûnasi ri zûtawiyia j'us shiyi tsiti an ki", she said, sneering at the lessers before her.

Those there would not have missed the detail of her words, supposing they understood the Sith language themselves; 'we do not tolerate'. No sooner had the Blood Princess's words come to their end did another figure emerge. Her hair was fair, in fact, it was nearly pure white, but with eyes as red as the Blood Princess's. Unlike the latter, this woman wore a heavier brand of armor, the kind that was befitting of a warrior.

hLdfWXe.jpg
While the Blood Princess was full of words, this woman was anything but. In fact, without a word, she had emerged, widened her stance for battle, and had assumed a stance for combat, lightsaber in hand and ignited. From her unwavering stance to the strength she had exhumed, all that one would be able to read from her was discipline. Cold, ruthless and precise rage, sharpened and controlled to a be wielded as any weapon of great worth would be.

"Dzi tsiu, j'us waria drarina. Diâ dias tu'iyia kraujas nirshosi an sis wirmsi koani, j'us waria sotizi tu'iyia sami na tu'iyia sawas kraujas, dias waria wisa anas samyi diâ udarja diu ani tuti isatru muryasa ra", the Blood Princess said bitterly, turning her gaze to the woman in the back. "Sissûo, Nu mirji j'us datar sas timias ridis; titsû nindz zo wuni udarja naiti irtsawsi sas ri draki iw Chhaosas."

At long last, the woman, now revealed to be the Blood Princess's own sister, spoke words in Basic, for she was not permitted to speak in Balc. However, betraying her strong and sturdy appearance, the words that came were soft, almost meek, but brimming with devotion and utterly loyalty, all the same.

"As you will it, so shall I obey, my mistress."

Markov continued to walk into the citadel as the trio was lead by Darth Victress still. The air was getting more tense and strained as he and the others delved deeper into the building. His mind wasn’t being too affected by it; it was just the darkness of this building settling in to their minds as well as to create fear perhaps.

Eventually, they came up to what looked like throne room as the Sith Lord began speaking up immediately. The shadows danced around the room as Victress ignited her blade in front of them, speaking directly at the Blood Princess they came here to murder for the good of the empire. The Blood Princess drew her own Lightsaber as the Markov prepared for battle, wondering where that other opponent was supposed to be. He did not understand the Sith pureblood tongue completely, but he knew it meant orders as a younger figure came out of the shadows. She was wearing heavier armor and as she spoke in basic language, Markov drew his Lightsaber and ignited it, now multiple crimson reds were filling the dimly lit room as he concentrated on feeling the force surround and empower him, his eyes becoming more yellow from under his armor as he focused.

Markov stepped out from the trio slightly more to the right as he prepared to battle, hopefully the Acolyte would join him in taking down this opponent. This would be a dual that he wouldn’t forget, given it is his most powerful opponents so far.

This was it, and he wasn’t planning to disappoint.

The dark councilor stared at the two sisters for defining moments, a lengthy pause of silence as the two heretics spoke and it seemed that the Darth seemingly did not interrupt their speech. Victress tilted her head into an angle as she glanced at the Princess herself, studying the tatoos and almost appeared to admire the female's natural beauty. Arianna's affinity for sorcery granted her a leniency, one that she may have extended to the two sisters had they not denounced Imperial reign and branded themselves as heretics. Dark sided aura palpated around the dark lord, its strength and power unmatched even for the duo that stood in the far end of the lobby. Lights momentarily dimmed as the sounds of tortured wails echoed throughout the chamber.

