TELOS
1100 Hours

With the Sith now battling for Telos (in the background), the Telosian cabinet would be escorted to a highly secure bunker for safety. A Sith/Imperial wet team will breach through the bunker, fight through their guards & defenses and then force the Telosian leaders at lightsaber/gun point to surrender and avoid any bloodshed

Telos was one of many worlds that had left the Empire following Varyn Rask's ascension to the throne. Zvonimir Augustus will lead the effort to take the strategically important planet back Sith control as the new leaders of Telos will not be swayed diplomatically into rejoining the Empire. Force will be the only way to get them to understand. To that end, the Empire will launch an attack on Telos' capital city Thani. With resources pulled away from the war, a huge invasion fleet can't launched but sabotaging their assets beforehand will make the takeover easier and then a wetwork attack at their leadership to force them into submission.

The Confessor was ready to get back into battle. Recent events that spewed unwanted drama in her life left the blind Sith with doubts and hatred she seriously needed to work through. And there was no better way to clear one's mind than on the battle field. Agreeing to assist with the strike force against Telos, The Confessor commissioned her Contemptuous-class dungeon ship -The Gallows- to hover in orbit during the assault. While the prisoner transport ship didn't have much in the way of weapons, it could still provide a hefty defense as well as be right there to bring any criminals against the Empire straight to prison. As well as a few lost souls into The Confessor's personal laboratory.

Dressed for combat, the blind Sith would head out to the hanger of her dungeon ship where she and the other Sith were going to start their mission. The Confessor was wearing her usual Sith marauder armor tailored to just her needs with her two/three favorite weapons on her belt: one nasty biting Zygerrian electro whip and her identical twin curved lightsaber hilts. The only thing different about her today was that she'd taken to wearing her faceless helmet which she very rarely used in combat; she hated the way her senses were dulled inside the metal hood. She had her reasons for doing so, one that only her Arch-Priest knew of back on Ilum.

There was one other surprise for the boys today as docked inside the hangar would be The Confessor's brand new TX223-641 maelstrom yacht which would serve as their ride down to the surface. While not a military vehicle, it would get them to the city with ease and provide for them a rather luxurious ride on their travel. It was The Confessor's gift to herself for she needed a pick-me-up after that scandal back on Coruscant.

"Is everything ready?" The Confessor would ask as she approached the other two men waiting for her.

Since Serenno Mid had been waiting for a mission like this. It was rather fun, blowing a door down, rushing in, destroying an entire garrison from inside out then getting back on a ship and blasting off. Easy, quick, fun.

What Mid had not expected was to hear that lady Eriana would be accompanying him and that annoying little overseer Robert. He didn't expect her to be ready for battle this early but he figured that it would be the best place for her to clear her head. After all, "one of the most peaceful places in the galaxy is right in the middle of a battlefield". It was an old quote taught to him long ago. He had forgotten the whole story behind it but to him it remained true. It was one of the only places where one's head was at its clearest and everything made sense.

He was fully geared as always. His polearm on his back, his crossguard on his hip. Both pistols fully loaded along with his Lanvarok and his knife was on his back. For this mission he also clipped 2 frag grenades on his person just in case he needed them like last time. His heavy armour was suited up and his helmet was under his left arm.

He stood in the docking bay of the Confessor's dungeon ship. He hated the vessel. It was cruel and evil, even for sith standards. But the results from her experiments were unquestionable so he decided to let it be. As long as he didn't end up in one of her cells he was fine with it. He stood in front of the luxurious yacht, his brow in a frown and his mouth slightly open. When did she get this? It was clearly not church property otherwise he would have known. Did she get this for herself? Either way, it was a stunning ship and if the pictures were anything to go by the interior was even better than the exterior. Mid was looking forward to flying in this baby.

He felt her presence and turned to look at her before she even spoke. She was geared for battle, though for a mission like this he always preferred heavy armour. But he knew that she wasn't as overt as him. She was the sneaky one in their strange partnership. "Everything's ready, my lady. Just waiting on you." he spoke casually as he gave her a nod. He looked over to overseer Abbotangelo. "You ready, Robert?" he asked the man in a tone somewhere between annoyance and professionalism. He and the overseer didn't exactly see eye to eye but he actually secretly enjoyed the old man's company. The fact that their age gap is actually pretty low tended to disturb the Pureblood somewhat.

