Sitting sternly, silently Korwins mind lay at ease on the plains of Alderaan. Here the stresses of Coruscant were no more, while the physical training was gaining tempo the underlining atmosphere and climate was one of peace and serenity, which was a wonderful comparison.

On Coruscant he could smell the fear, hear the screams and see the desperation in the peoples eyes. But as he dwelled upon himself, his future and destiny the reality's of the Galaxy seemed like a terrible dream, long gone and forgotten.

He knew that today was a new day for him. He had been told that here a Master would be waiting for him, someone who could 'handle him', he didn't like the sound of that. He had the vision of a seven foot tall man with no hair and a short temper. But he ignored this anxiety by manipulating the grass around him.

As the breeze blew through the grass it found itself being fought against as the grass changed direction, being molded into a new form. That of the Jedi symbol. Korwin smiled and relaxed.

The sun was shining down and all was well, until he sensed the presence of another, in the distance... He started to become anxious, perhaps even alittle frightened for he knew who it was, not who they were, but this was perhaps his last chance to make it as a Jedi.

Without this person he doesn't know what he would do..

"Ugh, I'm getting too old for this."

Val hadn't trained a padawan in years, and she would never admit that she secretly missed it. Her unorthodox training styles were forgotten during her absence and replaced with the banality of lifting object a to point b. Val shuddered at the thought, though she knew such methods were necessary...to a degree. Having been one of the few Jedi to actually get out and live in the 'real world', her views on things were vastly different than other, traditional Jedi. Her two children and her secret marriage was a testament to that. However, her padawan didn't need to know that. However, he did need to know that he was a..

"...Pain in the ass..picking a place so far away from the temple."

Her complaining to herself finally brought her to her student. Val was about to blurt out a usual sarcastic greeting, but was thrown off by the fear that abruptly gripped him. What was his deal?! She shrugged and walked over and casually plopped down next to him. She was clad in Jedi robes, two sabers at her hips. Val glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow.

"You seem like you're about to piss yourself. What gives?"

Val grinned at him.

"Valena. I'm supposed to be your trainer. Call me Val. Master makes me feel ancient.."

He could sense this person arrive, he decided not to look, but something was amiss, definitely different. Usually he could read the surface thoughts, but his mild attempt to read them failed terribly, but he almost jumped when he heard "Pain in the ass.." coming from the distance. He sniggered.

How odd, without a doubt there were a few men who swore sparsely, but not women... He started to relax, his fears slowly ebbing away, he only wanted to say one thing..

Sitting silently for a moment he turns around and looks at Val as she introduced herself, tilting his head he smiles widely, nervously... He notices how she is smiling warmly and seems genuine, heh maybe a girl needs a wide vocabulary to defend herself, maybe ? He didn't know, but this is what he initially thought.

"Yes, well hello Master, Master Valena, I hope you are doing well... You didn't have to sit down, I have been informed of your bad hips.." He laughs gently and thinks for a second, ignoring whatever she might be saying, he was once again lost in thought, but then...

"Oh, well.. I am joking, it's just abit odd..." He stops and thinks of how to articulate what he is thinking. "I mean, you are, thinner then i'd thought you'd be, remarkably attractive too and not a man..." He sniggers again before realizing how this sounded before stutering some more and trying to correct himself.

"No, its just ! Er, wait.. No they said, that I would have someone to, help, discipline, put me in my place.. So I sort of imagined I would see a 7ft fat man, who wanted to kick my head in every ten minutes ! But you, you're.. Not ?" He stopped talking after going red, he listens to what is said to him closely and smiles, stating simply.

"Alright, alright then Val, where do we begin ? Oh, the name.. Its Korwin, just so you know.."

Val simply gawked at him as he blabbered on on and on. The expression on her face was priceless, especially as he made a snide remark about her 'bad hips'. She promptly rose to her feet. She was only 27! Who did this kid think he was? Val rolled her eyes as he sputtered on, waving her hand impatiently.

"Yeah yeah, I know who you are. I got a datapad with all the basics."

She grinned at him.

"And don't get your hopes up, I still might end up kicking your head in every ten minutes."

Val had to bite back at laughing at the blush on his face. It happened almost every time she had young male padawans. They always expected some mean old fart and got her instead. She thought for a moment, recalling how this whole training thing worked.