"I pass no judgment but the relentless fury of the Empire. These stone floors shall be stained holy, with whatever aftermath results in the end..." She spoke, and then without warning struck out. The crimson saber maintained its fiery light in her right fist without wilting, bathing those around in a sea of ghastly red while her left hand opened its fingers quickly and snapped back into a fist. This simple gesture instantaneously followed with a corresponding force ability, casting a force pull at the blood princess that yanked her forwards in a quick and singular movement. During this time, the Dark Councilor was already on the move, shifting to the Blood Princess' left in an attempt to flank her while she trusted her acolytes would engage from the other side to pin the sister. Her position also disrupted the sister's line of sight onto her; the dark lord was fast and moved with predatory grace, closing the melee gap between herself and her adversary quickly. Eyes kept on her opponent while the right handed saber came in an aggressive Makashi stance before slashing in an horizontal manner, targeting the Princess' left torso to cut at her from her left to right. The Darth's free hand cackled with vile sorcery, ready to defend or augment the assault if necessary. @Korvo

Niish's blades ignited shortly after Victress'. With the other Acolyte on the opposite side of Victress, he surged forward, at the Blood Princess's sister, holding the blades of his saberstaff across his body. "Markov, with me!" he hissed, telepathically, as he engaged the Sith pretender, jabbing at her chest, holding his saberstaff's hilt at the bottom third of the weapon, giving him about .75 of a meter more reach than the Dark Jedi before him. The movement was not a majorly dedicated strike, but a quick jab to her solar plexus to test her reactions. Following the jab, Niish stepped forward with his rear foot, and brought the second blade of his staff around, for an insward, horizontal strike, from his left to his right, across her midsection.

A night of black and scarlet had begun. The Blood Princess and her sister were formidable warriors on their own; one the sorcerer, the other a warrior. But even they both could sense the superior strength of the Sith that walked between the lesser ones. A Lady of the Sith, no doubt, perhaps even a Darth. She would do. The Blood Princess grinned mutedly in anticipation; a worthy foe made for a worthy ascension.

Although Darth Victress made the first move, the Blood Princess was not caught unaware; after all she was already prepared for battle. However, it didn't change the fact that Victress' attack was sudden and powerful. The Blood Princess' body was pulled forth, but she had focused on keeping her stance static and largely steadfast. Her feet skidded across the floor, but as Darth Victress moved toward her left flank, the Blood Princess pressed forward with the balls of her feet, skewering her position so that she'd be turned leftward as her momentum stopped.

As Victress' right-to-leftward sai tok-attack commenced, the Blood Princess pivoted the bottom-end of her double-bladed lightsaber to her left side, blocking the lightsaber attack from severing her in half. Simultaneous to when the blades would collide, the Blood Princess would immediately counter-attack, pivoting the upper-end of her saberstaff downward. The Blood Princess would set herself up to either slash into Darth Victress (@Faded Truth) from her right shoulder downward into her torso, or would set herself up to protect herself from an offensive Force attack. Now, the Blood Princess would leave nothing to chance.

With the sister, an immediate advantage had emerged. The bane of all warriors in matters of life and death was always hesistation, regardless of the reason; reasons would always amount to nothing with the dead. One opponent charged forth, the other delayed, perhaps seeking to see who was fighting who first. Without hesitating herself, the sister charged toward the reptilian enemy of hers, holding her saber in the same form as earlier. With a larger build and reach, it was obvious that Niish would attack first, and did so as he attempted to stab at her body's center. Thrusting forward herself, the sister slashed ahead of her body as she caught Niish's blade, putting pressure into it so as to slash it away to her left.

As she did so, however, the sister would not slow her momentum, but would instead allow her feet to skid across the ground, past Niish's right side as she made another quick strike at his lightsaber hilt. Ideally, her strike would destroy his weapon and continue on, cleaving into his torso, but if nothing else, would at least force her opponent onto the defensive. (@Gian Greydragon) All the while, however, the sister would not neglect the inevitable approach of the second Acolyte, and began gathering the Force to her, so at to counter whatever potential machinations the next opponent, or even the one before her, would scheme. Markov had waited to analyze the situation before charging head on to tap into the force and gain more focus. The telepathy of Niish rang through his mind as he knew it was time to make an attack. He immediately went for a offensive maneuver towards the sister. He grasped the curved hilt of his blade im his left hand as he attacked from the back side of the sister. Markov swung his saber in a 45 degree angle, aiming for a left shoulder to test her ability to react to a multi-sided attack and to hopefully throw her off while she was parrying his comrade. He was focused within the force and had faith in it protecting him as he tapped in while he made the attack.

