Born on Coruscant she started to exhibit signs of the force at age five. She hid her force powers because her family were non-force users. Her family moved to Tatooine when she was seven. Her powers began to randomly manifest its self at odd times. She told her parents at age eight after she destroyed storage boxes in the home. Her family lived in the wilderness area to avoid living Mos Eisley, her family had wanted privacy away from the sweeping cities and politics. Her family is some of the most successful merchants in the galaxy. She left to be trained in the art of force wielding at the age of eight on Coruscant. When Coruscant fell she was whisked off to another world called Dagoba where she continued to train. She soon wished for the freedom to walk both the light and dark sides of the force. Though she loved the teachings of the Jedi she like some of the teachings of the Sith Lords, she knew that peace couldn't always happen, so she wanted to be prepared. So as she got older and completed her training she became more neutral force user. She soon completed her training with the Jedi and left the temple. She currently roams the galaxy searching for a place to belong.

She is kind, wise, patient, and just often misguided and always looking to learn. She has the cunning of the best merchant and the face of an angel, she can, however, light up the world like the best of any warrior. Her sweet demeanour makes her a great diplomat and her wielding of her lightsaber makes her a fearsome weapon. Her emotions tend to get the best of her at times. Her anger can get in her way clouding her mind in some fights. Though her fuse is long her temper tends to explode quickly and settle just as quickly. Her must do things now gets her a bad wrap for being impatient but that is untrue. She prefers to look at both sith and Jedi ways of doing things. Balanced yet unbalanced. Emotional yet calm. Peaceful yet always in battle. Not perfect ever yet always working.

Good looking character so far, I can probably give you more tips when I'm off mobile (mobile + most code = can't see half of the profile). From what I can read at this point, it seems she is supposed to be a grey Jedi, correct? That's pretty cool. What do you mean? By my interpretation of this, you're saying that there's a minimum requirement of posts before you can RP. You can RP whenever your character is posted (if an indie, like this one).

If you meant something else, could to please tell me what so I don't feel like an idiot :P

Now that I can see the whole profile, I can offer some suggestions. You should probably expand on Tayla's backstory more. For example, how did she know at such a young age that the powers she had was her Force sensitivity manifesting itself? If her parents were such successful merchants, then they were probably wealthy, and if they were wealthy, why were they living on Tatooine, and away from civilization no less? At the age of 8, how did she get to the Jedi, did her parents bring her or did a Jedi find her? What draws her to embrace the teachings of both the Jedi and Sith?

Also, just some other pieces of information. Given that when she was taken to the Jedi the Republic was losing to the Sith, and in only three years Corucsant would captured, it is more likely she would have been trained on another Jedi world, probably Onderon or Lothal. Additionally, does she use the Dark Side of the Force at all, or does she just like some of the Sith teachings? Because once you start to use the Dark Side, it corrupts you and draws you into its embrace. It is simply impossible to use both sides of the Force (unless your name is Revan). Good examples of canon grey Jedi would be Qui-Gon Jinn and Ahsoka Tano as she is in Star Wars Rebels. Like I mentioned earlier, I would consider an on-site example to be my Jedi, Jalen, or even my Mandalorian, Ji'Kel Vizsla. One does not have to embrace the Dark Side or its teachings to be considered "Grey"; at least I see it as a Light Sider outside of the Jedi Order, or who frequently disagrees with them and follows their heart or the will of the Force as they interpret it.

I hope these tips help you to make this character better and fit better with the on-site rules and lore. Making a character is tough, so please don't feel to overwhelmed by my critiques and suggestions. Trust me, I have lots of experience with tough characters... 2 pages worth of criticisms and suggestions for some of them.
