Please note that I will be doing a mass overhaul for her biography. I know that age is retconned, but blech. I'd like it to not terribly effect the other characters. It's been interesting to see how I've progressed since I've joined here, nonetheless.

Training
Tessa found a master in this thread, in which she began training.

She studied a healing holocron here.

Here, she trained with the old Jedi Battlemaster to learn how to properly utilize Ataru.

Tessa studied the Force here, learning new techniques.

And here, she learned about Lore and how to communicate telepathically and block her thoughts from being read.

Other:

Here, Tessa demonstrated Saberstaff combat to her current Master.

Missions

Here, Tessa obtained a holocron from a tomb with her master and another Padawan and even fought against a Sithspawn.

Here, our aspiring Padawan made her way to the dangers of Ilum in Chiss space to construct a lightsaber.

After needing a clarity of thought, Tessa embarked on a solo mission to obtain a Kasha crystal.

Here, she went with a group of Jedi to attempt to be diplomatic with their Imperial Knight allies. It's probably still being debated whether they passed or failed her.

Here, the Imperial Knights and Jedi fought on Dxun against a monstrosities forces, eventually killing the Sithspawn and returning with a wounded Jedi.

One issue, as I've somewhat said before, is her age most definitely needs to be raised before she becomes a Knight. Simply it's not realistic and I'm not going to approve of a teenaged Knight.

Personally I like it to be in the 20's...

As well, and I've said before, it only affects other characters if they, and you, don't know how to RP well enough to get over it. I constantly update my characters ages and it doesn't effect anything. As well, those you've been RPing with need to then, obviously, up their ages as well.

My other note is, after skimming through a number of the linked threads, that there is minimal character development. This doesn't necessarily affect your promotion to Knight, but for Master it will. At least for me. It's all well and good that your character accomplished a lot of tasks, but her mental progress, I don't think, is accurately portrayed. I mean that it's hard to tell how much she had matured and whatnot.

Those are my thoughts for the moment.

I've already stated that the age will be retconned and I've been told a range of ages. I'll average yours with the other Jedi staff and get my age that way.

Furthermore, I'd appreciate it if you constructively criticized my roleplay, instead of saying that I'm not good enough to overcome it.

I'd then like you to see your oxymoronic (please note that oxymoronic is just dealing with conflicting terms. It means no offense.) sentences.

I constantly update my characters ages and it doesn't effect anything. As well, those you've been RPing with need to then, obviously, up their ages as well.

You update your character's age and it doesn't effect anything, yet everyone around you ages up as well? I don't mean to complain, but if I upgraded my age like you said, that would easily create a time warp which would grow larger as it spread across as I aged her up. I received advice from the leader when I first created the character to just retcon her age all at once as to keep trouble from happening.

So, with that advice I kept her age moving incredibly slowly, perhaps a month a thread, advancing her age around my birthday for time's sake, which would leave for little room for maturity growth.

I had everything planned out, carefully so. Now that the majority of the people Tessa has RPed with are in the Imperial Knights (Matsu and her Padawans), I'm at a bit of a halt with character progression. I think that the threads suffice for her age.

Thanks for the review. I hope we can come onto some form of terms. If I'm allowed to progress her aging faster without created massive time warps, I'll do so and reflect her maturity over time.

In that quote, I was talking about 2 separate things; first part was about me, second part was about the people you RP with.

I'm just saying it only creates a time-warp if you let it... no one really cares about age all that much. That said, then one could argue "then why do I care?" That is because you have her age listed. For example; GABA doesn't have Ebberla's age listed, that means she has the liberty to age her character as she wants and no one can complain. However, because you (as well as I) have the age listed, it kind of makes a difference. Either way, I find the fear of creating 'time-warps' irrational... I"m pretty sure you can figure out a way to go around that, much as I have when I upped my character's age but those around me that I had RPed with previously didn't.

(Quick example, with Ayva I've aged her like... 6 years while her paddies have stayed the same age... has anyone noticed? No... no one cares and it hasn't effected anything. While it should to keep it realistic, I can just say that she was whatever age when she did whatever she did. If people complain, then I'll have the others up the ages of their characters. However, that's not a concern people have, only with how old Knights and Masters are when they're promoted.)

However, I understand the fact that you have RPed with, basically, the same group of users the whole time. I would suggest branching out a bit more if you already haven't, which I haven't been keeping track of. Even so, my issue would extend to them as well, so it's not even directed to just you.

And I apologize for my ignorance (temporary memory loss) of 'retcon', I'm unfamiliar with many terms on RPs and the like. I wasn't totally sure what it meant, but now that I do my meaning is not changed and I gave you an age which, as you said, will be averaged which is a good way to go. So that's no longer an issue.

While it wasn't explicitly stated so, I didn't mean to imply that you were a bad RPer; I simply said what I saw wasn't good enough for Master status, in my opinion, at this time. I never said you would never get any better or you might put more into your posts. As well, I did constructively criticize your roleplaying by saying that I felt not enough character development happened, that you more just did stuff rather than wrote out her thoughts and feelings to everything. While I recognize you did this, more might be better and would make it a bit more interesting.

That said, my vote is the same as before; Tessa should be granted Knighthood.
