The Viper dipped through the Tarisian atmosphere with relative ease, Reyna already knowing exactly where she was going to go and the plan they were going to use to get there. Inside the cargo space of her ship were several 88-V Rangers that they would use to ambush the motorcade.

Landing her ship a little ways away from where they wanted to rendevouz with the Imperials, Reyna lowered the cargo ramp so that everyone could grab a speeder and follow her. Hopping on the nearest one, Reyna double checked her gear - she was carrying and wearing her usual assortment - and gripped the throttle.

"Time to party boys. Would probably be best to stay in formation behind me."

Jetting off, Reyna headed towards the main drag of road. They would hit the motorcade as fast and as hard as possible. Dawdling would only give the Imperials time to mobilize reinforcements, not something the small group of mandos could really afford. She could see the kicked up dust billowing in the distance, they were right on time. The tanks were nearly theirs.

Ripping the throttle as hard as she could, Reyna sped dead on towards the first vehicle in the motorcade. It was a simple escort vehicle travelling 15 meters or so in front of the haulers. She needed to stop the motorcade to make it easier to get to the tank haulers, and Reyna could only think of one way to do that. Lifting her ass off the bike, she waited until the last possible moment before jumping off and activating her jet pack.

The bike careened forward for a moment before it started to wobble, bouncing and crashing straight into the lead vehicle - causing it to grind to a halt. The vehicles behind it followed suit, and soon the entire thing was just a sitting duck. Hopefully her partners would be able to figure out the next move, Reyna herself flying through the air started peppering shots down onto the Imperial troops that were starting to exit their vehicles.

Diocletian really hated entering the atmosphere of most planets and this one was no exception. He always felt like his stomach was trying to claw its way out of his body through his throat. That vertigo feeling is never fun and especially when Reyna apparently thinks her ship is on rails. Her hairpin turns, and abrupt altitude changes were hell on an already upset stomach.

Dio was already in the cargo hold, having picked out an 88-V Ranger of his own before they landed. He knew they would land away from the main objective and wanted to be ready to set a perimeter as soon as the ramp lowered on the Viper. He checked his equipment one last time, ensuring that he had his usual loadout before they made landfall and he might be required to use it.

As Reyna appeared and started prepping her own bike, he idled down the ramp and set the perimeter with his eyes, scanning the immediate area for threats. Finding none he waited for the familiar roar of 88V’s coming down the ramp. When the convoy came down, he slid in at the back as tail end Charlie, watching the six of their makeshift convoy.

Tearing through the area, their group made their way to catch up with the convoy transporting their targets. Dio knew they were there for tanks, but he had no idea how to operate one or even drive on for that matter. The came within sight of the convoy, its dust cloud marking it was unmistakable just ahead of them.

Hearing Reyna’s bike roar as she leaned on the throttle, Dio turned his bike to angle down the right side of the convoy. He saw Reyna’s ranger head straight at the lead vehicle and then focused on the task at hand as it exploded, a direct hit. He saw Reyna rising on her jet-pack above the battle out of the corner of his eye as he started to target the imperial troops flooding out of the vehicles.

Taking aim with the Ranger’s medium blaster, he too jerked the throttle and roared down the right side of the convoy that was now standing still. He used the ranger’s medium blaster to fire at the imperials, occasionally hitting on or two but he was more interested in keeping their heads down so the rest of the team could get to the tanks.

Tanx was asleep as the ship entered the atmosphere, he had returned to his previous spot he was using before Reyna's briefing, he softly shook with the ship as an occasional piece of turbulence until the impact of the landing gear shook him from his slumber. Tanx yawned before opening his eyes, opening to the sight of his helmet facing towards him where he left it, he stared into the T-visor looking at his reflection. "Time to go to war" he mumbled to himself before grabbing it and slinging his carbine so it lay on top of his hip.