He awaited for Eriana to board her sparkling new ship before following close behind and making himself comfortable in the recreation area. He was somewhat afraid to take a seat on the fancy couches and made sure to sit down as carefully and still as he could to not tear the leather with his armour. He looked back at Eriana with a smirk. "How are you feeling my lady? Ready for some fun?" he spoke cheerfully, a sadistic grin forming slightly on his face. It was clear that he was excited for this mission.

Bob was beginning to feel like a new man. Well, a younger man anyway. After his recent defeat at Corellia, he had done some soul searching, real deep thinking complete with the hunched over pose and the chin on his fist. He had thought long and hard about what went wrong, and how he could possibly make up for the deficiencies he had come across. Ultimately, it had all boiled down to one fact.

He was fat.

Normally this wouldn't have bothered him, in fact he quite enjoyed being fat. But considering his career had finally opened up to advancement after so many years of people shunning him and looking down on him as a former slave, he couldn't just give up and retire now. He had dreamt about it once upon a time, but now all his supposedly unrealistic ambitions were within his grasp. So, with these thoughts in mind, Bobby A had set to work on his solution. Exercise. Yep, that's right, for the first time twenty years Big Bob had started losing weight. With hard work and dedication, he was down ten pounds already! Truly the wonders of spite.

Pulling his thoughts off his unnoticeably smaller belly, he turned to realize that Mid was talking to him! "Mid my Boy, I am as they say, born ready! Ready is my middle name! I am so ready, that even the most ready could never be prepared for me! Hah!" Bob boisterously stated, a beacon of unjustifiable happiness considering their present location on a tortuously darkside ship as well as their intended mission. It was as if his mood could never be damped, and it couldn't in fact! No, he was just happy it had been a little easier to squeeze into his armor. He was fully geared, waddling around with his PIPE and his repeater as well as his other accoutrements.

"Course my lady! Ready to get this show on the proverbial road whenever you are." Bob said, turning to the Sith Lord with a sloppy salute and an infectiously happy smile. Bob wasn't blind to the negative powers of the darkside, at least, the negative powers that directly affected him. And the general aura of sad that radiated from any of the upper echelon Sith made him just want to givem' the biggest hug. But he couldn't, not yet anyways. He didn't wanna get stabbed.

"Well I am here, let us get on with then." She didn't mean to snap at either of them, she was just a little colder than usual. No more beating around the bush. They were here on a mission.

The group would start to enter into the yacht when Mid would ask her how she was feeling. Probably to get his mind off that quip she'd fired. She knew he was worried about her, since he was the one who had to literally knock her out to seek help. She would sigh once before replying, "I am no longer in pain. If that's what you're asking. The rest will come back in time."

Seating herself down in one of the chairs, she found the buckles to strap herself in. While these were not customary, especially not for a luxury ride, The Confessor had specifically ordered them to be installed. The blind Sith hated flying. And that was even before she got shot down that one time on a mission. It didn't help her anxiety at all and now she was even more worried about the journey. At least here, on this larger ship, her mind wouldn't focus too much on the external threats waiting for them outside the hull.

With them seated, a strike team would follow in behind them. With part of The Confessor's recent mission rewards she received from the Empire, the blind Sith was given a host of two hundred and fifty troops to use in battle. Now all two hundred and fifty of them couldn't fit even packed in tightly on this ship. So she went with a simple two dozen. As the group of battle ready Fox troopers filed in, they saluted their mistress and moved onto the lower floors where they would check over their gear before disembarking. The Confessor enjoyed having her Fox troopers with her. They were loyal. And very brave.

Now that everyone was on board, The Winter's Breeze would depart on it's first flying mission. They headed out of The Gallows and made for Tahni down on Telos. The capital city would no doubt have defenses, but with everyone so caught up in the war the yacht would be able to slip by without much attention. Besides, who'd be worried about a yacht flying in when the sky was under attack from crusader ships and corvettes? No one would pay any mind to a single luxury spaceship trying to find safety.

