DESCRIPTION
The TC-7 Fuel Hauler is a 45 meter long craft with four medium laser cannons mounted around the cockpit and said cockpit is flanked by two massive fuel tanks which hold 250 tons of fuel each. Inside it can fit up to six crew members, though it only takes two to fly this craft, and it can contain another 6 people who usually are guards in case of boarding. This craft is usually loaded with a full crew, at least when run by larger corporations, because they are quite popular targets for pirates. The TC-7 can defend itself quite well from lesser sized raiding parties but for larger ones it tends to not be able to defend itself, which is why they tend to be found in groups with a few escorts. According to Sworbes list "Top 10 Fuel Transportation Ships", the TC-7 is at number two. They rave about its well defended fuel tanks, just how well armored it is, and how fast it is for what it does. "The cost," they say, "is simply the cherry on top of this beautiful craft." The rave reviews had made initial sales of the TC-7 rather high. They flew off the ship docks, and after the initial hype died down sales had not declined. Indeed it seemed that the craft had caught on with major hauling companies, small time operators, pirates, and even the Rebellion had ordered quite a few of this craft. Even though the craft is rather ancient, the craft is still seen around the galaxy though not as common as it once was.
LEGALITY
Legal. Light freighters such as the TC-7 are considered innocuous enough under most jurisdictions, and are not restricted in most systems.INTENT