Entering the cargo bay, he grabbed a bike immediately, prepping it as quickly as he can for him to fly. Reyna wasn't exactly the sort of person for arousing speeches, so he wasn't surprised when she didn't say much. "Oya," is all he shouted in reply before putting on his helmet and following quickly behind on his speeder.

Catching up to and holding formation just to the right and behind of Reyna, he followed her to the main where they would intercept the motorcade. this was meant to be lighting strike, in and out before the imperials noticed, tanx new plans rarely survive contact with the enemy so they would likely have to make this up as they go. Seeing the kicked up dust from the motorcade, pulling down his antenna tipped rangefinder to enhance the image 4 times, he got a clearer picture of what they were dealing "That's them" he announced other comms snapping his antenna back upright.

Reyna, of course, led the charge crashing her bike into the forward vehicle, not how he would have done it but he can't lie it was effective at stopping the convoy in its tracks. Tanx took the right side of the convoy, parking up and taking cover behind his bike, he began taking out three Imperials as they scattered take cover from the Mandalorian Raiders.

Arturo followed the group down the ramp, engines whirring. The Rangers were fast, and the group put the ship in their rear-view, not letting up on the throttle until the convoy was in sight. Dust distorted the ground around and behind them, warping Arturo's vision. He made a slight adjustment, drifting to the left of the formation as the haulers and accompanying vehicles became more than just pinpricks on the horizon.

He gave the Ranger some welly, keeping pace just behind Reyna as the world shrank down to a smear in his peripherals. He held on for dear life as the bikes raced toward the rapidly growing form of the Imperial motorcade. The wind battered him as his palms, slick with cold sweat, danced across the handlebars, ramping up the speed once more. The lead vehicle expanded, becoming recognizable; he could see a couple of helmeted guards through the windscreen. He wondered what they must've been thinking; the sudden fear as they realized a fight was upon them, one they might not survive.

Then Reyna jumped...

He had already hurtled by her before he understood what she was doing. Her abandoned Ranger sped by him, and Arturo barely managed to swerve in time to avoid the sudden spark of collision. The trick worked- of course it did. The bike that had become the proverbial tip of the spear brought the motorcade to a sudden halt. The lead vehicle had crumpled, a fire bursting to life where it had collided with the Ranger.

He ignored the guards as they bailed out, searching for targets, their ears ringing and minds already racked up to overdrive. Arturo was focused on hitting the rearguard before they rallied. He raked the convoy as he went, hitting one of the hauler's drivers as he hopped down from his cab. Another report of blaster fire sent the guards at the back scuttling for cover behind their escort vehicle. Not that it did them much good.

One armored trooper fell, his back scorched black by the Ranger's blasters, and Arturo circled, keeping the remaining enemies pinned. Dio appeared in the corner of the tracker's eye, forcing Arturo to do a 180-degree turn, the shift in momentum nearly throwing him from the seat. His attention drifted to the hauler in the middle as he spun, it's driver already dead. He dug his heels in, ready to get this hijacking in full-swing.

”O Kad Ha'rangir, o'r a'den wava at talyc akaan, breatade bal biayida va, biay suya'ge subr doth gotal'ur dral ker teh etie ruusaar la'gata.

Iupa o'r geriuve at, bal gra'tuar dilkeyr, biay borarir ti ju katdape puse jibr!”

Leandros finished his prayers, donning his black-and-red armor and ensuring all of the systems in place were ready to be used if needed. He clipped his lightsaber to his belt and double-checked his ammunition. He was fully armed and ready for what was to come. Taking his place in the hangar with the others, he hopped on his own Ranger, revving it up and getting ready for the fun part. He looked over to his brothers, speaking up to ease their minds, ”Mhi jurkad ures abarya, buskayu'agr ra la'gatior. Rala aru'ela be Manda'yaim kar'taylir ibac mhi malyasa'yr kyr'amur anay kyr'yc solus be etid, bal rala etid la'gata o'r chaab.” He spoke as Reyna entered the cargo hold. The time for battle was nigh. ”Vod!” he shouted, revving the engine of his speeder, ”Akaan juha gar. Malyasa'yr gar nalku'na?”