The Winter's Breeze moved with ease through the air and even more still when they got into the city limits. The cruiser was a smooth ride and as expected, not a single patrol or ship looked their way. Once passed the tall buildings around them, it was easy to glide into the ports and land on a less occupied dock. Ships were leaving hurriedly to help with the effort up in space, so again, no one seemed to pay any attention to the Sith yacht lazily docking right under their noses.

The Confessor would take off her safety belt as the landing gear kicked on. She didn't feel the need to wear it when they were only a dozen or so meters above the ground. She could jump that. The ship would come to land then as the Sith made their way to the landing ramp and disembark the vessel with her Fox troopers setting a perimeter to watch out for their Priestess. The Confessor would not take the lead on this mission, not until they were ready to breach. Her eyesight would be perfect for the task at hand, but until they got to the safe house she felt it best to follow after the others who could see things further than she could.

Mid's smile faded a bit at Eriana's reply. She said she was no longer in pain but he wasn't so sure. With the state she was still in he still worried about her. But she was here and if she felt up to the task she had to be much better.

The Confessor's Fox Troopers moved past to a different part of the ship. Mid was smiling all the way. The idea of all these heavily armoured warriors being transported in a luxury yacht was indeed quite amusing. Eriana strapped herself in, but Mid hardly paid attention. He half expected her to make such a modification. He knew how much she hated flying and he couldn't blame her. Having your vision confined to such a cramped space, she might as well just be completely blind. That helmet is definitely not helping the situation.

They left her dungeon ship behind and glided comfortably into the atmosphere. Theoretically they should be safe from ground fire, given that they were in a civilian ship. They touched down and the Fox Troopers all moved towards the ramp. They were the first ones out and they quickly set up a perimeter as the 2 sith and overseer disembarked. The Confessor gave the lead to Mid and he nodded at her. "As you wish." he said calmly.

He marched forth, drawing his polearm in his left hand and igniting both blades. A few guards approached, holding their hands out to have him stop, but Mid hurled the polearm at them, taking both their heads off before they could react and recalled the weapon before extinguishing it. The platoon closed in on the back entrance of the bunker while the war waged above them. A few troops were stationed outside but the Fox Troopers sneakily closed in and took them out, allowing Mid, Eriana and Bob to push up.

At the door Mid stabbed his lightsabre into the durasteel door and slowly cut a neat circle into the door. When it was done he force-pushed it in and the Fox Troopers breached, laying down fire while the 3 imperials pushed up. This was going to be fun.

Bob would have brought his own troopers if he knew this was that kind of party! They were always raring for their next mission and could use the workout. Oh well, it was something to keep in mind for the next mission. He Intentionally didn't notice the general snappiness of the Confessor, both not caring to acknowledge it and simply attributing it to the delicate intricacies of being a Sith. With all their hatred preaching and general inclination to be just as a whole, upsetting people, it was easy to ignore their more unwelcome tendencies.

Seeing as the two Sith were having whatever their anger filled religion passed for as a tender moment, Bob instead directed his attention to the troopers. He always felt more kinship with the regular rank and file mook than he did with the space wizards that ruled his nation. He lumbered around on the lower floors of the yacht, happily passing around a few flasks he always kept tucked away for just the right occasion. These men and women might be dying on this mission, so he figured that it counted as one of those occasions. He swapped some stories with them for several minutes, though he knew he shouldn't spend to much time distracting them, and so made his way back up to where the two Sith were quietly being angry alone, but together.

"I think this is going to go great!" Bob hollered as he swaggered his mildly slimmer mass up the steps, doing his best to startle the two powerful beings outside of what he assumed was their brooding. He strode up to the main viewscreen as they approached the landing zone, "Ah! Once more into the breach as they say!" A wide smile splitting his face as he held his helmet off his head with one hand. He looked to both Sith and winked with as much grandfatherly affection as he could muster before placing the brain bucket on his head and pulling his repeater off of his shoulder.

He followed the Sith off of the yacht, standing behind them in order to use them as a shield. Not because he wanted them to get shot or valued his life over theirs, he just knew how these weird lightsword monks worked. Deflecting what should be lethal blaster shots was kind of their calling card.

