The Black Hand

[Kade]

It was nearing nine o'clock, and It was rather dark for Coruscant. Kade Yi had volunteered, and been assigned on a mission. A Female Falleen, responsible for numerous assassinations, had been last seen on Coruscant. There was a light rain, nothing new to Kade, and he was alone - nothing new either. He was leaning against the door, dressed nothing like a Jedi. He wore a white shirt, the sleeve length just past his elbows, with black pants on, and dark brown boots. He looked more as a bounty hunter or a smuggler, then a Jedi. His lightsaber was tucked away in his boots, and his only other weapon was a small blaster pistol, so small it held a much smaller clip then other blasters, only around twenty-five, thirty if he had an extended clip, which he didn't.

His blaster was tucked away under his shoulder, covered by a heavy coat that went down to his ankles, and a dark hat covered his face from everyone - yet somehow - his blue eyes almost illuminated from under the hat. He awaited one thing, his Padawan, and another knight who were to aid him in his mission. Find the assassin, and bring her to justice.

*Carith a vonlunteered support for the mission appeared from no where from out of a dark alley nearing Kade Yi, he had yet to meet this fellow knight of his but was looking forward to it. Carith still dressed in his full Jedi attire knowing people do not study eachother by there clothes. Though knowingly a lightsaber would give it away he concealed it beneath his cloak best he could.The rain trickled against the hood of his robe slightly dampening it. He raised his hood as he came closer to Kade. His cloak hood fell from the edge of his head dropping from his head danlging from his shoulders. He leaned up against the wall next to Kade and took a breath*

"Evening.." He mummbled to him without even looking at him. "I don't beleive we have met, I am Carith Korso, You must be Kade yes?"

*Carith stood patiently awaiting a reply, he was anxious to get things started, it has been a while since his last jedi mission.*

 

[Kade]

Kade continued to lean against the wall, looking at the man as he introduced himself through the pouring rain. "Yes, Kade Yi." He said, looking over to the right, and then to the left, but making it look unsuspicious. "You look like you were born a Jedi." He said, laughing quietly as he pushed off the wall with his elbows. "Let's hope this is easy, I'm hoping for an easy mission." He said, laughing quietly as he motioned with his right hand to follow him. Behind him was a small motel, where Kade had rented a small room for the night.

As they walked into the room, Kade locked the door, and walked over to a table, where he had laid down a plan, as he flicked a switch on the side, and a projection came up. "So, we're here." He said, pointing to a spot, and then pressing a button. "We have reports of an Assassin who is in this general area." He said, pressing another button that made the portion where she would be red. "She's dangerous, and she's a Falleen, and I have a Plan." He said, clicking the button again. "I'm going to cloak my force presence, and enter the Club, where I hope she is, and try and draw her attention towards me, I'll try and get her back to here to talk business, and that's when we draw sabers and arrest her, sounds good?" He said, laughing quietly, as he flipped off the switch.

*Carith grinned as he listened to the vaguely wise words of this young knight,He looked at him with a slight glare in his eye*

"An easy mission? Not up for a challenge Kade? In my experiance no mission is an easy one, some have there ups and downs yet some have there flaws and points that make no sense. Though i feel this will be a little harder than we'd expect"

*He followed him up to the room to discuss the plan, Cairth watched over Kade as he explained it. He fiddled with his lightsaber and ran his fingers up and down the seem of his cloak as he listened.*

"Sounds like a solid plan...Though let me clear one thing..Your going to bring her here letting her think it is for somthing else then we arrest her, Shall i wait here for you to bring her then?"

 

[Kade]

Kade laughed silently as he looked up at Carith "I'm going to bring her here, pretending to be a man who needs a bounty settled, she wont refuse, I hope." He said, trailing off once again when it started to sound negative. "I was thinking, if you wish we could both go to the club, it doesnt matter." Kade said, looking back over at the Jedi Knight, and then over at one of the chairs. "This is going to be rather easy, if all goes well." He said, sitting down slowly in the small chair.

Of course, nothing every goes all well. He said, laughing quietly as he looked up at Carith. "I thought my Padawan was going to be here, I'm going to assume he's not." He said, looking around the room. "We don't need him, I just thought this would be a good opening exercise." Kade said, looking over to the door. "We better get moving, it's almost time."

 

[Lavi]

The very door that Kade looks toward opens. A rain-drenched human dressed in brown robes is squeezing the water out of the corner of his robes as it opens.

