DESCRIPTION​

The T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifle was an Imperial disruptor rifle used early on during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The weapon was commissioned directly by the empire for military use against rebel extremist cells across the galaxy. The weapon features a long sleek design that was not such a far cry from the typical E-11 blaster rifle's shape and size. This made it easy for imperial stormtroopers to wield and shoot, without the need for specialized training.

During the early years of the galactic civil war, imperial forces used a large number of these weapons against the population of Lasan. This attack, that was originally intended to quell rebellions on the world, lead to a near genocide of the entire Lasat species. When news of this situation broke out, the Imperial Senate quickly banned the use of these weapons, leading to a swift decommissioning of all related armaments.

Due to it's messy history, many individuals claimed that the T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifle was capable of shooting down entire starships and taking out hordes of individuals in a single shot. These were in fact exaggerations of it's actual power, reinforced by claims of the imperial senate at the time. The weapon in actuality was more on par with other disruptors.

Though these weapons have ceased military production, several outlaw tech groups still manufacture and sell these dangerous weapons.

LEGALITY​

Illegal. The T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifle, like all disruptor weapons, are banned on all civilized worlds, and frowned upon even on uncivilized ones.

INTENT​

Bringing a weapon from canon into the site's fanon. This also provides a generic disruptor rifle which was intended for military use.

RESTRICTIONS​

Disruptor weaponry can never be used against player characters.