"Oh yeah, tell me about yourself and stuff. Get to the gory details and fun stuff and then it'll be tolerable for both of us. I hear you're a bit of a trouble maker..oh and of course, tell me what you know about the Force and Jedi and shit.."

'If I can handle my two kids, I can handle anything by now,' Val thought to herself with a snicker.

His mind wandered as she asked him this simple question. Now where to start, where to begin ? How could he introduce her to his life of adventure and his rule breaking ? But as he pondered this question he realized that he had spent half a minute thinking to himself, embarrassed he started suddenly, breaking from his state.

"The name is Kerwin Foreman, I have my own range of grills... I am 18 years old, quite attractive, very intelligent and a lean mean Borgan grilling machine. If you hadn't notice... I, I like to cook aswell.. Heh" He blushes but then continues "Yes, yes but.. I come from Onderon, I was born into a family of merchants... For some reason they thought it would be great to give their little child over to strange men from another planet, heh... Maybe its best I am a Jedi then.." He laughs, trying to remember his parents... He can remember tonnes of information, but not even the face of his mother.

"But yes, yes.. The Nationalists tried to abduct me and raise me as a child of the state or some.. thing ? Yeah, but no the Jedi sort of just left at that point.. I then came to Coruscant.. Lived in the temple for a few years, but then realized something important.." He pauses and goes into another trance, recollecting an important moment of his life, a revelation which gave him the bad reputation...

"I realized, I realized that life is..." He looks around to make sure only Val is there before saying the unthinkable... "Shit." He smiles and bites his lip "There was only so much I was being shown, being taught but I could sense from an early age the suffering and the pain of the planet, so I broke out the temple from about.. The age of eight onwards ? I can't remember exactly, but I just went to see what real life was like, I didn't like it but it made me think more.

I met some amazing people there, including a particularly strange Jawa called Sankskrit. It was his idea to make a device which could strip all the bad fats off of meat, while leaving the delicious taste. But he is the one who made all the money, but it does bare my last name. Heh.

But of the Jedi teachings ? I know.. I know enough, perhaps too much for my level, I continuously persued knowledge until I realised I better get a master, or I am not ever going to become a knight, then you came along... I think I know alot of the theory but without help, I don't think I will be able to reach my potential, not yet anyway.. Because, because I have the power, but don't know how to use it.. But hopefully with your help, we can mold a good 'Jedi' out of me." He considerd his words, especially the Good Jedi part, looking at Val he laughed alittle and waited for her input, looking at her facial expression..

"A cook, eh? Excellent. You can cook for us after difficult missions, then."

Val had done background research on the boy, though her attitude towards him suggested otherwise. She knew he was ready to start off on the route that required more hands on involvement. On top of that, she wasn't entirely in the mood to hang around the temple. Val yawned and stretched.

"Okay well we're not gonna train here."

She pulled up a datapad and went over it.

"Coruscant is where we're headed. Some shady people hanging out there and I was called to tend to it. But lucky for you, your ass gets to accompany me. Remember, you don't have a lightsaber, so stick with the Force techniques you know. You can take a training saber and a blaster probably."

Val tossed him a small, standard blaster. From her research, it was evident he knew how to handle himself.

"Excellent. Now follow."

She turned on her feet and began the trek towards the hangar. From there, she would borrow a ship and take them over to Coruscant. Of course, Korwin would be flying it.

Flying to Coruscant, heh, easy. He liked the journeys, but he didn't really enjoy piloting... So to cheer himself up he sang for aslong as he could, from songs which varied in tempo, beat and... Even voice, some songs were like that of an opera and others.. Well, were screaming... But with time he saw the look on his Masters face and he stopped and asked her about her life, which she was very keen to do for she could no longer bare his terrible singing. So they talked and she had to no longer worry about his terrible singing.

But as they docked on the platform, feeling the gentle bump as the shuttle landed they both felt relief. From the platform the beauty of Coruscant was evident. The metropolis showed the might and wealth of the Republic. As his eyes looked to the depths of the planet, he felt once more perhaps the very top layer of Val's surface thoughts.. And of what was to come, he did not hear her voice, but felt a strange mix of anticipation and perhaps curiousness, but Korwin was not sure if these specific emotions were just his imagination at work but none the less, he had a feeling they were going to a not so nice place...

"I think we are going down there... Arn't we Val?" He said simply pointing to the bottom of Coruscant.