Once Mid had cut the hole in the wall, and three Fox troopers had streamed into the opening, Bob was the first to follow them in. He calmly took cover and began spraying the area with laser fire, the fast and rythmic fire of his rifle killing three unprepared guards as they scrambled for cover. He gestured for the rest of the gang to move up, knowing he could cover them with little effort from his position.

And so they proceeded. The vault by their estimations was literally underneath them which was the luckiest break they'd caught all day. They'd still have to go around and through the capital building to get there, but the fact they practically parked right up to the place was a blessing in disguise. And a rather foolish mistake on the part of the locals. Naturally they would take their leaders somewhere safe, but how safe could they really be in a panic room of sorts? Not against the Empire.

Before heading down to the system their ships in orbit had scanned the city and confirmed the cabinet had in fact not been escorted off planet. They trusted in the fact they could hide out and be safe. But the Sith were no fools. And they would soon learn that. The guards outside quickly realized this civilian vehicle that had just docked was not at all some council member or elected official from Telos. They drew their weapons and began to draw their weapons toward the Sith hoping to stop them before they got close. Mid handled them with lightning speed, throwing his double saber in whirlwind of death.

Splitting up, The Confessor's troops moved out and secured the bunker's outside walls by taking out whatever guards remained outside. All the while, the blind Sith casually walked behind Mid toward the doors. This was the power she held. Not in her own grasp, but the authority over her faction. Her Fox troopers would fight for her till the death. If she so chose, she wouldn't even have to lift a finger this whole mission. But that would just be rude, and not to mention boring.

Approaching the door The Confessor would then lean in close and take off one of the gloves from her hand. Both of her partners would see she still had bandages around her fingers. She placed her palm to the wall and released a certain Force beacon, pushing her focus through the walls and to everything inside. Her vision painted a perfect picture of what was on the other end. Pointing to the spots on the other side, she would tap the wall twice to mark their locations, doing the same for each one.

It was now time for Mid to do his work. She backed up as he drew his saber and cut away a circle in the doorway. The Fox troops would rush in past him firing as they went. Three of them tried to fight against the breaching team but these were Sith troops they were fighting. Men ready to stand and fight for their empire. No independent police force would be able to stand against their might. And that wasn't even considering the fact that these men had Force users behind them to back them up.

Oddly enough, it was Robert who came and brought them down with the distraction. The Confessor did not expect their comrade to rush in so bold. But perhaps he liked putting up a fight too. The blind Sith knew Mid wouldn't just stand around either. No way would he let someone take more lives than him....

Clasping her hands behind her back, The Confessor would say to the others, "Let's go see who's home."

Mid was rather surprised as Bob charged past him and mowed down their starting opposition. The man was going on as if he were 30 years younger. Mid couldn't help but smile slightly at the old man's bravery. But there was no way he would walk away with the most kills.

Mid gave the Confessor a quick look out of the corner of his eye, smirking at her comment. He stepped through the hole and held his polearm in front of him with both hands. A squad of 5 troops came running down the hall, firing at the group of imperials. They needed to work on their accuracy. Mid spun the weapon and deflected their clumsy rounds, stopping only long enough for the Fox Troopers to fire at them and put them down. Imperial troopers were tough, good soldiers. These Fox Troopers were no exception. The enemy troops fell to the floor, though one was somehow alive. Mid walked over to the dying soldier and pulled him up, resting him against a wall with his right hand over his chest to support him. "Soldier, where are your leaders being held?" he asked the man, but the trooper remained loyal. He spat blood against Mid's faceplate, making the Pureblood's head twitch slightly.

"Very well." Mid said flatly and 3 discs left his wrist, cleaving the soldier's head off and embedding into the wall behind him. Mid let the soldier fall over and wiped his visor clean, the rest of his helmet he still left as is. He led the squad deeper into the bunker, making sure Bob was right behind him with his repeater and Eriana was there to keep an eye out for any surprises. They reached a door that was sealed shut and Mid knew there was a surprise behind that door waiting for them. To their right, however, was a door that led to a sleeping quarters that most likely connected to the room behind the double doors. "Lady Confessor, if you would be so kind as to scope out what's waiting for us. Me and overseer Abbotangelo will breach from the room next to us and take them by surprise. he spoke just loud enough for the two of them to hear, just in case the enemies behind the door was listening in.

