None at all, he never bothered to learn this, he is not only afraid of a lightsaber, also, he never had to use a sword or anything to defend himself, he always got out of any situation that required that, he doesn't know how, but he always escape from

He seems to be really easygoing, and nice to anyone that talks to him, and is always willing to help others, no matter who they are.
He has quite an easy time learning everything (book related and theory).
He is really good with the force, almost everything he learned he did it by himself, without even knowing it was the force.
WEAKNESSES:
His figthing skills are an embarrassment, and he is really frail.
He doesn't understand evil, in such a way that if a murderer knocked at his door, and showed up with a dead body, he would help the murderer with the body, and give him a free meal and bath out of goodness
Nothing but his clothes, that are almost all brownish robes.

PERSONALITY:
Tariss is (said bluntly) an idiot, but not in a bad way, he is actually pretty smart when it comes to "life", but he doesn't know when to shut up, or when not to make that joke about the killer duck, I mean, it was a funeral, just shut up...
He is really kind, he loves everyone that comes within a km from him, and likes to cheer everyone up, even when they are already cheered up, he is never offended, and doesn't catch any insult, he was called "Schutta" by a lovely blue lady, and all he did was smile and say to her, "Well you look lovely tonight too, thanks" and kept walking (He was walking right in the middle of a conversation that in retrospective seemed to be quite important).
When it comes to learning, he just can't hold himself, even if it is learning by himself or with a teacher, he loves it, once, he climbed a mountain twice, that was 6 km in less than 2 hours, because he forgot a book at the top, he didn't even mind it, when he reached the top and found the book again he just started reading the book all over again before climbing down that mountain.
BIOGRAPHY:
He was born in Tatooine, year 1007 ABY, His parents loved him, yet, they were really poor, they only had information, they had a Datapad with tons of information, they could've sell it, but his Father thought it best to give it to Tariss, he had to delete most of the information but he left everything he had researched about the jedi since 1000 ABY, this way Tariss would find his way, with the teachings of te Jedi he would turn out to be a great person, even if he didn't become one ,they had to leave Tariss alone, he grew up with a group of kids, parentless, that were led by the elder kids, the leader was 13 YO when they found him, but he never truly became a part of said group, they always stealed and bothered everyone, yet Tariss didn't understood why they would do that, he only stayed with them to survive, at the age of 5 he met Qattat a Cathar cub, she was one year younger than Tariss, but she was really aggressive, she protected him almost always, and they became best friends, she gave him a bracelet and later he had to paid for it, it was stolen and the owner wasn't pleased, even after that innocent bad encounter, Tariss saw that as a lovely present.
When Tariss reached 13, his friendship with Qattat became even stronger, they had each other and nothing else, he became the leader of the group of kids, not a strong leader, but quite a smart one, nobody respected him, he tried to keep everyone from stealing and making trouble, he didn't even asked for that rank, yet he was the older one, and thus it was his job to look after everybody, once, while Tariss and Qattat were out of the group, they walked around the desert of tatooine, talking to each other, when they did that, time just flowed in a different way, they just found a cave, a weird looking cave, Tariss felt its evil, yet Qattat had an urge to get in there, and she did, she got into that cave with Tariss, who still felt every hair of his body screaming “GET OUT”. They reached into the cave, into its darkest place, and what they found, or better said, what found them, was a Sith Lord, who didn't instantly killed them, just because, he felt the force in them, he wanted to teach them, Qattat and Tariss both knew better, Tariss, immediately said no, and as he did, the Sith Lord raised his hand and was about to strangle the life of Tariss, he even began to do it, but then, mortified, Qattat yelled, "I WANT TO LEARN THE WAYS OF THE SITH", that way Tariss was saved, he couldn't believe what he heard, but he was saved. The sith kicked him off his cave, but he was alive, after all he was alive, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be, at the cost of leaving Qattat, his best friend. And since that time he never heard of Qattat again, he is connected to her, he will always be, both know when the other is in danger, but they can't do a thing, they chose different paths.
