Sundari Royal Palace
~Mandalore~

The city of Sundari was booming with life. In the royal palace, a festival had occurred, well it was still going on. The new Mand'alore, Ral Vizla, had just given a wonderful speech to the people about their triumphs in raising the Dominion to what it was today. There was then a lively party in the halls of the palace where many of the officials and honored guests were drinking and conversing over how things were going. But one guest couldn't stand to hear any more about politics or government. Her name was Evelyn Tenebris. She'd had too much of everything and quite frankly was getting annoyed at getting insulted. See, Evelyn was not a Mandalorian nor did she even have the faintest trace of Mandalorian blood in her. While her family and clan had always been good friends, she was typically an outcast when she visited Sundari. The only reason she came was to be with Ral. They'd been together in a relationship for nearly five years. However, it was clear that not everyone thought so highly of their coupling as she thought. That's why she needed to step outside to get some air.

Still wearing her lovely blue royalty gown she'd bought specifically for this event she made her way to the balcony and peered over the edge to look at the great city before her. In her hands she was now on her third glass.....third? Fourth? Oh dear. She was tipsy already. She sighed and tried to let the cold air calm her nerves. She hated trying to be so social and likable. It wasn't like her at all. But she wasn't doing it for Ral like some woman might think. She wasn't in a relationship with him for the money or for the fame. Five years ago no one could have expected he'd be the next Mand'alore. She loved him for who he was. That's why she was on her best behavior not to embarrass him. Too bad no one else seemed to give her more than a passing glance. Half breed, outsider, whore. Her heart ached for comfort. Words could be so cruel.

"Damn...what a homecoming."

Outcast. That was his name name now and he still felt like one. It was strange to be back on his homeworld for so many reasons, and even stranger to be in the palace. He had watched a new era birthed during his exile. The Republic had taken it's final breath, the Sith had reestablished their Empire, and now as his father had predicted so long ago; their people had risen up in the form of the Dominion. It was a day of speeches, debauchery, and celebration for the reborn warrior nation.

"Oya Mandalore..." The scarred young man said sarcastically, raising his glass to the city below the balcony upon which he was secluding himself. After the speech and the...altercation with his father afterwards. He sighed, closing his eyes as the cool evening air washed over him. He was wearing his armor without the helm.

His eyes were still closed when he heard the door open behind him. Looking over his shoulder, he saw a woman. No. Not a woman, -the- woman. He had just returned and he knew all about her, she was the talk of the palace. Not that that was a good thing. He could tell she was tipsy, nursing what was surely not her first glass of wine. In fact she didn't even notice him camped out at the far right end of the balcony. But he noticed her body language. He sighed, mentally this time.

"Well, well. I thought only I would be out here hiding from the celebrations. I didn't expect to see the belle of the ball." Outcast finally broke the silence. His words weren't dripping with sarcasm, mockery, or any hidden meaning.

"Well, well. I thought only I would be out here hiding from the celebrations. I didn't expect to see the belle of the ball."

"Oh I'm sorry!" she would say backing away from the ledge. "I didn't realize this balcony was reserved. Did you want me to leave you alone then?"

Of course she wasn't really being serious, more playful. Certainly not sarcastic by any means. If he truly wanted her to leave and for him to be alone then she'd leave without a second glance. She'd have some choice words with Ral about the man afterwards, but otherwise she would not put up a fight. She would smile at him, trying her best to stay elegant and proper amidst the fact she wasn't feeling like herself. "I'm Evelyn Tenebris. You are?"

"Don't be sorry." He said, turning and leaning against the railing with his back. She could now see the man's scarred face and his eyes. "I don't own anything on this planet. Feel free to stay or not if I make you uncomfortable. Though something tells me your are far more comfortable out here than inside at the moment."

He nods politely when she introduces herself. "I'm Outcast, Outcast Ordo. Yes. That is my real name. You probably know my father, Molok the 'Mighty.' Than again you may not. Not sure how much you know about our culture. And I know who you are, everyone does. I know more about you than...Ral is his name right?"

As he turned around his scared face would be visible to her. She tried not to stare, but she was a rather curious thing. She moved a little closer and titled her head to the side like a puppy not understanding something. "Uh...yeah. Out here." She wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying she'd been too lost on his scars. To her, scars were a mark of pride. It meant you fought bravely and did not shy away from danger. That was sexy to her. But her curiosity overshadowed her flirtatious desires as she really wanted to know the story behind them.

Still Evelyn would stare at the man. His name was Outcast? His father was Mighty. She wasn't one to judge other's but this was a little strange. "Sorry I kind of skipped the History lessons." She giggled and moved a little closer again. "Ok...I gotta ask. What's with the face?" Not the most polite ways of asking but she had to know.

Outcast raised an eyebrow. Watching the woman's mannerisms, her body language. The tilt of her head, where her eyes lingered; he didn't mind. He liked his scars. He was used to the stares. She was curious and he could practically see the questions forming before her lips ever uttered them. So he went ahead and decided to answer a few before she got to the main one he knew was coming.

"My name was changed to Outcast, I wasn't named that at birth. My father is a Duke of House Order, Clan Ordo, named Molok Ordo; otherwise known as Molok the Mighty. A famous Mandalorian warrior in his heyday." Outcast raised an eyebrow as she giggled and moved closer, speaking. He knew what was coming.

"Sorry I kind of skipped the History lessons. Ok...I gotta ask. What's with the face?"

"Heh, I was wondering how long you would keep that question contained." He managed a smirk, crossing his arms on his chest as he leaned back. "These scars are courtesy of my first ever job on my own believe it or not. I was trained from the time I could stand be an elite commando. An expert in all weapons, strategies, blahblahblah."

"So suffice to say....I was a cocky little shit."

"None of it mattered. Not my physique, weapons, planning, skills. It all went to hell on Tattooine, right after my exile. Some merchants had missing caravans out near Anchorhead, they suspected Tusken Raiders. My job was to find them, take them out, and recover the missing supplies if any."
He shrugged. "So I went on the hunt. Turns out...the new supply route went right through a canyon where a mama Rancor decided to give birth to a brood."

While some might listen to his story with a certain sadness, Evelyn listened like she was hearing it as a war story. He was proud of his scars, why shouldn't he? When he finished she would reach up and make sure her breasts were covered, and then slid her dress slightly off to the side. He'd see a large scar resembling a cut on her ribs. "My little sister gave me this," she would say. "The little devil was sneaky. She got under my arm and ran me through with one of her knives. I thought I died that day. I was so discouraged. So upset. I felt weak. But as I lie there in the medical building, I realized something. My little sister who was so much smaller than me...beat me with speed. She gave me the inspiration to keep fighting. For years I would always lose to my brothers because they were stronger than me. I thought, if she could beat me...I could beat them. From then on I started winning."
