His opponents quick counter was impressive but not something the mandalorian was unprepared for as the years of sparring and combat had trained him for these encounters. While Essien grabbed onto Juulius’s right wrist and began to force it downward and towards his blade Juulius would force his own beskad against the saber as he felt him attempt to raise it and strike him; pushing the saber down and out to the left as he rotated around.

Pulling in with his right arm to bring Essien from the handful of inches he was from Juulius to right in his face and would attempt to deliver a hard hitting helmet headbutt to break the melee as his flying partners bolts landed without purchase. The defense was aimed to stop Essiens momentum of actions and if he was lucky even knock the unprepared and moving Sith to the ground. If successful Juulius would ready into a defensive stance with beskad in his left hand and angled at fourtyfive degrees across his body covering his left and the bayonet in his right hand readied to strike at the Sith once more.

Dax would still be in flight as the bolts missed. With a burst from the jets, the commando closed with the distance. As the Sith and his mando partner clashed. @Essien Inemesit would be at the very least halted from putting @Juulius Kryze between himself and Dax by the Mandalorian's defensive counter. Allowing Dax to now be at the Sith's back and withing 5 meters

As Juulius attempted to slam his helmet into the face of the Sith, Dax would use his Quickdraw pistol. Pulling the trigger twice, to put two bolts in the lower spine of the Sith and two bolts between the shoulder blades of Essien's back. At pointblank range and locked into hand to hand with the other Manalorian it would likely be a fatal blow to the Sith.

However Dax was not a fool, his left hand weapons were still at the ready for a counter and the repulsors of boots were still active should the Sith still manage to have some fight left in him, however unlikely.

When Essien's lightsaber was moved to the side, he was at the mercy of Juulius' more grounded stance. Essien was pulled in by Juulius, but Essien's head was already tilting to his left, their helmets clanging cheek to cheek with lessened force. Essien struggled to find his bearings to throw Juulius over his right shoulder in an attempt to keep their bodies in a tangle, preventing Dax from having a clear shot. But it was already too late. In the scuffle, Essien had been unable to keep track of Dax and thus was unprepared for the quickness of the mandalorian's maneuverability, suddenly taking fire to the back.

Essien spasmed with an arch and a short sputter of shock inside his mask, then wheezed his last breath with a long exhale as he fell lifelessly forward onto Juulius with finality. He thought he saw a blur of his mentor standing over him, as he always had, with that disappointed stare; his master never uttered a word, just standing there before turning his back on him and walking away. He never looked back, just walked away into the darkness.

With helmets clanging together and the rapid succession of attacks from on high, Juulius had to take a moment to register what had happened and as he did he felt the weight of the man in his arms. The strange and painful feeling of which he could not explain, the essence of the man leaving only to be described as darkness meeting light as he passed wordlessly in his arms.

Taking a moment to lay the man on the ground Juulius would lean over and remove his helmet, knowing the man inside was gone, and his essence fleeting. The force felt odd and with a furrowed brow Juulius places a gloved hand over the mans eyes shutting them, he didn’t need to know the mans name to give him respect in death.

“Go in peace, may whatever awaits us on the other side greet you like the warrior you were.” Juulius spoke quietly and short of breath, reaching over to deactivate his still glowing crimson saber. Picking it up and stashing it on his belt for the time being, standing to look for his partner who had delivered the killing blow Juulius would call out. Where did the other one go, did you finish him in the building?” The question came as he sheathed his blade and bayonet.

Dax could not help but smile as the life left yet another Sith. He swiftly put his weapons away in their holsters. He watched as the life slipped from him and he folded into @Juulius Kryze arms, and then cocked his head as his partner showed him some strange manner of respect.

"Yesss. Please, go in peace. But don't worry, I'll find your friends and send them along soon." Dax said un-poetically. Dax turned to see the rest of their men had managed to push back and even stop the assault on the captal however far the Sith had gotten in their other tasks on Kessel, they failed here. Dax was proud of that. Then Juulius asked about the other sith

"Yeah, about that..."