Mid motioned for Bob to follow and walked around to the wall connecting the quarters and the other room. He tuned in to his commlink, connecting him, Bob, Eriana and all the troopers in on one channel. "On your mark, lady Confessor, Just paint the targets then we breach from both sides."

Adrenaline was an amazing thing. Bob never stopped feeling that rush of adrenaline whenever he was launched into battle, and that always made it easier for him to perform as if he wasn't a lumbering old person. He waited patiently for the rest of the gang to pile into the area, and once he was confident he could stop his overwatch, he pulled his repeater back and calmly reloaded it while in cover.

The Sith swaggered into the area, and Bob was genuinely surprised that they hadn't beaten him inside. He figured this would be exactly the kind of thing they would be suited for. Being the vanguard of an assault that is, distracting the enemy form the troopers who didn't have the laser swords that reflected blaster bolts seemed to be the best role they could fill. But, who was he to judge, just the old overseer who had seen more Sith rise and fall than most soldiers living today.

He caught his breath, because even despite his endless energy and vigour, he was still an old man of copious weight. Before heaving himself up to join the rest of the gang in breaching the next room. He was a little disappointed to see Mid executing a prisoner however, and despite the hidden but noticeable unhappy glare he sent to the pureblood, he did understand that they couldn't afford to take prisoners.

He was content to follow orders for the moment, having seen no reason to countermand Mid with another plan. He was prepared to use the tried and true method of Imperial breaching. The trooper boots the door open and takes cover to begin shooting, the Sith runs in and takes the attention off the trooper.

Together, the two Sith would follow through the hole after Robert and join in the fight. Well, The Confessor was at least following. With her senses she felt the five men running toward them and she put a hand on Mid's shoulder and pointed his frame toward the hallway before they'd even got their fingers to their triggers. Behind him, she was like a shadow merely moving with his body to avoid the back end of the saber while he used it to block the poorly aimed shots; all, while keeping her hand on his shoulder to let the towering giant know she was still there. She didn't need him doing some fancy twirl behind his back and cutting her size down by half.

As four of the five fell to their deaths, another was left alive. The Confessor released her hand on the other Sith so he could walk and finish the man's fate. She moved further into the chaos with her hands clasped once more behind her back. She listened to the scene around them of the guards' lives dying out and then Mid over in the hall questioning the trooper who'd come shooting at them. He naturally held his ground with his loyalty -a brave effort- but useless to the might of The Confessor. It was literally what she was best at. Mid however, felt it was a pointless waste of effort as he instead killed the man with a merciful death. Behind her mask, The Confessor would purse her lips. Well, guess she wasn't going to do anything on this mission after all.

Deciding to enjoy the hunt, he then continued further into the bunker with the Fox troopers right behind him. Following in last -though one soldier was kind enough to wait for her- she too joined the ranks and continued inward. Their path was blocked at a heavy steel door to which Mid asked her to use her eyes to check inside. She would walk forward without saying anything and place her ungloved hand against the cold metal once more. While she focused her sonar on the room beyond the wall, both Mid and Robert would go to prepare a breach through the side wall.

In her ears she'd hear the voice of Mid instructing her that they were going to wait for her say so. She continued to focus on the room and then whispered back into her commlink. "There are five bodies inside. I'm sensing some strange movement as well. Droids. I can't tell how many. Must be their security measures. The cabinet members are huddled in the South-West corner. You'll have a clean line of shot when you breach, so aim carefully."

The Confessor would pull her hand away and put her glove back on. To the men behind her -those that split off with her- she would then explain to them, "When I blast the door you fire high. I don't want any of those council members getting shot."

Returning her attention to the door she would place her hand back on it then reply to the channel once more, "Breach in ten seconds. Starting....now." Closing her eyes to concentrate The Confessor switched off everything in her head and focused on channeling the Force. Building a powerful shockwave she pushed both of her hands into the steel and began to crumble it. The droids on the inside would all turn and raise their weapons towards The Confessor's location while the cabinet members took to covering behind riot shields in the corner; they all crouched down as if they were waiting for a bomb to go off. A bomb, that would come in from the side which none of them would see coming.

