BIOGRAPHY

Born shortly after the opening assault that lead to the protracted battle of Tython, Tarlo was ushered into a galaxy engulfed in darkness. The Geld family had been heavily entrenched in Khil and Republic political affairs for generations, some members even claiming that a Gleb had been one of the original drafters of the Republic's constitution. Regardless of the accuracy of this claim politics and bureaucracy were core to the family identity, and the Khil drive for excellence meant that Tarlo's parents started grooming him early on. This was cut short when a routine test for force sensitivity sponsored by the Belnar government found that the 5 year old Tarlo was sensitive enough to be trained in the ways of the Jedi. With the Family's blessing the child was sent to train at one of the temples.

After the initial studies, as his training group moved into subjects such as channeling the force and deciphering its whispers it became clear that Tarlo was not quite as gifted as many of the others in his class. As time went on he realized he did not posses the same raw power as the others, but that did not mean he was useless. The natural Khil drive to excel and prefect pushed him to the library late into the nights, studying many writings and techniques, anything that would give him an edge. And so it was that whens questions were posed Tarlo found answers that no one else did, and during combat drills he would off-balance and maneuver his opponent to where it was easiest to defeat them. And when it came time to truly study lightsaber forms he became intermittently familiar with forms 2 -Makashi- and 6 -Niman-, preferring their flexibility and control of their opponent.

Upon his Knighting Tarlo was sent to serve in the defense of Castell, where he proved to be a good in a front line support role, and could even hold his own in one-on-one dueling, but the battlefield was a very alien and chaotic experience for him. After surviving by the skin of his teeth he gained the notice of Master Koovar, who took the young knight under his wing, teaching him many "cheap tricks" and "Uncivilized" tactics, anything to get and keep the advantage. The two of them stuck together for quite some time, pushing the Exiles farther and farther back from the core. Eventually they came to the consensus that unless a new weapon, ally or strategy appeared it was only going to be a war of attrition, potentially lasting several more generations.

It just so happened that the Exiles beat them to the next big turn of events. Just as it seemed that they were going to be held at bay the exiles launched their attack on Illum, unleashing their ritual that claimed the lives in unprecedented numbers, including that of Master Koovar. Tarlo had been to the galactic far north, pursuing a small exile warband out of republic space when the events of Illum occurred. Since the Tarlo has sworn that the Exiles will never agin surprise the order, that the next time will be the Jedi's ultimate triumph.

APPEARANCE

At 188 centimeters Knight Geld stands fairly tall for most humanoids, carrying a solid if somewhat more lithe frame with long arms and legs, an delicate fingers. Dark black eyes peer from deep sockets above several tentacle like hullepi that serve the Khil as both nose and mouth. Hairless gray-green skin covers him and stretches over his bony hands, it is fairly taught as if what muscle he does poses is ready to burst through his skin. Tarlo often does away with the cloaks and simple nerf hide clothing that is customary to most jedi, favoring instead practical if elegant looking tunics, vests and trousers, though never prone to luxuries like shimmersilks.

Skills and Abilities

Though Tarlo had barely begun his more mundane studies by the time he was selected for Jedi training, the family did not wish to leave any avenue blocked, so they sent him off with a handful of data cards, detailing much about Repuclic political and bureaucratic culture. These combined with the massive amount of information available in the order's archives helped the young Jedi gain an understanding of maneuvering opponents and allies alike, both on and off the field of battle. And Tarlo soon pick up a hobby of verbally sparing with several members of the order.

Likewise, never knowing what knowledge may prove useful Tarlo delved into rudimentary anatomy lessons and even spent some time studying the healing arts. This became very useful for him during his long years on campaign against the Exiles, in which his minor medical knowledge prevented several wounds from proving fatal for his allies.

The only note I have is the listed skills are little high for a low-level Jedi Knight, please bump them down a bit. Otherwise, everything looks good.

@Kallus, please be aware that your armor is mostly useless to force users.

Skilled dropped a bit.

And the armor is really more for the use of an environment suit when he needs one than something he would routinely wear. Just figured it would be best to add it now than to have it magically appear later.

I think you misunderstood. Force users can't use armor tech functions.