Val looked down towards what was clearly the wretched bowels of the planet, dotted with the sketchiest districts around. She could smell it from here. As Korwin commented on it, Val shrugged.

"Yeah pretty much. Let's roll, kiddo."

With that, she began to walk towards their destination. She skidded to a halt almost immediately, glancing over at her padawan, an eyebrow raised. Wait, yeah he was old enough to enter clubs. With a nod, Val continued walking.

"If you try to sneak some drinks, so help me gods.."

She quickly made her way to the front of the line, urgently waving her hand in front of the bouncer's face. In a daze, he put wristbands on both her and her padawan. Val shook her head. You'd think they'd learn by now. Ignoring the glares from the patrons still in line, she bade for Korwin to follow her into the crowded bar. The music thumped all around them and the smell of sweat and spices was thick in the air. Val grimaced.

"It's been a while since I've come to a place like this."

She knew there was a back room where the smugglers operated. However, it would be difficult to discern without further information. Val cast a sideways glance at her student, her face suddenly serious. Her voice would echo within his mind, though her lips did not move.

"Do you sense anything...odd? Perhaps a clue as to where our targets may be?"

"Do you sense anything...odd? Perhaps a clue as to where our targets may be?"

Wait.. What.. He was confused,re he didn't know what was going on, he thought the would be some sort of direction, or some sort of aim... But there was? He just wasn't sure, but maybe this was a test it had to be, he had to take the lead to make sure he didn't look incompetent

“Well, yeah.. Sure, they are in the back..” The loud music, the atmosphere and the people bumping into him made him uneasy, he spoke quietly too, but he had a feeling she understood, he felt out with the force, he could feel the strange, dark emotions and whims of the patrons and it seemed impossible to stop them all, but he could hear, see in his mind the spices in the back, the manager with his suitcase of money, there he was.

“Come with me, I think..” He sounds uncertain as he leads him and his master through the crowds which are partying madly and arrive at the toilets, there are three doors, one with a bouncer on and two toilets, he nods towards his master as if to signify what he knows.

He would of tried to talk to the bouncer, but he would of known that with his inability of mind trick that he would of just got into a fight, not that it would of mattered since the music and the flashing lights blinded peoples senses anyway, but still...

The bouncer looked at him, he became worried, not scared, but worried about what he might attempt.. He thought quickly, looking the bouncer in the eyes he tries to push him gently into the door with the force.

But the anarchy and adrenaline pumping through his veins clouded his presumption, resulting in a much overcharged move, making the huge bouncer fly through the door and into the wall behind it. Korwins eyes opened wide as he saw the bouncer lieing unconscious in the corridor, walking through the door he blocks the view, waiting for his master.. Not sure what to do now.

Val whipped around, feeling the accumulation of Force energy building up within Korwin. She was about to tell him to hold it back, predicting the powerful surge of energy, but it was too late. Val watched as the bouncer flew clear through the door and down the corridor. Unfortunately, this immediately attracted the attention of nearby patrons. Val scowled at Korwin.

"Idiot! Come! We gotta blend!"

She grasped his wrist and yanked him back in the opposite direction, right into the massive mob of bodies dancing and swaying to the music. Val fit right in, moving to the beat and glancing over at the corridor where some more guards were gathered there. No one could explain what had happened, as Val and Korwin had fled the scene almost immediately. Val kept within the mob, shoving back the occasional man reeking of alcohol that saw fit to dance right against her. With short nudges with the Force, she directed a group of drunken patrons over to the doorway. Some of them even fell onto the men guarding the doors, laughing hysterically and dancing. Val spotted Korwin through the crowd, giving him a nod that it was time to slip into the corridor.

She slunk past the mob, now fighting one another as the guards dealt with drunken patrons. Val slipped into the corridor, silent like a cat. On the way, she used the Force to guide the key card on a bouncer's hip to her hand. Once in the corridor, she used the key to allow both her and her padawan to sneak into the room. The strong smell of spice almost made her cough, but she held it back. Val motioned for Korwin to be quiet. The air was smoky and the room was almost too dark to see in, but she could sense a group of men. They were all under heavy influence of drugs, their speech slurred. However, she could tell they were all armed. Val looked over to Korwin, crouching low. Once again she spoke with her mind.

"Subtlety is your best friend. Before you do anything, run the scenario inside your head a million times. Control your Force aura and channel it to very specific points on your body. If you use Push, let the focal point be your palm so you have more control of your power. The same applies for any tricks of the mind. You have to serenely weave into the minds instead of rushing in. If done correctly, they won't know you're inside their head."

