Teriza's Legacy / Certh

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza sat in the lobby of the Temple in Ossus. He was told he was to meet his new master Certh. He watched all the masters teach their padawans. Teriza took a breath, and thought he would soon would have a new padawan.

 

[Certh]

Certh, the newely knighted jedi walks through the enclave and into the lobby. Having the datapad in his hand, the screen displays his new padawans information.

"Hm, Teriza Gore, has some interesting background information."

Certh, seeing his apprentice on the bench in the lobby, walks up to him and begins to speak.

"Hello Teriza, I am Certh Salamar, your new master"

He says as he folds up the data pad and puts it into the pocket on his jedi robe, revealing his lightsaber as he puts it away.

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza saw someone approaching him, with something in his hand. Teriza got up when he said it was his new master and bowed. When he brought his body up from his bow he saw a glimpse of his light saber. "Teriza Gore. Where do we start?" Teriza was very axious to start.

 

[Certh]

"Hm, anxious... That's how I was when I first began my training."

Certh says as he walks toward the training room, with his padawan following.

"Tell me, what force powers do you already posses?"

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza nodded to his reply about being anxious. He then noticed him start walking Teriza started following him. "Well im guessing you read my backround, I had to take of myself half my life, and one day i was staring at food in a wrapper and it started gliding towards me. but never got to do it again master."

 

[Certh]

"Ah alright, so we'll start there then"

Certh looks at a piece of stone on the ground outside the enclave

"I want you to try to move this with your mind"

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza looked at the stone his master directed to. When he finished talking Teriza started right away. He kneeled down and stared at the stone with out any thing distracting him. "What do you mean use your mind master?"

 

[Certh]

"Will the force to move the object. Close your eyes and imagine the rock lifting up. But you must concentrate to do so."

Certh directs his young padawan to try to lift the stone using the force.

"Here, like this"

Certh then looks at a stone, 3x larger than the padawan's stone. It spontaneously lifts up into the air with ease, and sarts moving from left to right.

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza dropped open mouth when he saw his master move the stone. Teriza wasn't used to seeing stuff like that yet. "I'm supposed to do that. I'll try." Teriza closed his eyes and imagined the stone coming to him. He opened his eyes it didn't even move to him it moved a inch back. Teriza then kept trying it for 10 min. The 12 try he opened his eyes and the stone was gliding towards him choppy. He then lost control and it fell.

 

[Certh]

"Good good, now try to keep it in midair for a minute. Gradually work it up more and more."

Certh directs his padawan as the rock he was keeping held up gently touches the ground.

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza watch his master show him what to do and then said "Yes master i'll try." Teriza wanted to put a challenge on himself so he didn't close his eyes he just thought of it going up. To Teriza's amazement it started going up, Teriza let out a smile and it dropped. "Did i do good master."

 

[Certh]

"Yes, very well... Great improvement my young padawan."

Certh says in excitement as he finally taught his first padawan a skill.

"Now, you will have to perfect that in your own time. Follow me, we are going to learn another skill."

Certh then walks farther away from the enclave into what appeared to be flat prairies that went on for 10-20 miles.

"Here is where we are going to learn another force ability.. Force run."

Certh says with a smile as he stands there.

"Now, using the force I want you to attempt to speed up your running speed, let the running feed on the force instead of your stamina. That way, you can run for around 40 miles without getting tired"

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza followed his master to his new training place. He listened to his master speak. "K it doesn't seem so hard. Teriza started running. He was at his normal pace after a while of running he was about to stop to catch a breath it kicked it in pulling his body forward faster and with no pain. He started running faster and faster with out knowing he still was getting teached. Teriza stopped and thought should i go back or is he coming to me?

 

[Certh]

"Hm, seems like he got it"

Certh then begins to run as well, catching his apprentice in about 5 mins time.

"Good work my young padawan, seems like you've got the force run under control. Now I am going to teach you how to use force run and still be able to dodge enemy fire and other obstacles."

Certh tells his apprentice as he walks across the rocky land.

"First I want you to run, and I will be throwing small stones at you. I want you to dodge them first before I tell you anything, that way I'll know where I have to start teaching you this skill."

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza started running.He then got glimpses of the stones using the force to push him to the right and to the left so on. He contuined doing that and stopped when the stones stopped.
(Like when the stone about to hit him he put force on his right leg making it kick the ground which made him jump to the right pretty much.

 

[Certh]

"Good good, but now.. I want you to try to slow down everything around you, so you can dodge the stones easier."

Certh says as he has more stones behind him.

"Now I am gong to throw multiple stones at you, I want you not to do lucky dodges, I want you to speed up your reflexes and slow everything around you down."

Certh says as he begins throwing multiple stones at his padawan via the force.

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza thought for a moment how he could aviod it like that. He then saw the stones coming. Teriza watched them to see what could hit him if he stayed still that was when he tampered in with the force. His eye sight went red and it look like slow motion. Teriza saw two coming at him slow in reality fast.
He saw a opening so he turned his body so his side was showing to the direction he was going both the wrongs skinned his stomach and back as they pasted. Then another group came at him he didn't see a opening. He then remembered what he did at the beginning he put force into one leg if he put it into both maybe he could force jump. When they came near he tryed what he thought it worked he was prety much flying over them. He remembered he didn't know how to land he then screamed "help i dont know to land!"

 

[Certh]

"Alright, alright don't get panicked"

Certh then holds out his hand and then his padawan seems to just float in the air.

"Now when you land with force jump, it's just like a normal jump, except you use the force to pad your feet so you don't break any limbs."

Certh then lowers his padawan to the ground.

"Good, good. Now lets move onto force jump since you don't know how to land. I want you to jump, and then use the force to pad your legs when you land on the ground. That way you won't break any limbs."

 

[Teriza Gore]

Teriza kept freaking out intill he noticed he was floating. Teriza looked at his master, he had his hand out. Teriza then knew he must be making him float down. When Teriza reached the ground he walked around a bit while his master talked, getting used to gravity again.

Teriza listened to his master when he said force land. Teriza then tried again he put the force into both of his legs and feet and jumped. Teriza Tried not to freak out this time. When he reached near the bottom he put the force into his legs again. With out knowing he lost controll the force in the right foot when he landed and his ankle popped, and twisted. Teriza started breathing really hard. But he ignored it.

Teriza did the jump again this time landing perfect. Teriza fell to the ground after landing becuase of the pain of the foot. He learned the red sight trick where it got everything slow, but to him it just didn't do that for him. The first time he used it he saw the inside of a stone that got thrown at him. He was going to try looking at the inside of his foot to see what's wrong. When he got into the sight it started flickering for him and disapeared. "Master i messed up my foot the first time i landed and i went into my Force sight and it shut off on me what's wrong?"

 

[Certh]

"Ah nothing is wrong my young padawan. Now is a perfect time for you to learn another force ability. Force heal."

Certh says with a stern look on his face.

"I want you to concentrate, imagine the force leaving your hands and going down to your foot, and imagine that your foot is healing, then after, it will be healed..."

Certh says, as he walks over to his young padawan, waiting for him to try.
