The pursuit of knowledge. Having helped establish the Yavin Jedi Temple Security Force, Drow Venn has shored up the Jedi's defenses. Wanting to take a more active role in protecting the Temple, Venn has asked for the title of Chief of Security to head up the Temple guard, citing his soldiering experience. Jedi Council member Lena Goordayr promised the title once Drow attained the rank of Master and pointed the Ishi Tib in the direction of an old Jedi Holocron.
The Holocron belonged to former Jedi Battlemaster, Cin Drallig, who was one of the old Order's finest duelists and recorded a wealth of information in the Holocron. Such an object would be incredibly valuable to the Order and particularly to Drow as he wants to learn everything he can from the man who protected the Coruscant Temple for so long. After the destruction of the Coruscant Temple during Order 66, the Holocron fell into the hands of a wealthy aristocrat named Rin Praji, who won it in an auction. Now, Parji's descendant holds the holocron and is willing to part with it if the Jedi play their cards right...
1. Negotiations (Self/Dm): Travelling to the planet Kaikelius, the Jedi in search of the Holocron would meet with Nestor Praji, a distant descendant of Rin Praji. Nestor is the current owner of the Holocron and is nowhere near as amused with tales of the Jedi as his ancestor was. However, he still knows the rarity of the object he has in his possession and, ever the businessman, wants the Jedi to work for this piece. It's up to them to convince him to relinquish this artifact to the Jedi.

2. In Search of a Plant (DM/Some Dice Rolls): Assuming the Jedi were able to convince Nestor, one thing that he'd want them to do is recover a rare plant from the planet Teth. More of a rare plant collector than a Jedi artifact collector, Nestor knows that Teth is too dangerous for one as soft as him to venture to. But for a Jedi? Far more feasible.
Participants: @Isen Ramm
3. No Appearance Fee (Self/DM): While Nestor may not care about the Jedi, his daughter can't get enough of them. And she's having an eighteenth birthday coming up. Nestor would be a lot more willing to relinquish the Holocron if a few Jedi were to make a complimentary appearance at the party and convince his social circle that he's a bigshot and that his daughter is the coolest kid in the galaxy.

OOC: I'd asked about this thread way back when but real life got in the way of me starting it. I've tagged everyone who expressed interest previously but feel free to participate in one, two, or all of these threads if you hadn't expressed interest before.