Val looked around them, attempting to find objects within the area to use against the smugglers. In the meantime, Korwin was free to formulate his own plan.

Feeling like an idiot Korwin had furthered this new found reputation by dancing like one too. Yet at the same time this seemed to attract women, some strange and some odd people approached him and started to dance around him. He took this chance to lean back and stretch his arms out till his body was in a star formation before pumping his forearms up and down and starting to headbang.

As he also slipped into the corridor he listened to his masters words closely, thinking on them and realizing his faults, he wanted to speak, but he wasn't going to. She knew how he felt, but she had no idea what he was going to do.

He knew these streets, the people on them and as he walked slowly into the square, box room, his vision was blurred by smoke, but he knew what was to be done. He saw a long, striped pimp stick by one unconscious dealers body, picking it up he stands in the middle of the room.

"Attention, attention." He says calmly, brandishing his stick, "Jay C the magnificent is here, to show you a new age of Magic tricks, your most humble establishment has requested my presence and I have humbly accepted this most prestigious role. Now tell me, Are you ready, for some..." As he is speaking he tilts his head and bends over, looking one man in the eyes before whispering loudly. "Magic ?"

The atmosphere became, stranger... There were about eight men in the room, four of which he had not seen, two on the floor, passed out. They approached slowly, a stark look of confusion, their eyes widening so much many of their eyes seemed to turn black to the young Jedi, who knew exactly what was to be done.

"Now, now who wants to get... Hiiiigh? Higher then they have ever been before in their lives ? I know the way, the path, the one way in which you seek !" He says this panting with the constant exclamations, his wide grin stretching across his face, the dealers one by one lining up, to feel this new.. Experience.

"Now this guy, this guy here.." He takes the battle worn Twileks head gently into his arms, making him walk to the side of Korwin so the rest could see... The Twilek was so high, that he did not know what was going on. He just wanted another buzz.

"He is going to get so high he will not be able to move, now who wants that !?" The Jedi is almost shouting now and those who can understand what is happening just shout their applause.

Taking a step back he pulls the Pimp stick to his chest, the hard golden ball on the end aimed like a golf club at the head of the Twilek, before swinging violently, the end of the staff connecting with the head, the blue Twilek let out an exuberant gasp as he collapsed to the floor. The rest of the men just cheered, believing he is now in a world of pleasure... Korwin didn't know if he was, but he knew he would be in a world of pain when he woke up.

Val's jaw dropped again as her padawan nonchalantly waltzed right up to the group. She was beginning to rethink her decision to bring him on missions. Perhaps he was the type that needed to be confined to a temple after all. However, Val was surprised when he appeared to have full control of the situation, the smugglers awed by his presentation. She had to bury her face into her palm. Why did she land in the strangest situations ever? She watched as the twi'lek fell to the ground. Soon, however, the smugglers shifted uncomfortably. Val knew she had to distract them. She quickly sprung out from her hiding spot.

"And I'm his lovely assistant...er..Candy!"

She took a bow, striking a pose. The men whistled and clapped. Val looked around, smiling widely.

"How many of you have always wanted to know what it's like to fly?!"

They all raised their hands. One voice stood out from the rest.

"We're flyin right nooowww maaaan!"

Val nodded and led the human out to the front of the room. A Rodian also volunteered himself. She looked around, only three more men left to deal with. Val glanced over at Korwin, biting back a grin.

"And now observe as these lovely gentlemen experience the powers of LEVITATION!"

"OOOOOO!!!"

She nodded at Korwin to help her bullshit, slowly beginning to lift the two men. The room erupted with howls and cries of amazement, followed by clapping. One of them looked absolutely terrified, repeatedly checking the container of the deathstick to confirm that it wasn't laced with some unknown ingredients. Val continued to lift the men up, the two giggling like idiots. They waved their guns about carelessly, something that made her a bit nervous. However, Val abruptly jerked them up towards the ceiling, bonking them both on the head. They fell in a heap, also knocked unconscious. Val simply laughed. Her voice was mocking, as if speaking to a group of children.

"Uh oh, looks like they got a little too excited! They want a little nap."

The men burst into giggles, pointing at their comrades now on the ground. Val couldn't believe Korwin's idiotic idea was actually working..