With that, he followed Reyna’s lead, bursting forth from the cargo hold and into the open air of Taris. The world was a blur, and his muscles were tense with anticipation. His heart was beating fast, and beneath his helmet his face betrayed little emotion except for simple grim determination.

Reyna leaped from her bike, flying through the air with her jetpack. Dio and Tanx went right, while Arturo went left, circling around and raking the convoy with bolts from the speeder. Leandros followed Reyna’s lead, swerving off to the side of the convoy and bursting upward in a jet of flames from his jet pack. He soared over the lead truck, rifle aimed and firing pot shots to keep the Imperials in cover and not shooting back. One particular Imperial made a brave attempt at firing at him, but the bolt whizzed harmlessly by. Leandros fired a controlled pair at the man, hit him in the stomach and the leg, and knocked him off of the truck.

He flew over the second truck and landed on top of the cab, firing several bolts into the driver and his passenger, ensuring that the convoy was boxed in. His heart pounded with the thrill of battle, and he found himself in the one environment where he could truly revel and be happy – war.

It hadn't taken long for her fellow badgers to follow her lead and start assaulting the motorcade. From her vantage point high in the air, Reyna assumed that putting a couple bolts through the windshield of one of the haulers would have been an easy task to set it up for a badger to get inside and be ready to drive it off. *Unfortunately, her thoughts didn't exactly pan out the way she thought they would.

As she brought her rifle up to shoot, the driver of one of the haulers reacted first. With his own blaster pistol he fired off two bolts before Reyna could get proper aim. She managed to side step the bolts from hitting her directly... but didn't take into account the fact that they were going to hit her jetpack instead. The bolts slammed into the side of the jetpack, causing it to malfunction and send Reyna careening on a zig-zag, random course. She was unable to stabilize outside of aiming herself downwards towards the ground - towards the motorcade - and she slammed chest first into the side of one of the massive haulers.

The blow knocked the wind out of her and probably shattered a few of her ribs. Breathing was incredibly labored and painful for Reyna, but she wasn't completely out of the fight yet. For now, though, she rolled underneath one of the halted haulers and gripped her pistol. She needed a few minutes to catch her breath, and she hoped that the imperials would be too distracted with the other badgers to come looking for her right away.

"Down but not out," she said across their shared comms, the pain of her situation evident in her short, gasped breaths between words. "Kill these motherkriffers, they shot my Kad damned jetpack!"

Diocletian screamed past the motorcade, strafing the side of the convoy with the Ranger’s medium blaster. He was really just trying to keep their heads down until he reached the last vehicle, the rear guard. Hitting the down throttle, Dio ignited his jet pack and rose on a geyser of flame from his Ranger and into the sky. He turned in the air and raised his arm to sight down it towards the last vehicle. He kept his arm stiff and used his wrist and elbow to adjust his aim on target.

Sighting in on the last vehicle, he fired his wrist rocket at the front axle of the vehicle and scored a direct hit. The vehicle acted as if it had hit a small boulder and started to flip through the air, diagonally to the right of the convoy. Several guards that had been getting ready to disembark discovered that they could not fly and were tossed from the flipping vehicle into the air, eventually landing with a sickening thud.

“Back door is closed.” he said calmly into the shared comm channel before landing close to the vehicle he had just destroyed. He moved towards it quickly to ensure there were no survivors and finding none, set up a firing position behind the vehicle. He sighted in on the haulers and started to look for new targets, the massive vehicles starting to look like kicked over ant hills with the number of Imperials swarming all over them. Dio smiled and noted that the tanks were still undamaged and that the Imperials had not thought of using them against the raiders, yet.

Arturo hurtled towards his intended target, knowing in the back of his mind that this was going as well as any of them hoped. The startled blaster fire had petered out, replaced by the dull whirring of the Ranger's engines, and the thrum-thrum of the speeder bikes' twin-blasters. He pulled up beside the hauler practically unmolested, the surviving guards hunkering down behind the relative safety their vehicles offered. A stray bolt whistled by the tracker's head as he dismounted. It panged off the side of the hauler, burying itself in the dirt as Arturo dropped, rifle in his hands.

