Tech Question

Would I do a tech plot (3 threads) if I wanted to get say a dozen basic grenades, a basic tracking device, and a basic gun? It's all basic stuff, but because I want a good amount of stuff, would this be the way to do it? Or are tech plots more for advanced tech? Maybe this much gear is too much to acquire so quickly? Or is it okay? Thanks for any help!

You shouldn’t need a tech plot. Characters can automatically start with four generic grenades, one non advanced primary and two non advanced secondary. Tech plots are mainly for advanced tech or obtaining large amounts of generic tech, like 25 grenades. Hopes this helps!