He smiled lightly as the show unraveled, but he started to be unable to think of such good quirks as his dignity came back to him, looking at the two that remained he sort of just shrugged and asked them something in a very patronizing voice.

"Do you guys, want to go for a ride ?" He smiled, standing to his full height, the one furthest away, only half intoxicated stood to his feet and withdrew his blaster.

"You guys, you guys... You guys scare me okay.. L-Leave me out of t-this.. I s-swere.. I will kill you !" He screams loudly.

Raising his hands, the pimp stick touched the roof, he rattled it around to get the mans attention to be drawn to it before using the force to run behind him and as he darted around Korwin shouted

"By the power invest in me, I now announce you, high !" Before thrusting his stick, into the mans gentiles, the golden ball making them ring like bells as he collapsed onto the floor, hitting his head on the table on the way down..

Sighing he walked over to the man still dumbfounded and kicked him in the side of the head, he looked to his master... Smiled then proceeded to take the bags of drugs, worth millions of credits most probably and loaded them into the ventilation shaft between their room and the Managers office, but little did he realize (for some reason) that the ventilation shaft wasn't just for those two rooms, but he didnt realize this till it was too late.

Their was two types of drug, predominantly Yarrok, there was no way he would put death sticks in there. Yarrok is a drug which was given to warriors before war in order to give them clear direction and meaning.. It boosted confidence temporarily, but mixed in was a strange red drug which give strange visions and would reduce the reasoning powers of the people...

But after loading the vent full of the stuff, he took a match, lit it and stuck it on the spice, it started to burn fast.. He then turned the air conditioning on, distributing it rapidly across the club he shouted to his master.

"Hold your breathe !"

In a matter of minutes the air in the club was now red and he could feel the people sitting down, or collapsing, they would be fine he knew but the manager... hopefully he would be subdued, but.. He hadn't thought of the alternative, he could now be more angry.

"Wait no!!"

Val watched him dump all the drugs down, though she couldn't argue that it was best to get rid of them. However, getting the entire club under the influence of drugs was definitely not part of her plan. She scowled at Korwin, shaking her head.

"I need to get you on a leash.."

She held her breath, making her way to the room the manager was in. Val was partially worried that the drugs had made him angry instead of more sedated. Val could hear the various cries from the club, where patrons were toppling over or hallucinating. She couldn't imagine how insane it must have been out right now. The Jedi quietly made her way to the second room, this one darker than the other. Val was hit with the contact high from the drugs, her eyes glazing over. She looked over at Korwin, frowning instantly when it looked like each strand of his hair was a living, wiggling worm.

"Terrific... this made our job much easier."

Val stared at the ground for a long time, convincing herself that it was not, in fact, lava. Each step was terrifying, and they still had yet to find the manager. Her connection to the Force wavered slightly, making it more difficult to detect him. Val whispered angrily to Korwin.

"If that man comes charging out at us like Leeroy Jenkins, I swear to ****ing God."

Korwin turned to his master. After he had inhaled the drugs deep into his lungs. His eyes were larger then life, but at the back of his mind he heard the voice of reason, vaguely. It screamed for him to sedate the manager, take the money and leave. Aslong as he could hear this one sane thought, he didn't mind.

He didn't mind he was out of his brains on drugs, he didn't mind that the corridor slowly brought them into a lush green forest and he didn't mind that a flying pixie was criticizing him.

He arched his eyebrows, and looked at the pixie closely. He brought his index finger to her nose gently and said quietly.

"Now look here Pixie." He started to sound emotional with every word. "I didn't bring you here to the depths of the Ratatouille Forests so do not believe that I will lead us out either ! But believe this. I will become a wizard." Saying that he walks into the managers office, leaving his master in confusion behind, making her wonder what made her look like a pixie...

The managers room was a long but narrow room, it contained many bookshelves and at the end a desk, on which thousands if not millions of credits lay. But to the young adventurer he could only see a chest of gold and the evil Drow sat behind it, twiddling his thumbs.

The Manager stood up, high as a kite he could barely understand what was happening, but he seemed resigned to walking on his tip toes, he was high before the incident and the mix of drugs made him awfully angry, violent.

"Now listen to me, you... Pesants, you will not I say you will not reclaim the sword of the King!" With these words he swung at Korwin, but he missed so terribly. He put his body weight behind the blow and he fell over. But jumping back to his feet he head butted the magician.

