I am much more concerned about people signing up two or three characters and then getting themselves bogged down and then the whole event get bogged down. I know these type of events have a tendacy to drag on even when people write one character. Now if a person doesn't keep up and is involved in three threads...one or two of those could bring the whole thing to crawl.

How exactly does this work then? Does everyone participating know the outcome before we start? Or will you/another admin make periodic interpretive posts regarding the battle as a whole? I'm just having trouble imagining how something of this scale will effectively function (not that I don't think it will, I'm just curious as to how we'll go about doing it).

We have a plan for the ending that works regardless of any tactical outcomes in the thread. So the people participating don't need to know exactly what will happen, since it'll happen no matter what.

I had intended myself to bring all 3 of my guys, but the one good thing is that 2 of them generally stick together due to being siblings. I think I could do it, provided they (admins) agree to allow them. I agree, I really don't want to bog people down.