As soon he made the attack he’d pace back 4 meters to avoid any incoming attack, moving his blade in a defensive position to be ready to defend against any movements using the one hand needed for his Lightsaber.

The jab would be parried, with ease, but the nature of the strike, being a quick thrust forward, with little weight put behind it would prove difficult for the blade to be manipulated further, thus holding the blade in place was not viable. As the Sith pretender tried to pass him by, his second strike would go unperturbed through her midsection, stopping her counter attack, in it's tracks, before any damage was done.

After splitting her across the waist, Niish would turn toward the blood princess, eyes glowing yellow, feeding off of the fresh kill.

"Your beloved sssister will be the appetizer. You... I'll make a meal out of you..," he growled.

(Autohit, on the grounds of lack of mentioning the attack in any capacity. The first strike was parried, but no attempt at defense toward the second was made before @Korvo's counterattack.)

Darth Victress saturated the air around her with a palpable fury, reflecting the strength and vile corruption of the dark councilor as the combat pace quickly picked up. Her yellow eyes kept their gaze fixated on her adversary, the princess bringing her staff's bottom blade to block against the horizontal slash. However, the dueling methods with the long staff were predictable and as the blood princess began her counter, so did the Darth begin her defense. Simultaneously dis-engaging the strike, Victress pulled her saber back to guard her right flank while pivoting clockwise on her right leg. This allowed the Makashi duelist to evade the incoming blow as she quickly shifted to her adversary's right side and watched as the top end of the saberstaff slashed into air before them.

As quickly as her defense was carried through, Victress immediately sprang onto the offensive by bringing her blade upwards in a fast motion to slash at the princess' extended right arm and vulnerable right torso. Her free hand continued to cackle with dark sided energies, preparation of defensive contingencies in case the dark jedi managed to fend off her attack. @Korvo

In battles to the death, it was often not the stronger warrior, nor the most cunning, that walked away. Not the warrior with the greater ferocity, nor even the one with the greatest wrath, for there was scarcely a greater advantage than the keenest eye. In spite of whatever powers and experience had led the sister to have what she could call her own that day, it was a single detail that had condemned her.

As the stroke from Niish's weapon carved her in half, the heretical follower and sister of the Blood Princess happened a glance before her doom, but it was no face of cowardice. Not of surprise, not of worry or frustration. Only acceptance, a flash of red, until the darkness followed in her damnation to the void. (@Gian Greydragon / @ByakuyaXVTogami: Opponent Defeated!)

The Blood Princess had felt the whisper through the Force that called away the life of her sister. A flickering resentment had cultivated in her heart, but it had become little more than that. Once, long ago, the two had been closer to enemies than allies, with one eventually dominating the other. Blood may have bonded them together, but there was no question; their relationship now had been tantamount to one of a master and her slave. This blow was not an emotional one to the Blood Princess; it was a tactical one.

The duel between the Blood Princess and the Darth intensified. The Blood Princess's first counter was deflected, with the Darth returning with a riposte of her own. The movements of the double-bladed saberstaff had an element of predicability, that much was true, but the movements to attack and defend were likewise often simpler, and took greater ease to perform. By pivoting the upper-blade of her saberstaff upwards at its current angle, the Blood Princess had brought up an almost instance defense from the lower-end's blade, blocking against the Darth's uppercutting slash against her right side, arm and torso alike, twisting her body just enough to allow her defensive maneuver to keep herself out of the danger.

As their blades would hit again, the Blood Princess then forcefully jerked the previously lower-ended portion of her saberstaff upwards, intending to force the Darth's blade upwards as well. Immediately after, she would perform a half-spin with her weapon, rapidly twisting what was the bottom-end of her weapon (now upwards) to be parallel to her shoulder, while directing the opposite end at the Darth's left arm, performing an uppercutting slash of her own in an attempt to slash off the Darth's left arm entirely.

All the while, the Blood Princess had slightly bent her body and spaced her legs, gathering the Force into her and prepared to make a defense, either through the blade or her own powers, should such an intervention occur.