5 troops, a bunch of droids and a few terrified politicians. Mid couldn't care less about the troopers or politicians but he did care about the droids. They could either be normal infantry droids or they could be heavy duty assassin droids. And they didn't know their numbers. They could actually have problems with them.

Eriana gave them a countdown and the Fox troopers applied a shaped charge to the wall, ready to breach. Mid got ready to charge, counting silently in his head. He could hear the door by Eriana groan as she crushed it and he could feel the fear coming from those inside. When they reached zero the charge went off, taking everyone inside by surprise. Mid was first to go through, igniting his polearm and cleaving a droid in half. They were H4 battle droids...almost two-dozen of them. Not the best odds considering how tough those droids are, but it was manageable. Mid spun his weapon to create a shield for Bob and the troopers to push up. All the troopers and droids turned their attention to them while the politicians cowered behind their shields.

They made a fatal mistake. By turning all their attention towards Mid and Bob, they exposed their flank to Eriana and gave her the pleasure of politely kicking the door down, obliterating them from the side then working her magic to make the politicians surrender. Could this plan go any more perfect? Mid kept spinning his weapon to deflect bolts so Bob and the troops could get some fire on the droids while Eriana breached from her side.

Bob was pleasantly surprised with how smooth the operation was going. Usually by now they would be getting harassed by wave upon wave of stubborn defenders as well as annoyingly persistent backup. Such was seemingly not the case here. That little fact was a little worrying, considering the number of enemy droids where the Imperial troops needed to be. Bob had never fought droids before, so this should be an entertaining little exercise in adaptability.

As was standard, Bob merely poked his repeater through the doorway to being raining blaster fire on the caught off guard enemies as Mid made his way into the room. He couldn't just sweep the automatic weapon across the room like he wanted too however, as he kinda needed to not hit his new Sith friend or any of the soon to be Imperial prisoners. So, like the good soldier he was, he controlled his primal urge to shoot lots, and instead used careful controlled bursts to surgically take down droids one at a time.

The world beyond The Confessor's grasp exploded. She felt the fire and the dust pour into the room as the breaching charge went off. Using this momentum, she pulled with all her might and ripped the door down off it's hinge. She'd gotten one of them out; the troopers could push through the rest. Moving out of the line of sight the men with the blind Sith charged in and fired at a slightly upward angel. They were aiming for heads, not torsos. And politician still standing at this point deserved to be shot.

Inside, the droids didn't know who to fire at. Their attention was focused on the door where the blind Sith was making one hell of a distraction. But then as the explosion came from their side, they had to focus on them instead. Both sides came at them tearing into the safe room with blasters intent to kill. Her skilled troopers along with the careful trigger of Robert managed to take them down swiftly enough. Mid himself managed to take a few out simply by reflecting them in his polearm. But once again, The Confessor felt left out. It would change though once the room got quiet and the troops surrounded the scared and pleading civilians.

Deciding it was now her turn to speak up, The Confessor would enter into the vault by climbing over the half broken door. She then placed her hands behind her back as she walked into the semi-circle of troops who made room for her to approach. Fear was ripe between them. It gave The Confessor strength. It felt good. Fear was a strong sensation within the Dark and it fed the Sith better than any other emotion.

"I believe, it is time we had a conversation. No?"

"Please," one of the men would beg as he crouched in front of an elderly councilwoman to shield her. "Spare the women. We can make some arrangement."

"I think not," the blind Sith would say and reach up to take off her helmet. Her back was clearly to both men behind her, so they wouldn't see the discoloration of her eyes, skin, and how parts of her hair was falling out from the front of her head. She looked absolutely creepy and terrifying. The perfect image to instill more fear into them.

Continuing, "You will be making arrangements, but to call for a cease fire and surrender plea so that the Empire does not make Telos inhospitable for the next hundred years. How does that sound?"

One more post from each of you and then I'll wrap it up?