"Sorry I'm late, Master," he said. "It seems that traffic is more hectic than usual."

The padawan steps inside, and discards the robes in an empty, metal laundry bin. Hopefully it has just been emptied, or the assassin might get the hint that Jedi are after her. If the assassin just so happens to stroll around the very hotel that the three Jedi are at.

OOC: Sorry. It's a little lousy. I gotta go!

*Carith teethed showed as he let out a slight grin, He tried to hold the grin but he had an idea and figured it should have been brought to his attention.*

"I Have an idea." *Carith said intently hopeing that Kade would go for it.*

*Before letting out the idea he turned to acknowladge the rain drenched padawan entering the room, He bowed his head slightly showing a small sign of respect, He then turned back to Kade to inform him of his idea.*

"My idea is that since i actually wore my robes, Considering the high price on Jedi heads I could go and draw her out. Considering the great risk though of many other bounty hunters i suggest you keep watch from a short distance and be ready to apprehend the suspect.Keep it subtle try not to disturb the peace"

*Considering the risks he was willing to take them, he was willing to throw his life in line to obtain this suspect,he knew pre-cautions must be taken considering the tons of civilian life forms roaming about.*

"I also suggest we keep it in a small radius, If she begins to run don't let the chase go noticed and don't let it go far we need to get her quick and draw as least attention to ourselves as possible."

*With these words said Carith was ready,he was ready for this long night to be over.*

 

[Kade]

Kade stood slowly, looking over at Carith. "We don't need to risk a life just to capture a bounty hunter. What we need is to lure her into a sense of safety. If she sees you, she may not go after you, but just run, knowing we want her." He stepped out of his chair, and slid it in, and then placed his hands on the back, and leaned forward. "If she runs, it's going to get bad... real bad." He said quietly, looking over to his padawan.

"Perhaps this could be a lesson for my Padawan, he could stay back and watch, unless of course, he wishes to show us his training." He said rather loudly, letting the padawan hear. "I remember those days." He said quietly, thinking back to when he was almost nurtured by the grandmaster. "Let us pray the force is with us, and that we finish this safely and quickly."

 

[Lavi]

Heron listens carefully to the two, to the best he can hear from across the room. When Carith bows to him, he bows back. Respect to the elders is highly emphasized in the Order.

"Perhaps this could be a lesson for my Padawan, he could stay back and watch, unless of course, he wishes to show us his training."[/b]

Heron gave a questionable look towards his Master. Playing around with him... Again. The knight is fully aware of Heron's eagerness to try out new skills that he learn in training. He gives a sigh. Hopefully he will learn enough to be able to handle a mission on his own. Not will - sometime.

*Carith smiles and nods in agreement with the addition to the plan.*

"If she doesn't know we are after her though she may, Then she may just be seeking a Jedi bounty. Though if she runs we need to end the chase quickly and silently..."

*Carith pauses and looks to the side thinking for a moment running the plan through his head to see any flaws that we can fix before the show begins.He adjusts his robe and looks back torward Kade and then at the padawan.*

"I think we have a plan gentlmen,Lets get this done. Be patient though do not rush things."

*He smiled and turned away from the table torward the door readying to go awaiting the words from the mission leader*

 

[Lavi]

Heron gives a nod. "What sort of bait are you giving the assassin?"

*Carith turned and grinned at the padawans remark.*

"Why, that bait would be me." *Carith said letting out a slight chuckle*

*He turned away adjusting his lightsaber to where it could be seen by the insignificant person that was about to be subdued and obtained by the Jedi order.*

 

[Kade]

Kade looked over at his Padawan again, then back to the other Knight. "Then let us go. Let's not keep her waiting." He said quietly, grinning as he turned to the door, stepping out of it, leaving the two to their discussions, he had his own speeder, and they obviously had theirs, the suspicion of three men entering a catina together would ward off the bounty hunter, Kade would be the first to enter.


He zoomed off, about a mile to the cantina, where he parked, and slowly entered. As he opened the door, the room seemed to stand still, it seemed as if everyone had turned to see Jason. His hair was longer then usual, and he hadn't shaved in about a week, giving him a hunters look, nothing like a jedi would be, well cut and precise. He sat down in the back, pulling his hood down, and ordering a simple Corellian Ale, but he was truly searching for the bounty hunter.
