“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him."

That right there is a a quote so true, that I can't even explain the depth of how right it is. For us Rangers knowing what's home and what we're fighting to protect keeps our heads on straight and any threats in the dirt. I've been in the Kushari military a long time my friend.

It all started when I waltzed my way into a military recruiting office nearly eleven years ago, looking to sign up for the Marines. I'd done martial arts my whole life so I figured that, in combination with my rather large build, would get me through the whole process pretty easy. Evidently, after an interview they thought I was golden material for the best in the business, the Rangers.

Eight months of my life went to just basic ranger school alone. Learning the basics of teamwork and individual tactics, resistance to interrogation in the event that we're captured, how to operate some vehicles, qualifying on all weapons, and finally leadership training. I made it out of basic with high praise and remarks and thought I was the biggest badass alive.

Right up untill I got to advanced that was.

Now, an important thing you need to know is that Ranger school as a whole has a 95% dropout rate and 4% casualty rate. They're not exactly screwing around with this whole thing and most of that comes from the second, advanced portion. Heavy training every single day on physical fitness, more combat training, demo skills, martial arts, more vehicle operational skills, and espionage too! It's real fun filled time. If you make it out alive though, you join one hell of a military community. No group of guys and gals is tighter or more skilled than us.

You'll rarely hear me brag about missions but their is one in particular I'll always be damn proud of. A bunch of Marines had gotten captured by some oh-so-evil pirates and so we were dispatched to free 'em up. By this point I'd made it to Lieutenant so I was in charge of the doorkicker team. It was a big deal in the media so this had to go flawlessly. Thankfully, all those hours I spent training with the M35 specifically had paid off. The door blew open after the explosive went off and I was first man in. I dropped the first hostile I saw, later learning that he was holding a shotgun to the last survivor's head and ready to blast away, the double-tap on his center mass dropping him immediatly. My team followed through and cleared the rest of the nearby rooms before regular army guys rolled up and cleaned out the rest of the place. That survivor to this day is one of my best friends actually, and considering they're not the most sociable of people I think it's mutual.

Oh, and my brother runs DSEG, but that's no big deal really.