Mid kept deflecting and Robert kept shooting in perfect coordination. In no time at all the Confessor breached and the remaining troops and droids were caught in a crossfire. Mid deflected a few shots back but when the fighting came to a close he proceeded to cut a trooper and a few droids down with no effort at all. Pretty soon the only sounds in the room was the deep, fearsome hum of his polearm and the echoing of the fighting going on above them. The ground shook slightly every now and then as a bomb went off somewhere.

The Confessor approached and stood in front of the politicians. Mid kept his lightsaber on for that extra pinch of fear in the background. The massive weapon coupled with the blood splatter on his helmet and armour would most likely be enough to make anyone quiver in fear. He took a few deep sniffs and a chuckle erupted from him. "They reek of fear, lady Confessor." he spoke in an amused tone.

Fear was a powerful weapon. If a man played the fool, it would only be fools he would convince. But appear to be the devil then all men would submit. In his case, being a big, ironclad giant behind the terrifying and disturbing visage of the Confessor would whittle the will of these poor people down to nothing.

She proceeded to commence with the negotiations. The politicians were terrified and he had a feeling that it wouldn't take much of a push to convince them. He wished he had Varpa here as well. The fearsome Tuk'ata would have been the cherry on top to make these politicians crack. But they had to make do without that lazy mutt for now. Mid grasped the polearm with both hands and held it in front of him. "I would not test her if I were you." he spoke coldly, gripping his weapon tighter.

From behind his faceless helmet he threw a quick glance at Bob next to him. The man looked absolutely crazy. It was an amusing site to see this old fellow running around in imperial armour wielding a repeater. Safe to say, this little group had all flavours of fear to choose from.

Bob calmly shot down the clicking and clanking droids, reveling in the rush of the fight even though their opponents weren't exactly the smartest cookies in the bunch. It was almost a little sad how quickly the droids went down, and that firmly stamped out any ambition he might have had at creating a droid army. As fun as that might have been as a purely technical challenge, it just wouldn't be worth it if these were the product at the end of it.

He felt he had little business interfering with the Confessors job, whatever that may be. Besides, he didn't particularly like watching the Sith when they did their little interrogations, they tended to make him feel queasy. So, like a good soldier he began directing the rest of the troopers to take up defensive positions in order to make sure that the Sith weren't interrupted. He himself just did some quick pat-downs of the targets, making sure they weren't armed while the Sith held their attention.

Beside her, Mid would say out loud that the cabinet members smelled of fear, to which the blind Sith would chuckle in an evil villain sort of way, "You are right, they do. They know what we are capable of." Her Sith partner would then add to the threat that they would be wise not to test The Confessor. "And my patience is growing thin. What will it be then?"

Behind them, Robert would motion for the guards to turn about and defend their location. They gave him a strange look behind their masked helmets, but otherwise agreed when neither of the Sith argued with him. They lowered their guns and moved out of the room do do their task. The cabinet members continued to look around in fear, looking between one another as if hoping someone would stand and take the lead of this scandal.

Finally, one of them found their courage and would slowly start to stand. With no one actually holding a gun towards them he didn't seem as scared. But the Sith could still slice his limbs off if they so chose. "We'll do as you ask. Can you...find us a communicator?"

"Very wise," The Confessor would say. She then held her hand up over her shoulder as if waiting for someone to hand her one. She waited for her fellow priest to hand over his and then tossed it forward nonchalantly. Why she wasn't using her own, well she had her reasons. Naturally Mid would have adjusted the frequency to an open channel first, so the guy simply picked up the device since he'd dropped it from the blind Sith's poorly thrown toss.

"All units," the man would call over the radio, "This is Senator Charliese. The delegates of Telos are ordering a cease fire. Lower your weapons immediately. Repeat. Cease fire."

The senator then tossed the device back to the blind Sith who didn't even make a move to catch it. Mid's commlink bumped against her leg and fell to the floor. She didn't even flinch; nor would she go to pick it up herself. Mid would have to collect it on his own should he so choose. As the call then was sent across the war zone the fighters would descend, the airships would stop firing, and the troops would all lower their guns. The Confessor would then turn towards the hole in the wall and start walking out.

"Our work here is done. Take them into custody."