Korwin, being knocked into the wall, screams and lunges at the manager, kicking him in the head in a spectacular way. The manager yelps staggering backwards but still remains upright. Korwin then starts to bounce on the spot punching him in the head repeatedly till he falls over, he then pulls one of the bookcases down on the manager, then collapsed ontop of the bookcase.

He looked towards the pixie and said quietly. "I don't know if I will make it, if I don't take the gold and live like a Queen !" he then fell asleep, a side effect of the drug.

It wouldn't be hard to wake him up, but the site before Val was incredible, an office, destroyed and the manager knocked out beneath a bookshelf with her stoned Padawan sleeping ontop of the Bookshelf that imprisoned the man.

Val also spotted the Drow, freezing in place. She nervously glanced over at Korwin, attempting to figure out a way to handle the situation.

"Why is that Drow in the surface world?! He must be powerful!"

She reached for her twin sabers, only to spot Korwin already in action. Val ran towards them, although she felt like she was doing so in a slow and epic fashion. In reality, she was actually taking each step incredibly slowly, like you see in the movies. Val felt powerful and like a warrior elf, ready to vanquish the Drow that had laid to waste her peaceful wood elf village. She 'ran' towards him, reaching for a magic weapon of awesome power, which just so happened to be a bong idly sitting on a side table. Val grabbed it and hurled it at the Drow with all her might, screaming like a crazy warrior princess. As the bong collided with his face, she could have sworn she saw stars flying around him. Val looked up just in time to see the bookshelf topple over, but in her mind she saw an entire mountain collapse on him. And on top of it was the hero of the day, the knight in shining armor. Val saluted him.

"WE RISE TOGETHER! HUMANS AND ELVES JOINING FORCES TO VANQUISH ALL EVIL!"

With that, her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she passed out where she stood. Thankfully, with all the chaos going on in the club, no one paid attention to the back rooms.

---

"Do you know why you're here?"

Val scowled at Korwin. He would be sitting across from her in a training room. She had a serious look on her face, though inside she still found the entire situation humorous. It was the morning after their strange mission that included them both heavily under the influence of drugs. Val had woken up at some point and dragged his sorry ass back to his quarters. She had summoned him to a training room early in the morning. Val still smelled like the spices, though she had showered several times.

Val did not wait for an answer, closing her eyes. She called the Force to herself, focusing her thoughts. Val knew Korwin was rather..eccentric and needed to be tamed a bit. For today, they would be focusing more on theory. She knew she had to keep the hands on stuff for when he wasn't so crazy.

"All right, Korwin, tell me the Jedi tenets and your interpretation of each one."

As she said so, she watched another Jedi master walk past their training room. She looked back at Korwin, suddenly whispering.

"I'm adding a tenet on right now: If you and your master get stoned off your asses, you do not repeat the information to anyone else within the Order. Got it?!"

He scratched his head uncomfortably, evidently still not feeling himself and believing everything to of been a strange and disturbing dream.. He woke up feeling as if someone had put his head in an oven and smelt like particular spices.

But as he sat across from his master he remained silent, lost in thought of the mystical forest and the Drow he managed to subdue, wondering what happened to him. He opened his mouth slowly and began to speak in a low voice, different from his usual but probably a side effect from inhaling so much... Spice.

"A Jedi does not fight for adventure or glory.

Alright, well we... Jedi, are the guardians of peace and justice in the Republic, and the Galaxy as a whole. Therefore we must stay true.

We can't help emotions, but we have to learn to control these emotions with rational decisions.

Feelings of attraction and love must be explored carefully, to avoid... Problems.

The Jedi are to respect life, in any form, and only take life when necessary “ He coughs under his breath “Even if you are a lean mean Bogan grilling machine “

Jedi protect the week and defenseless

We have to listen to the High Councils decisions.

We can't accumulate weal-..” He pauses for a second, his hands entering his inside pocket to feel a lot of credits inside, his eyes dart from left to right then to his master and he then zips the pocket back up muttering something about going to a better cause “... Accumulate wealth. Finally, we have to consider the manifestations of the Force. Oh, wait ! There is one more don't get your mas- Oh, wait, nevermind.” He smiles, going red and then looks to the floor still slightly embarrassed from what has happened the night before.

Val listened carefully, biting back a smile. The way he was rattling them off almost reminded her of a time long ago when she had done the same. This was the part of the training she hated most. It was disgustingly boring, but necessary. Unlike Korwin, she had been punished to write the tenets down ten times and hand it in. How strange it was that the same Master was now her husband...