After that encounter, Tariss knew he was force sensitive, he had a hard time "leaving" Qattat behind, but it was the only way, he checked every book he had, and learned everything about the force that he could, yet he never got real training, he hopes one day to become a Padawan of the Jedi Order, to help others, maybe even find Qattat again, and help her, what could she be now, three years later, what happened to her...
The Jedi Encounter, He didn’t knew where he was heading, he just knew that getting off Tatooine was the first step, even if it meant leaving truly Qattat behind, he thought about sneaking into a spaceship, but his guts told him not to. He ended up looking for someone who would take him, a Teen, to space, and it was hard, but Tariss had a way to connect with people, and persuade them, it wasn’t hard for him, but it didn’t felt right, finally he found a couple, one was a farmer and the other one was a merchant, they were married and it seemed like they could offer Tariss a ride, he got in, they talked, they even let Tariss eat some of their food, and Tariss felt really bad for not being able to pay them, when he got out, he didn’t even ask for which planet it was, he just felt it, he felt something running through him, ¿was it the force? It felt wonderful, it felt like his destiny was to get there, and he knew that there was something special with that planet.
He didn’t knew where to start, so he did what could’ve been done, he walked, and walked, it seemed like the longest hours of his life, he didn’t knew what he was searching for, so after a few hours he got tired, and found a quiet place to sleep, he didn’t have much, so he wasn’t scared at all from thieves, what he was scared of, was never finding a Jedi.
He slept, and when he slept he had this beautiful dream, words can’t even describe it, it felt like falling the highest mountain, and at the last second learning how to fly, he smelled the most beautiful aromas, and it didn’t felt much like a dream, it was different, and then all of the sudden, there it was, a Woman with beautiful Hazel eyes, Dark Brown hair, maybe even blackish, and beautiful porcelain skin, ¿what is this?. Then Tariss is lead to a weird place, he is like a viewer, he sees three people, one seems to be the lady from before, the other one seems to be an old dude who is laying at the ground, unconscious it seems, and someone that was in some heavy armor, Tariss couldn’t figure out his face, then he saw a LIGHTSABER, that means they are Jedi, at least one of them is a Jedi, then the girl, she took the lightsaber, and god… She killed the armored dude, Tariss disliked violence, so when he saw that, even if it didn’t happened, it pained him, as soon as the lightsaber ended its travel across the chest of the other guy he woke up, sweating and panting, There she was, she was walking right beside him, it was the girl from the dream, or the vision, he didn’t cared that much, he knew he had to talk to her, Tariss was scared because he didn’t know enough, he knew that she had lightsaber, but only because of the vision, she didn’t seemed much of a jedi actually, she could kill him while he was still talking, but that can’t be, the force brought him there, it was his destiny, that vision. Tariss Ran and caught that girl, that girl just was really beautiful, he knew that, he said, “I’m Tariss, Tariss Celaeno, and I want to learn the Jedi ways” the girl seemed puzzled, how did Tariss knew that she was a Jedi, and then she felt it, the force flowing through him, that could only mean that Tariss was force sensitive, but it didn’t explain a lot, she said “I’m Khelsea, and shut up because you are going to get me killed, listen come with me, we need to talk somewhere private” and they went to a back alley, it seemed to be the best place, a Cantina might’ve been too noisy, and people could’ve overhear, here, in the back alley, if they didn’t yell it should’ve been okay.
First of all, Tariss felt the need of telling her about his vision, maybe it was going to help her in a future event, preventing her from killing the armored guy, but then Khelsea said “I already did that, you saw the first time I had to kill someone, it can’t be changed. Doesn’t matter, that’s in the past, ¿Are you looking to become a Jedi? I can help with that, but before I need to tell you what’s going on” Khelsea debriefed Tariss about almost anything concerning the galaxy, the wars, even the economy, and Tariss listened, and learned, with all of this knowledge, Tariss, had finally understood so many things he knew that now he could finally achieve his dream, of becoming a Jedi, and it was all thanks to Khelsea, Tariss felt in debt with Khelsea, a debt for life…
