Dexterity
Very quick and agile. Not a marksman or a sniper, but a very good shot with the weapons which is familiar to him.
Constitution
Healthy. Not a model for "Health Care" program, but keeps himself in shape. But he does smoke sometimes. Nothing illegal, mind you.
Intelligence
Intelligent above average, a good slicer (hacker) when it comes to it, very good pilot.
Wisdom
Knows his way around the galaxy,
Charisma
He is known to some people as a very charismatic person, especially when it comes to females. More then a few times it got him into trouble with female's partners. That got him a reputation of trouble seeker. But mostly it’s all façade, which helps the business. Inside he is grim, hollow and miserable.

His greatest strengths are his piloting skills. He is known to fly almost any type of a ship which needs no more then one person for a crew. That includes fighters, bombers, interceptors, freighters etc. Can't fly the cruiser of course. His next best trait - he's very good with his pistols, can shoot a head off a duck from 50 m.

A pair of t-6 heavy blaster pistols

"The Runner"

Model: Correlian YT-2100 prototype
Length: 30 meters
Width: 22 m
Height: 9.3 m
Hyperdrive: class 1.0, backup class 12
Armament: dual laser cannon turrets (2, on top and bottom of the ship), 2 laser cannons in front of the ship
Hull: reinforced durasteel
Shield: equipped
Minimum crew: 1
Passangers: 2 passenger cabins designed for 2 persons each.

Build on the base of old YT-2000 design by CEC (Correllian Engineering Corporation). Only a handful of prototypes were created for field testing. It wasn't a much more advanced then the base model. The CEC managed to equip it with faster hyperdrive systems and arm it with two more laser cannons, which could be fired from the cockpit controls. The cargo hold was slightly reduced in size and hull was additionally reinforced. That costed the capability of the ship to carry more goods, but with faster engines, more durable hull, it was viewed as a fast courier ship rather then a freighter.
Droids
R6-T4, a standard astromech droid, in charge of maintenance of the ship. All the tools and abilities of astrodroids are in place.
Pets
None
Personality
A small mistake and his own momentary greed had cost him his father’s life. He’s determined to do some good to the galaxy to somehow repay his wrong or help some people no-one wants to help. But each time he helps someone, be that an orphan who needs to get to his distant relatives on another world, but unable to pay, or a family, who lost their home because of the war, or a woman, hunted by the Imperium for insulting the officer. He tries to help, but no gratitude or payment can ever fill the void in his heart.
On the outside he’s rather attractive looking guy, who uses his attractiveness pretty often. He smiles, winks, jokes and behaves like a funny man. But anyone capable of Force empathy can detect that his face never matches his feelings.
Biography
Tal was born in a family of a merchant. Mother died at birth. His father was doing a small business in mechanical and high-tech goods, flying around the galaxy, purchasing and selling machines and parts for them to local businesses on various planets. Mostly he made his trade delivering goods to the planets of the Outer rim territories from the factories and companies, located on the Mid rim worlds. He was determined on making a strictly legal business. And he trained his son in his trade. But Tal was something of a rebel, he always thought that this going there and back again didn’t pay out enough money, so he constantly was urging his father to take a look into business offers the Hutts laid out. But his father always refused. Tal was disappointed.
One day the opportunity to make some more money presented itself. Tal was in the bar, waiting for his dad to return from some company administrative building, when he was approached by a suspicious looking Bith. The alien carefully asked if Tal was the son of “old Jare”, to what Tal nodded in acknowledgement. The Bith clapped his hands in happiness, mumbling something about luck and working pay off. Then he proposed to Tal a small deal. Somehow the Bith knew, that their destination on the nearest run would be Dantooine, so he wanted to ask if Tal could do him a favor and deliver a small package there. His efforts would be compensated of course, with no less than 200 credits! Tal gladly agreed, but asked what kind of package it was and was it anything illegal. The Bith said that the contents was nothing dangerous, it’s just that local government on Dantooine banned the product for importing to support the local producers. Tal nodded and agreed to the deal.
The Bith delivered a “package”, which turned out to be a 1x1 meter metal crate, to the ship and Tal managed to hide it in the back of the machine room. Father rarely went there, only if there was a problem with something and as far as Tal knew everything was alright.
They took off and headed to Dantooine. Tal was boasting to tell his father, but decided against it. He wanted to surprise him with additional income when the deal was closed. But it wasn’t meant to be.
In the spaceport they were approached by a trio of men, who demanded Tal’s father to hand over the goods. Naturally, he refused because he was designated to deliver them to local mining company. Tal guessed, that the gangsters didn’t mean the machinery, they were delivering to the miners, but the crate the Bith gave him. So he urged his father to step aside. He explained him his little deal with the Bith. Father was furious and threatened to call the security. He never wanted anything to do with illegal smuggling, and he told the gangsters exactly that. And it was the last thing he said. A blaster bolt shot off, making a smoking hole in Tal’s father’s forehead. The gangsters rushed into the ship, searching for the crate while Tal screamed and held his father’s head. The gagsters fled the spaceport just a minute before the security arrived at the scene. Tal tried to explain what happened. The security officer believed him, saying that smuggling illegal goods has rather increased recently and that gangsters on Dantooine have become more bold. Tal’s testimony was recorded and an arrest warrant for suspected killers was issued. But Tal himself was charged with attempt at smuggling illegal goods. He was convicted and spent the next year in Dantooine prison. When they let him out he was a grim looking guy, not the smart mouthed kid who knew nothing in life but joy. His property was returned to him, namely his father’s ship and the rest of their possessions.
So Tal went on with his life. He became a rather skilled smuggler as well as merchant. But he never smuggled anything that can harm innocent lives and he never took jobs from gangsters. Mostly he smuggled kids and refugees from blockaded or destroyed worlds, smuggled in food or medicine around the local trade companies who asked too big a price for their goods. He tried to do good.
