Climate:
The climate varies widely, from arid to subarctic, depending on latitude, elevation, and proximity to the coast. Coastal and Southern parts of the planet have somewhat rainy winters and dry summers. The influence of the ocean generally moderates temperature extremes, creating warmer winters and substantially cooler summers, especially along the coastal areas. Floods are occasionally caused by heavy rain, storms, and snowmelt. Steep slopes and unstable soil make certain locations vulnerable to landslides in wet weather or during groundquakes.

Government:
The planet has a planet wide Constitutional monarchy. They have a reigning royal family (The Honorable House of Tagge), a Prime Minister, and a Parliament (A House of Lords and a House of Commons). There are also many Barons and Lords who rule different cities and territories.

Culture:
The Tepasians as a society are rather Liberal people. They stick to a more open and accepting social standard. Of course, there are small factions who disagree with this standard, but are not large enough to gain traction. The Tepasians also have many religions, but over a third of the population is monotheistic. The second largest religion (over a sixth of the population) is polytheistic. There are also many people who worship the Force and believe the Jedi and Sith are holy prophets.

Technology:
The larger cities on Tepasi are as technologically advanced as the majority of the galaxy, but many of it's smaller communities are years, even decades behind the modern norm.

History:
A planet located within the Tepasi system of the Core Worlds. A forested world situated on the Commenor Run, it was colonized by Humans before 26,000 BBY and was already emerging as a hub of commerce when it became a founding member of the Galactic Republic. It's capital city is called New Unlos Tagge.

New Unlos Tagge

New Unlos Tagge is the capital of Tepasi. It is a booming commerce hub and the business center of Tepasi. It is home to and governed by Baron von Strange. Unlos Tagge features many urban skyscrapers, residential districts, parks, and world class estates.

The Industrial District is the manufacturing hub of Tepasi. It is home to many middle class and working class people. The Industrial District features many factories, power plants, and warehouses.

Unlos Tagge

Once the original capital city of Tepasi, Unlos Tagge is now home to low income families and those of extreme poverty. The Tepasi government has tried to relocate the residents so as to demolish and rebuild the city, but have had no success. The city is currently under martial law due to many recent uprisings and riots.

Intent:
The main intent is to have a new, lesser known, planet to role-play on. This planet does not have much of a history, which it is a perfect template for any role-play. It is a place for new adventures and never ending surprises. It is also to be the homeworld of one of my characters, @Baron von Strange, who is the Baron (basically the planet's version of a mayor) of the planet's capital, New Unlos Tagge. It will also be the base for a new Czerka owned tabloid news station, @Tepasi News Channel.

There aren't many issues here, but could you elaborate, and please explain, this monotheistic religion the people of this planet follows, as it's rather contrary to the rest of Star Wars, where most are either atheistic, as far as has been shown, or has some faith in the Force, thanks to the influence of the Jedi and Sith over the years.

I'd also like to see the planet's history expanded. Due to it's location in the galaxy and it's status in the Republic, it should have a rich history equal to Kuat and Corellia and Anaxes. It's a Core world, one of the founders of the Republic.