Dark powers saturated the chambers, swirling to climax around the two women clashed in battle as their duel intensified. Victress' abilities reflected the stench of vile corruption, surpassing even that of the heretic as her strength was palpable and bent by her will. Her gaze was carefully placed on her adversary, attempting to predict movements before they occurred and respond accordingly as an expert duelist would. Saying that the Makashi specialist was formidable was an understatement, one of the most powerful Sith of their Order, the Dark Lord was well aware of the simple movements both of defense and offense utilized by those that preferred fighting with a saberstaff.

As such, when her slash was blocked by the shifting of the staff's lower-blade, Victress quickly took a step backwards with her non-dominant leg thus pivoting her left flank and arm out of harm's way as the opposite end of the saber staff uppercut in front of her. Simultaneously, as a secondary measure of defense, as the saberstaff slashed upwards, the Darth utilized a simple gesture with her right hand's index finger, applying a temporary grip on the hilt of her opponent's weapon. This would serve two purposes: one to slow the movement and thus facilitate her evasion to avoid the slash against her left arm as well as make it that much difficult for the princess to defend or maneuver her blade in a defensive measure against whatever the Darth would follow up in her counter-attack. It was so, that Victress' free hand had been gathering energy for some time in preparation and almost immediately cackled outwards in a cone of fierce, green lightning that seared towards her opponent's torso. @Korvo

As the lightning stormed forwards, Victress brought her own lightsaber towards her right flank and guarded into a defensive position.

Markov felt satisfied as the sister he was about to decapitate has fallen at him, and now was the time for his other opponent. He caught sight of the Blood Princess's and Victress' intense combat, and soon enough force lightning began to get spewed into the Dark Jedi. He positioned himself closer to the fight, about 25 meters away as he began to curl his right hand into a choking motion and trying to halt her movements if possible, aiming it for the Princess. His goal was to grip and choke her into a incapacitated state. His concentration and tap into the force intensified more and more.

His lightsaber remained at a defensive position as he did this action, in case of a sudden attack, as concentrating on choking the life force out of the Blood Princess (@Korvo) as much as he could, despite his not as strong force abilities as anyone else in the room. He was focused, and fury bleed through him as he gripped his fingers more tight as the airway would hopefully get tighter and tighter as oxygen would be completely fruitless. He was getting closer to being one with the force, and hopefully ending this battle now with a shocking fury of lightning.

Niish immediately went to work, after his taunt, casting out his off hand from his body, and throwing a telekinetic lasso around the legs, behind the knees and yanking them forward, just before the lightning was cast be the saurian alien's master. He hissed with glee, as they were on the up and up in terms of numbers, and superior strength.

First, it was her throat. Even as the others circled about her like Firaxian sharks, the Blood Princess could see it all happening around her, and yet do nothing to stop it. It was a weaker force than hers, but it was still there, constricting the airways within her neck. Another force still weaker than her own will struck at her legs. Enveloping them like a nebulous grip that was attempting to sweep against her, break her stance.

On her own, the Blood Princess would have been powerful to resist both of these attempts at the same time. But they weren't alone. In fact, they weren't even the greater threat. The greatest-threat. It was the Darth, who at nearly the same time, deflected the Blood Princess's attack and responded with a hand that cackled with lethal electrical energies. The Darth might have been more powerful in the Force than she was, but she could have relied on her lightsaber to deflect it, rather than make it a strict contest of power against power... could have. Might have. If only. All terms for what should have been, and yet wasn't.

Her stance broke, her lungs seized, and the final thing to grace the Blood Princess' sight was the fierce embrace of an emerald light and its jagged fangs. A bloodcurdling scream erupted from her lungs, made even more vile and vehement by the constriction of her airways. Even without the darkness that rapidly stole her sight and consciousness, the Blood Princess could feel the grasp of the Void dragging her soul, condemning her to Chaos. Death was not simply inevitable, it was here, and it had seized her. And it was in her final moments, at the end as the darkness took her, that her final thoughts whispered out.

Dujikri ri w'ana... Nu... katisi...... wir...

But none would hear it. None would hear anything from the self-proclaimed Princess of Blood ever again. For she was already dead, and soon, forgotten.