Driver, eleven o'clock. Arturo could see him hiding beneath the hauler -Reyna must've been beneath another, probably the rearward vehicle- behind one slumbering thruster arch. He reckoned it was the driver from the lead hauler, no more armored than his dead counterpart, who lay a meter or so to the tracker's left, unmoving. He zeroed in on the driver's chest as he leaned out, another panicked shot pocking the ground near Arturo's head. He didn't miss. Two shots center mass left the driver face-first in the dirt, pistol dropped from nerveless fingers, and Arturo was already on his feet, climbing up to the cab of the hauler. A couple more double-taps ushered a guard from this plain as he rounded the distant hauler. That's two.

Arturo slung his rifle, and opened the door carefully, a Shrill clutched tightly in his off-hand. Empty, good! Climbing into the driver's seat, he slammed the door shut as he buckled up, the armored cab protecting him as the surviving guards up front worked up enough courage to crawl from their hidey-holes. The pitter-patter of blaster fire left his ears ringing as he became the focus of their attention. He sank lower in the seat as he set the engines a-rumbling, already steering the truck out of column, voices blaring over the console's radio frequency. It sounded Imperial, and a moment's attention cleared things up. "The call went out!" He shouted over comms, flooring it as the sound of blaster fire reached its apex.

"Reinforcements are inbound. We might wanna make tracks before they get here," he advised, sneaking a look at his wing-mirror before it was shot off.

Leandros remained on top of the cab, occupying the attention of the nearby Imperials. One, two, three bolts streaked forth from his carbine, each one finding and ending the life of its target. The Imperials fell with smoking holes pierced through their bodies, their hasty defense at an end. He swung down off of the roof of the hauler’s cab and grabbed the body of the driver, pulling his corpse out with a grunt of exertion. The corpse tumbled and landed awkwardly, its limbs facing different directions now that he had no control over them. Leandros climbed inside and reached across the passenger’s corpse to open his door. He shoved the body out and it followed the same path as the driver, tossing and tumbling as it hit the ground.

Leandros took control of the vehicle right as Reyna went sailing right into the side of the truck. The force of her impact shook the cab slightly and Leandros poked his head out to investigate, only to find Reyna sprawled out on the ground groaning from the impact. The woman rolled underneath the hauler and out of sight, pistol in hand. With a grunt, Leandros swung feet first out of the cab and landed on the ground in a low crouch, rifle raised and ready to defend himself.

”Reyna!” he called out, approaching the side of the truck where she rolled under, ”Come on, we need to get moving.” He extended his free hand towards the woman, his trigger hand still holding the carbine upright as he reached to help his clan mate out from under the hauler and to help her into the cab. Whether she came with him or not, he would settle into the driver’s seat and watch Arturo begin to drive off with the hauler in front of his. Once he was certain Reyna was out of danger, he put the truck in gear. The sudden movement of the vehicle unbalanced the Imperials still on top of it, sending them stumbling off and into the road.

Leandros floored the vehicle, wanting to be out of the area once reinforcements showed up.

*Tanx's aim was true, he took out the three imperials swiftly before they managed to reach the cover they were running for.

With that done he saw comrades had taken control of the hauliers. he slung his rifle, faced the rear of the first haulier took a small run activating his jump boots. * he launched through the air to his target, as he grew closer to the vehicle he realised that he was higher in the air than he should be, realising he was going hit the side of the tank striped to back of the haulier, with no way to alter his course tanx braced for the impact.

Tanx smashed into the side of the tank with an audible clang as Beskar'gam made contact with the tank and bounced off the side on to the edge of haulier on his back. it hurt even through armour, he would have some serious bruising in the next few hours. "On haulier one" he groaned through the comm with gritted teeth. slightly winded from the impact.
