Gren was strong, something her mere form gave hint to and while she was indeed surprised to suddenly find herself lifting an entire Sith, it wasn't so much that she immediately lost her grip. Instead, she was able to hold him in the air for a crucial few moments, long enough to seal his fate as she watched Mei immediately turn her failed attack into another swing with her other lightsaber at the Sith's legs. She would drop him however, after those crucial moments, halfway turning to check on the Cecil's progress, whilst still keeping an eye on Mei and her opponent. It was just in time to take a blaster bolt to the chest, blowing off a chunk of her armor, and making her jump back in alarm, narrowly avoiding another hit.
More shots followed, precise clean shots that were now absolutely useless. She could see that they were coming from the outpost wall, from a single solitary figure on the ramparts. Now that she could see where they were coming from and from so far away, it was easy to deflect or dodge them one at a time, bringing her lightsaber up into the proper positioning for each one as it came. She sent them every which way, a few into the ground, a few into the air, a few just off into the distance, one back at the shooter. She even dodged a few with quick movements. It was like back in training, only easier.
Keeping an eye behind her just in case, Gren started to edge forward back towards the gate, back towards her own troops, who were furiously assaulting their target along with Cecil in his dust cloud. As she did so, she started allowing the force to pool within her, preparing it for use as she moved into the dust cloud, which would conceal her from the figure on the ramparts. Although she would keep watching the sniper and her surroundings until the last moments, ready for anything tricky or unusual.