Her musings were cut short when she watched him shuffle credits about. Val sighed. This was going to be a tough padawan. She waited till he finished, nodding in satisfaction that he had at least memorized them.

"Good, now tell me what they mean to you. Which do you agree or disagree with?"

In her mind, she went over the tenets she herself had broken. It was strange to sit here and rigidly teach a student and mold him to be a model Jedi, when she herself had gone against almost everything the Order stood for. However, she had always been there when it needed her the most.

He wanted to say his opinion, but he couldn't be bothered with any arguments, or debates. But he couldn't lie, she would know. He sighed and listed them again, but this time said what he really thought.

"A Jedi does not fight for adventure or glory. While this is true, I think it is not smart to think that younger people, like myself... Could really desire, well not desire for I do desire to be a perfect Jedi but it isn't very practical... For example, you in your grand old age of.. 27 are clearly a disciplined disciple of the force. But I, a young 18 year old male, want to see the Galaxy and adventure, while later on... I will not mind, if that makes sense.." He realizes his argument is strangely structure and he smiles, then continues on.

Alright, well we... Jedi, are the guardians of peace and justice in the Republic, and the Galaxy as a whole. Yes we are guardians of peace and justice, but this is a double bladed sword for who are we to say what peace is and justice ? For I know of many places where my opinion is different to that cultures, and yours is probably different to mine. What I think it means is do what you think is right, regarding that particular race, culture, situation..." Its clear he has thought these out over time and he seems eager to show his study's and his indepth opinions.

We can't help emotions, but we have to learn to control these emotions with rational decisions. Well, I can control my emotions I would like to think but at the end of the day we are animals. Is it really that easy to control love ? I wouldn't think so, I couldn't say for I have never been really in love, is it easy to stop ones self from a number of things ? I think the problem is is that people say that these emotions can lead to passion, which leads to the Sith code.

A number of things that most Jedi do can lead to the Sith code, it is impractical and wrong to say that only emotions can do this.

Feelings of attraction and love must be explored carefully, to avoid... Problems. Well I already spoke abit about this, love... Other things too.. They need to be regulated and approached calmly, but I think that the two people need to come to some sort of.. Whats the term for it ? " He stops talking for a second, taking a moment to bite his nails as he thought for the word. "understanding, of their love and commitments to the order, and to their duty as a whole, but I think the Jedi are to strict on this.

The Jedi are to respect life, in any form, and only take life when necessary. Its hard this point, because sometimes if you take a life to save another hundred is that wrong ? If you know that in six months or a year that this person will go on a rampage killing others, would it be wrong to kill them ? I don't know, it seems like a greater good, but who knows when this greater good will lead to ? I don't, but maybe one day I will...

Jedi protect the weak and defenseless. This is just.. Common sense.

We have to listen to the High Councils decisions..." He stops for a moment and looks at you, his smile widening then almost stretching from one side of his face to the other. " If we took this rule seriously we would either be out of the order, or definitely strict little monks."

Val coughed when he referred to her 'grand old age' of 27. She wanted to protest and point out that she barely looked a day over 20. However, as he went more in depth about his views on the tenets, Val had to smile. He surprised her, obviously having a lot more depth to him than he had led her to believe. She was quite impressed, remaining silent long after he had finished.

"The galaxy out there..the real world...is not fitting for someone that strictly follows those tenets. I live out there myself. I fight in the battles, I live as a civilian, I.."

'Have children,' but she didn't add that bit. Val couldn't believe how close she had come to divulging that information. It pained her to keep it locked away. The Jedi rose to her feet and came back a moment later. She put a strand of thread in front of him, along with a needle. Val glanced up at him.

"What I'm about to have you do now will pretty much exhaust you and wear you out for the rest of the day. However, it will give you a considerably higher measure of control of your abilities."

Val shifted both the needle and thread towards him, raising them to levitate in the air.

"Keep both suspended and try to put the thread through the eye of the needle. You can't touch it and must completely and utterly focus in order to guide the thread in. This will probably take you all day to manage, but you must keep working at it. And remember...both have to stay hung in mid air or it doesn't count. So your first challenge is to master your control on keeping them suspended to keep the needle from shifting too much. Second is to grasp supreme control of the thread and apply exactly the right amount of force control behind the motion to guide it in."
