DESCRIPTION​

The semicircular T-6 shuttle set the stage for numerous other Slayn & Korpil ship designs. Today, the T-6 transport shuttle is a relic of the Clone Wars. Used as a diplomatic vessel and VIP transport by the Grand Army of the Republic, after the end of the Clone Wars, many T-6 shuttles found their place on open market where they have gone on to serve long careers. Though a very old design by now, the type can still be found in the hands of diplomats, planetary governments and even some private collectors.

The T-6 only requires a single pilot to crew the shuttle. However it is advised to have a decent co-pilot who can provide support for the shuttle's systems. With a maximum capacity for six passengers, plus consumables the ship can carry an additional 1 ton of cargo. A singular boarding ramp located on the port side allows for passengers to board or disembark the craft. The interior of the ship is remarkably comfortable making it a desirable craft to use to this day. Furthermore the advancements of the verpine hives of Slayn & Korpil make the overall riding experience very pleasant.

Thanks to its three powerful engines, T-6 can achieve a top speed of 80 MGLT. The rotating cockpit and engine block design would go on to be used for the B wing bomber design as well as become a feature several other starship manufacturers would capitalize on. The T-6 has a singular loading ramp located on the port side of the engine block. When the ship takes off or lands it rotates ninety degrees.

The performance of the T-6 was a cut above the rest at the height of the clone wars. While the standard manufactured shuttles by S & K lacked armament, many T-6 shuttles were given aftermarket weapon systems. A handful of T-6 shuttles were present at the battle of Exogol bearing missile tubes and laser cannons. While still inferior to starfighters of today, the T-6 can be a versatile craft with few drawbacks other than their dwindling numbers. But most still rely on speed and maneuverability to avoid damage. The light deflector screens on the ship allow it to take a bit of damage but are not meant to be the shuttle primary means of defense.
