"This is acceptable, if feels comfortable" She answered.

"Good. Prepare to block my attacks." He commanded.
Galykia then attacked the padawan with a simple horizontal slice aimed at the body of the padawan. It was a quick strike but not a powerful one.

In a swift and graceful movement, Ashe brought the training saber downward to block the attack with ease.

"Well, it appears you are not completely incompetent with combat. Now I will throw a boat load of attacks, some strong, some fast. Maybe even a few of my hardest hitting attacks as well.
Achieve the same state you aquired with meditation, except without the meditating part. This will allow you to block these fierce strikes."
Galykia readied his saber and threw another simple attack after waiting a few moments. Then he threw a flurry of attacks from all angles and strength.

Ashe readied herself, due to her bit of combat experience weak attacks were no match for her, but when a Jedi began to change it up it would become quite difficult. In the moment of pause before he struck, she attempted to clear her mind and focus on moving her blade to block the hit. The first attack was easy, just like the last, she easily parried and prepared for more. Once he began to flurry her with attacks, her mind began to cloud with thoughts of doubt that she would be able to block if the attacks got stronger and so she sat hit a few times, in the upper arm, in the thigh and once in the ribs. The pain was nothing she hadn't felt before but it still stung like crazy, but it was with that pain that her mind cleared, ad she was finally able to block the last few attacks, not with so much ease as the first but enough to lessen the blow.

"Not bad for a rookie. Keep in mind that this form is not strong against one on one saber fighting. I have an advantage in terms of style, among other obvious abilities.
So we shall switch at this point and put focus on blocking blaster shots. Of course it is to dangerous to do so at this point."

Galykia inserted his hand in his jedi robe and removed a pouch. He took out a dozen small pebbles. Using the force, he focused on levitating all 12 in front of him.

"I shall throw these at a manner similiar to blaster fire. Block them. It will be especially crucial to be focused mentally and physically with the force. I will give you a moment to get your focus and then proceed without warning."

After a pause for a minute and a half, he made a single pebble accelerate at a high speed. It was aimed directly at the padawans stomach and approached straight as an arrow.

Ashe nodded and began to focus herself in the few moments that she had. her connection to the force had grown quite a bit in the few hours of training, and she was beginning to find that it was much easier to connect with the force as time went on. Just when she was about ready, the pebble shot at her. With a quick movement she lowered the blade and made contact with the pebble and altered its direction away from her.

"Excellent. Lets see how far we can push it, shall we?" Galykia was impressed by the padawans ability, she showed promise.

Galykia proceeded by throwing two rocks at the padawan one high the other low. The latter of which was slightly slower as to give the padawan time to block both.

Just like before, Ashe focused herself before the rocks were launched at her, this allowed her to react much quicker and thus, hit the first rock and redirect it away from her, but when the second came she overcompensated and missed the rock, but luckily was able to dodge, "Lets try one more time, I think I can get it" She said, assuredly.

Galykia gave an approving nod and began focusing. He once again shot two pebbles towards the adawan, one high, the other low. This time the lower rock was the quicker of the two.

Like she had done previously, Ashe found her focus and concentrated on the rocks. When her master fired them at her she was prepared and was able to move swiftly and deflect the slower moving high rock and then move her blade quickly enough the deflect the lower rock without much trouble.

"Good. Again.". Galykia shot out another pair of pebbles. One towards the knees and another at the stomach. Both traveled at the same speed, requiring a single block to be lined up perfectly in order to block both.

Ashe was mentally prepared for the next test. She was easily able to focus on the rocks just before her master let them loose; however when it came time for her body to react it didn't work as swiftly, nor did it have to proper angle to block both of the rocks, and so one of them slipped past her knees. Her determination didn't waver and with a glance at her master she muttered, "Again" and prepared.

"Alright, if you insist." Galykia said. He once again slung a pair of rocks at the padawan at the same time and speed. This time one rock was angled to the other knee, while the second was higher on the stomach.

Ashe prepared her mind and focused once again on the rocks, but unlike before she also focused on herself and told her body to move exactly how she wanted it to. When the rocks approached her body and mind reacted together and with the proper angle of her blade she was able to deflect the two rocks at the same time.

"Alright, good job.". He said with a smile.
He continued practicing with the padawan on blocking pebbles that simulated blaster fire. After hours of training, he decided it was time for a break.

Galykia began walking toward the entrance that led into the temple. After walking down a few empty hallways they reached a large door. He opened it to enter a large room containing towering shelves containing an untold amount of information and history. He sat down at a table stacked with several books and holocrons.
"Lets begin studying. Tell me what you know about the Jedi Orders history."

After the hours of practice Ashe was ready for a break and apparently her master thought so too. She followed him into the temple and into what appeared to be a library. She glimpsed around for a moment reading the miscellaneous titles that were on the shelves then returned her focus on her master when he asked her a question about the Order, "I don't know much about the history, just that the Order has been around for thousands of years" she said hoping she wouldn't be scolded for her ignorance.

"The future Jedi started out as a group on Tython, thousands of years ago was formed with force users such as you and I. Since the force was still a new idea to people, many users were easily led to the darkside with no warning. Thus splitting up good and evil.

This led to a large conflict between the group that would later become the Jedi order and the others that fell to the darkside. This was known as the Force Wars that plagued the planet for years. Formed after the war was the modern Jedi Order that exists today. This is also when one of the jedis most powerful tools was created, the lightsaber.

Take these books and study. We will continue tomorrow morning in the garden." Galykia then left.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the morning, Galykia returned to the garden. He waited for the padawan to show up. Soon she will be ready to create her own lightsaber, but first needs to show profiecency in combat. Today would focus on attacking, rather than defending.

Ashe listened carefully to her master as he told her a bit about the history of the Jedi, she made sure to remember as much as possible; which wasn't a problem for her, for some reason she was able to retain allot of information without forgetting much. When her master left, Ashe opened the book and began reading. In the hours that passed she had managed to read through one of the books and was nearly halfway through the other book. She peeked outside and noticed that it was quite dark and she was rather tired, but she wanted to do as she was told so she continued reading until the first light of dawn emerged. By the she had just finished the books and was ready to get a bit of sleep, so she returned to her chambers and quickly fell asleep. About six hours later she awoke and made her way to the gardens for another day of training.
